They gave me a dirty room. I was too tired to notice till morning. When I went to tell the front desk, the man at the desk actually yelled at me and got hostile. Don’t expect a cup of coffee in the morning either. $95 for a filthy room and abusive desk staff.

I lived here for almost 3 months & ended up here due to a previous toxic living situation. $350 a week for a double bed out the door isn't bad at all... anywhere else will charge $400+ and you'll encounter roaches and bugs at those other motels. Forget all these negative reviews, this place is somewhere to call home and comfortable living for the time being. Thank you to the awesome mantieence man Smitty for installing a brand new AC and putting a new fridge THE SAME DAY in my place when I moved in and both quit working. Take the good with the bad in life, the staff here are amazing and kind hearted in my opinion.

Health hazard- roaches in the open on every surface- toilet, tub, counters, floors have filth caked on & every corner. Who knows what's on the chairs and beds. Comforters clearly not laundered. Drains all clog immediately. The health department could collect deadly bacteria here and have this place shut-down in 5 minutes. I also got a stomach bug & flu while staying here. The parking lot is beyond dangerous at night. Their rates aren't even competitive to other hotels, don't risk getting car broken into or sick here. Also TV is on shared internet connection and too slow to even play regular TV shows. Owners could easily hire people who clean in between guests and security. Shameful to run a business this way.

It was horrible! Ac wasn't plugged in because it over heated and melted the plug, holes in walls with wires hanging out, floor was nice but it was dirty and sticky. Bathroom was good but when you do a renovation don't forget about the bathtub it was gross. Security chain broke, Cigarette burns in the top sheet. I could go on and on.

I was very disappointed in this place. The curtains did not close all the way the bathrooms were not very clean. The service was not even friendly. It is very run down. I was scared to sleep on the bed I was looking out for bed bugs but what do you expect for paying $100. I did not recommend this place for spending a night.

Title: A Disgusting Display of Racism and Discrimination at Grand Rapids Inn Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I am appalled by the complete lack of integrity and respect shown by the Grand Rapids Inn during my recent visit. I write this review with a heavy heart, as the experience I witnessed was nothing short of disgusting. My friend, who happens to be African American, was visiting my husband and me and needed a room for the night. When he approached the front desk to inquire about availability, he was informed that there were no rooms left. However, to my utter dismay, I noticed that the room right next to ours was completely empty. Feeling a sense of disbelief and indignation, I decided to walk to the office myself and request an additional room. To my surprise, my request was promptly granted, and I was given the room next to ours without any issue whatsoever. This blatant act of discrimination and racism displayed by the staff at the Grand Rapids Inn is absolutely unacceptable. It is not only a violation of basic human rights but also a disgrace to the hospitality industry as a whole. No individual should ever be denied accommodation based on their race or ethnicity. I expected a certain level of professionalism and equality from an establishment that claims to provide hospitality services. Instead, what I witnessed was an appalling showcase of prejudice and bias. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider staying at the Grand Rapids Inn. Supporting an establishment that harbors such discriminatory practices only perpetuates racial inequality and injustice. There are numerous other accommodations in the area that prioritize inclusivity and respect for all individuals. It is my hope that the management of Grand Rapids Inn takes immediate action to rectify this situation and implements comprehensive training programs to educate their staff on equality, diversity, and inclusion. No one should ever have to endure the pain and humiliation my friend experienced during his encounter with your establishment. In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how deeply disappointed I am with the Grand Rapids Inn. My experience was tarnished by the evident racism and lack of integrity displayed by the staff. I implore anyone reading this review to seek out alternative accommodations that prioritize equality and respect for all guests.

I was rented a much better room and I'll think I might keep this one. No bugs at all and much more sanitary. Full kitchenette and no holes in walls. Fully furnished. Much better choice. Thank you

Most expensive weekly motel in town; starting at $350/week. The location is good, but the rooms are dirty and INFESTED with cockroaches. You will see dozens of them every night. You can find much cheaper and nicer rooms around town. Highly don't recommend.
