Phenomenal experience. We came here for a Father's day brunch and the food was divine and the service was superb! That coupled with an excellent ambiance and chill music made this a phenomenal dining experience. We started with the cinnamon roll which was delicious, sweet but not overly rich. And then followed up with their breakfast burrito and it was truly one of the best I have ever had. There was not one complaint about the food, would highly recommend and cannot wait to come back!

Happy hour was so great this summer that we went back for brunch! Great food and even better service. In the summer we sat outside on the makeshift patio, downtown Columbus got creative during Covid, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and prices of the Happy Hour menu. Our server was laid back in the best way, the drinks were refreshing and the fish tacos and beef sliders were highlights. Brunch was at least as good as Happy Hour. Several people in our party were running late but the hostess was so gracious when I asked about pushing our reservation back a little. I hate being that person but the hostess had the grace to not seem bothered at all. We all got different dishes and everyone in our party of five cleaned their plates. If I had to single anything out I’d say the quiche and French Toast will definitely be ordered again. We will definitely be back, multiple times.

What a brunch! What an energetic, yet casual establishment to leisurely enjoy fantastic food. The Del Mar crew smile from your first steps in the door, to saying goodbyes as you leave fully sated. Let’s start with the Cinnamon Roll, shall we? The cream cheese frosting covers the not too sweet, not too cinnamon-y roll like a comfy blanket. Pull apart sections are the right way to devour it, which we did. The Benedict with rosemary ham was deliciously presented and the eggs were smoothly runny. Citrus arugula salad tartness balanced the Benedict. The Eggs Your Way says it all, and the potatoes nestled next to the eggs pitched right in. Make your way there once and your find your way back! We will

This place is just ok. We had good food and good service at the table. Our server was great the hostess not so much. They couldn’t tell if they had an open table or not and were hotly discussing where to seat us. Over all not a bad place to try if you are in the area.

Great food, great service, but just a bit loud in the room for my tastes. The place is beautiful and the food exquisite. What can I say?...I'm older and prefer a quite atmosphere. I'll definitely be back on a Monday, or something less crazy than a Friday night. My server, Mai, was ACES! Professional, polite and there when needed. Awesome service. The food was amazing.

Del Mar has to be one of my favorite restaurants in town. The food is amazing and the service is always great. I was finally able to catch the happy hour and I am so glad that I did. I tried almost everything on the menu! I tried the Fried Oyster, Potato Bread, Dynamite Roll, Barbacoa Taco, Del Mar Burger. Everything was hot and fresh and good! Our waitress was phenomenal , she allowed me and my guest to look through the menu. And just made sure we enjoyed our dinner. If you are looking for a sign to go to Del Mar! Look no further , this is your sign to go !! Can’t wait to come back.

I’ve been to Del Mar a few times and the setting is nice and the food is generally good. Ive had some experiences with horrible service and generally I think the service isnt super great here. In my most recent visit I went for brunch- the burrito was pretty good, my dining partners thought their dishes were generally good.

Beautiful restaurant and good service. I got the lettuce salad and the seafood soup. The food was unremarkable but the overall experience was nice.

I can't count the times I'ved visited this restaurant. Up until Covid, Del Mar SoCal Kitchen had thee best Lobster Roll in Columbus. Served on Broche bun with clarified butter, we literally made this a weekly stop. Covid caused them to scale back the infamous Lobster Roll to be served only on Wednesday which only cause for a slight alteration of the day of the week we would visit. Finally removing the Lobster Roll from the menu caused a bit if skepticism in visiting until we found a lovely delight in the fried oysters with the white sauce. Be sure to always order extra of whatever this wonderful creation. It adds so much flavor to the golden fried oysters. Equally delightful is the fish sandwich that we always request be fried in the same batter as the oysters and be provided with the white oyster sauce for dipping. Always a wonderful dining experience at Del Mar SoCal Kitchen.

Great atmosphere, decent service, but below average food at an exorbitant price. Oysters were $4.50 a piece and definitely not fresh, very little liquor and one person even got a bad one. Our bowls were below average with very little protein and vegetables, and mostly noodles. Probably won’t be back.

Pictures do not do this place justice. We experienced Del Mar for the first time last weekend, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The aesthetic is beautiful. It's definitely a high-end feel without too high of a price point. We got the fried oysters and brussels for our appetizer and thought both we're excellent. We chose the cripsy skate and the chicken sandwich for our entrées and they we're excellent also. The service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, sweet, knowledgeable, and personable. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience, and I'm sure we will be back!

Beautiful interior and delicious food & cocktails. The service was also great. The menu has some great seafood options that you will not find anywhere else in town.

Always a good place to eat! I always get the swordfish and the potato bread app. The barbacoa tacos, skate, and brick chicken are all good too. Sometimes its hard lfindimg a place to go when we have our sons with us, but there's enough options on the menu that we can find something we like, and there are some familiar menu items that the kids will eat. He really liked the tacos. It is a little noisy and busy, but we kind of like that. Its not "stuffy", it just feels like a cool laid back friendly place to eat. Just be sure to make reservations!

