I've been getting pizza from this location for 22 years and I still love it. For 6+ years I have been ordering Peppino's every Thursday for a club at GVSU (Ratio Christi). I've had students tell me that when school is out they start craving Peppino's on Thursdays 😁. Anyways, since I'm moving out of state, I thought now is a good time to share my appreciation for this place. I'll be sure to grab a slice whenever I come to visit family.

Ham and cheese is always a solid choice, but this time I opted for the manicotti, which was delightfully ensconced in sauce, with cheese melted to perfection on top. Cheese sticks were also great, but who has room to devour those when the dinner is so good? I would give Peppino's ten stars if I could, and I try new restaurants all the time. Seriously, take a moment to enjoy this gem of a dining experience. I ate half before I took the pictures. It's THAT good.

Today I ordered 2 pizza grinders, I was really disappointed, they were both completely soggy, not cooked long enough, we haven’t ate there in quite sometime and thought we’d try it again, but no such luck. Just a tip- you should prob cook them a little longer!!

Very few places like Peppino's where you feel it home and welcomed in a high quality Pizza like you used to get when you were a teenager.

I enjoyed the pizza, but would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't ordered their awesome chicken strips, too! The chicken strips were delicious by themselves, and very filling, so the pizza did not meet an appetite. My fault; always good pizza.

Pizza and boneless wings taste exceed expectations as always! Nobody makes a pizza as tasty as Peppeinos can! Highly recommend!

LOVE this place! I don't know if it's my imagination, but I swear the pizza here is better than the sports bar down the road.

Staff were very friendly, food delicious, & we got a great deal using our Allendale football card.

Had a large take out order, and they were awesome to work with. Definitely will order from the again.

The family size pizza is massive. Best pizza around. Hand cut fresh ingredients.

Small pizza place. Walked there from our hotel because road was under construction. To be honest was just hoping for something edible.We definitely got surprised pizza was great. 2 different pizzas both were Awesome. Nuked some 2 days later.......just as good. If your ever in Allendale, Mi. Go get some. 3 for atmosphere because it's tiny and hardly anyone was there. However they did have 7 pickup orders while we were waiting.

Amazing pizza! A family favorite. BUT what really makes them stand out for us is that it is a location (Allendale Express) that works for people with allergies. We have a family member with gluten and dairy allergies. They offer a gluten free crust and a dairy free sauce. They are as careful as they can be about cross contamination (keeping in mind it is a pizza place - unlikely to be safe for celiac). It is the only place we have found that our allergy family member can enjoy pizzaria pizza with the rest of the family. We add dairy free cheese when we get home and order safe toppings. We are very grateful and are faithful Peppino's customers!

What an amazing business and group of people running it. The food is always delicious and ready at the time quoted. Clean establishment. We ordered the lasagna to go and loved it

I have only recently started getting pizza here. Over all, the food has been excellent at all locations I visited. I’m glad they have multiple locations in Allendale, but it became a bit confusing when I tried to return to the one that I first stopped at. I can tell that these people have figured out how to take care of a busy college town on a Friday night!

The quintessential small town pizzeria! The pizza's are better than any national chain, better cheese, better sauce, and that crust doesn't need 10 different flavors to be delicious. A steaming hot Peppino's Express Stromboli is as good as it gets! The flavor and juices sealed up inside until it's puffed up and golden brown... just incredible. Their Chicago style pizza is as good as any in Chicago, their Detroit style is as good as any in Detroit. Being that they've been in that local community for longer than you've been alive and that Peppino's has opened a new Sports Grill in town, Peppino's Express isn't geared for dine in as much as it is for take out, but enjoying a pizza in their small dining room as the local community files in and out grabbing their favorite take out is actually a cool experience. There is a somewhat nostalgic feel to it, all they'd need is a pinball machine.

This place was rocking out pizzas. Did call and figured a 30 min wait and it was closer to 45. So plan ahead. But they had massive customers. Consistently busy during the rushes. Amazing food and worth the wait

Peppinos (express location only) is easily the best pizza in Allendale. Great crispy/chewy crust, tasty homemade sauce, and high quality toppings. After trying, we don’t order from anywhere else.

The pizza, grinder and salad were just okay. Nothing too exciting. The prices are decent and the staff are friendly.

Pretty good pizza, the sauce is nice and sweet. We have had the wrong order given to us and not realized till we got home so definitely recommend checking your order before you leave. Still enjoy their pizza 🍕

TLDR: This place is a yes. Delivery was fast, came hot, and packaged securely. 10/10 Food appearance is well above par. 10/10 Great sauces and tang in the pulled pork sandwich. Ample amount of tender meat with just the correct amount of juicy fat. Smelled amazing, and the pickle in it helped get rid of the 'heavy' feeling similar sandwiches might have. 10/10 The sweet potato fries on the side came hot, and tasty.. but had started to become steamed and lose the crunch while in the delivery container. Will keep ordering for delivery on the taste alone though. 8/10 The dry rub boneless wings had a great smell, amazingly crispy crunch, and not at all oily on the mouth feel or taste. The plain no sauce ones are almost dry, and I was glad I got some ranch with it, with some hot sauce in the fridge to complement. 9/10 Time: fast. 20 minutes before their quoted time. 10/10. Knock: Confident, firm, sharp. 10/10 Great food, fast service, efficient and professional workers, great vibes. 94/100

Service was good. Pizza was not. Crust burned, canned sauce, very little cheese and greasy. Disappointed.

Best pizza ever! Like the inside updates. I havent been there for many years. Food better than ever.
