Dr
James
Burrano
is
a
major
part
of
the
reason
I
am
now
physically
disabled
and
now
need
a
service
dog
because
I
have
serious
trouble
walking
and
am
a
fall
risk.
He
pushed
me
into
a
hasty
foot
surgery
years
back
and
ignored
many
important
factors
when
opening
me
up.
I
complained
of
pain
and
stability
issues
for
up
to
a
year
after
that
and
he
treated
me
like
I
was
an
annoyance
and
assured
me
I
was
fine.
I
had
to
get
a
second
opinion
elsewhere
and
that
led
to
many
years
of
specialists
and
multiple
other
procedures
to
"correct"
everything
he
missed
and
also
screwed
up.
Every
doctor
I
saw
after
his
first
surgery
was
utterly
shocked;
one
even
described
the
situation
as
a
"chop
job."
I'm
thirty
years
old
and
I
can
no
longer
walk
for
long
periods
of
time,
I
cannot
stand
for
periods
of
time.
I
had
to
abandon
my
career
in
the
hospitality
industry
forever
because
I
can't
be
on
my
feet
for
that
long
without
being
in
massive
amounts
of
pain
and/or
falling
and
injuring
myself.
I
can
no
longer
run,
I
cannot
ride
a
bike,
I
can't
use
most
machines
in
a
gym.
My
foot
and
ankle
are
now
held
together
with
titanium.
I
need
at
least
two
more
surgical
procedures
before
I'm
40.
I
am
in
a
constant
state
of
pain
and
simple
tasks
like
walking
through
a
grocery
store
have
become
insanely
difficult.
I
am
a
fall
risk
and
now
require
a
service
dog
for
the
remainder
of
my
life;
even
acquiring
a
service
dog
is
a
majorly
confusing
and
huge
financial
undertaking
within
itself.
There
was
one
more
doctor
at
the
health
center
at
one
point
that
I
saw
out
of
pure
desperation
after
requesting
I
see
anybody
other
than
him.
I
cannot
remember
her
name,
but
according
to
the
website,
I
don't
think
she
works
there
any
longer.
She
also
treated
me
like
an
annoyance,
she
was
extremely
dismissive
of
my
concerns,
was
generally
very
nasty.
She
had
the
nerve
of
accusing
me
of
"doctor
shopping"
because
I
explained
to
her
why
I
was
afraid
to
see
Burrano
again.
She
even
put
me
through
injecting
a
very
painful
spot
in
my
foot
(that
I
later
confirmed
was
a
spot
with
serious
nerve
damage)
with
cortisone.
I
have
no
idea
why
she
felt
that
was
necessary,
it
didn't
nothing
to
help,
and
the
pain
was
so
excruciating,
I
passed
out.
She
then
sent
me
on
my
way
and
told
my
partner
at
the
time
to
just
"massage
her
feet
with
lavender
oil,
that's
all
you
can
do."
I
didn't
think
I'd
ever
care
enough
to
post
a
review
like
this.
I
trusted
Dr.
Burrano.
I
actually
first
saw
him
as
a
child,
at
age
ten,
when
he
had
a
private
practice
in
the
suburbs.
That's
when
I
was
informed
that
I
had
a
genetic
issue
with
my
foot.
He
told
me
to
come
back
to
him
at
any
point
in
time
if
things
got
worse,
so
that's
precisely
what
I
did.
This
man,
whether
he
realizes
or
even
cares,
put
me
through
absolute
hell
and
upended
my
entire
life.
I'll
never
be
the
same.
I
felt
compelled
to
write
this
publically
after
seeing
him
with
other
NHC
staff
at
a
bar
the
other
night,
acting
pompous
and
obnoxious,
and
drunkenly
being
rude
to
the
poor
bartender.
It
was
just
so
beyond
upsetting
seeing
him
sitting
there,
having
a
grand
ol
time,
while
I
am
just
a
number
to
him,
an
unknown
person,
sitting
there,
so
sad
and
angry
over
the
fact
that
the
man
that
completely
changed
my
life
and
career
path
is
sitting
there
enjoying
himself
like
nothing
happened...
There
was
no
point
in
saying
a
thing
to
him
that
evening.
I
truly
don't
think
he
would
have
cared
or
thought
twice
about
it,
but
it
would
be
remiss
of
me
to
not,
after
all
this
time,
post
this
publically
in
the
hopes
that
he
can't
hurt
anybody
else.
I
cannot
speak
for
other
departments
at
NHC,
but
do
NOT
go
to
this
man
or
anyone
on
his
team
if
you
value
your
current
quality
of
life
and
want
doctors
who
will
actually
listen
to
you
and
care.