Great brunch - we were in town for a family wedding and caught a few hours in between the ceremony rehersal and the evening gathering and stopped for a meal which ended up being outstanding. Service was 100% on point. Food was great and the seating in the window people watching was amazing. Order the fresh hot cinnamon roll. You won't be disappointed

In a town with top-notch dining, Del Mar absolutely stands out. We had an amazing evening. Chef Grapski spoke to us while we were waiting for our reservation and told us all about the new sushi menu and introduced us to the sushi chef on loan from Ocean Prime. They were both so welcoming and willing to discuss their craft. This personal touch made the evening magical. The filet was perfectly prepared and was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And don't skip the Del Mar Burger. This burger is perfection on a bun.

Entry was professional and comforting. Chairs were comfortable enough to sit for dinner but not for hours on end. Table acknowledgment was quick but too soon too order. Started with a jumbo shrimp per person. Fantastic. Continued with Potato Bread. Genuinely different and amazing taste. Too rich to have more than one piece. Dinner Crispy Skate and Chicken Sandwich. Different spectrums but both intentionally tender and delicious. The skate made us nervous because we had never had it. We were short of moaning while eating. Were not overly full but could not wait for our return to Del Mar SoCal.

We went for brunch hour on a Sunday, they had the doors open and it was wonderful for people watching. The food was great, especially the brioche french toast with strawberries. They ran out of the cinnamon rolls :( There was a cocktail that was very different but I enjoyed it (cucumber/lemon/mint type of thing). I'd love to come back for a dinner service with more menu offerings as the decor and ambiance were quite nice.

Pastel was an amazing server she knew the menu frontward and backward which I really appreciated as an indecisive type of guest she was able to guide me to the perfect plate - the Crispy Skate phenomenal and highly recommend! The oysters were also delicious. Additionally I requested a Charo's Kick- a little known cocktail with unique ingredients. Upon providing the recipe to Pastel She was able to have the bartender execute to perfection. This is my first time in Columbus but whenever I return I will be coming back to Del Mar and I will be requesting pastel as a server - she is a true gem impeccable service coupled with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere equal a win of combination in my book!

Hostess tried to sit us right next to another couple even though there were at least 5 other tables open. We asked to move to a table that was not directly next to some of the only people seated and she gave us an attitude. The food was good - definitely not created equally. Loved the steak and the oysters. The deal for wine was $10-12/glass and we asked the waitress what wine we should get and she up sold us for wine that was almost $25/glass, which we didn’t realize until we got the check. Both of our wines were more than the entry. Our check was almost $200. Service: 2/10. Food: 7/10. We will not be back and I would recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

Happy hour caught my eye, and it was a perfect way to start date night! I heard that it gets busy so I made us reservations a week ahead of time (highly recommend because it does get busy in the evenings). Stayed for dinner also. Good food, interesting/unique cocktails (not my fave) and great service.

This place is great. Brought my husband for his birthday and they did not disappoint. Great food, atmosphere, and our waiter was awesome. Happy hour from 4 to 6 half off starters.

Food, service, atmosphere & vibe was all amazing! Can’t beat the happy hour specials either. Our server went above & beyond to help us celebrate my Mom’s birthday — thank you!

I´m in Love! Everything was so good. Our waitress provided good recommendations and she was nice. You need to try the scallops, the Halibut, and the Tropicalia cocktail.

I went for my birthday and ended up going after the dinner rush around 830pm on a Friday it was perfect. We got a booth in the back it was quiet and not crowded. The server was great, friendly enough yet knew we wanted space. The food was amazing. We got shitshido peppers and fried oysters, swordfish and steak! Will definitely be back .

Food was average, esp for the higher end prices. Tuna poke was good, emerald greens salad not too great (too much dressing), fishermen stew was missing some crunch notes. I do recommend the olive oil cake, favorite part of the meal! You’re paying for the atmosphere, basically. Fun space and good service.

The food and service were both outstanding. We had a 7:30 reservation, and sat in the middle of the restaurant. The noise level was very loud, which is my only complaint. Our server was very attentive and even though they were super busy our food came out in a very timely manner.

Service was great! Price was great! Food was wonderful. I tried the potato bread, the shrimp bisque, and the citrus burrata

Place was great, didn't even have to wait for a table, it's called reservation!! Food was yummy. Tacos yummy.

We got the shishito peppers and bisque for our appetizers and both were delicious. I got the fisherman stew for my entree and it was also really good. My favorite part was dipping the bread in the broth. Yum! The ambiance was perfect for a date night and I highly recommend the restaurant to any foodie that is in a seafood mood. Bonus: The olive oil cake was perfect. Dense, moist, the perfect end to any meal.

Don’t take out from this place. I got a salad and instead I got a small Romano lettuce cut in half and I don’t even like the quality of it. I had to go back for the plastic utensils and napkins.

Ordered the scallops and my bf had the skate, definitely good but I felt the servings were a bit small, almost felt as if they treated the vegetables as a garnish instead of a part of the meal. Overall very tasty though and the pineapple drink was amazing enough to come back just for that! Potato bread and cake was amazing as well!
