Booking and checking in was easy - no issues there - but not impressed with anything that followed. The room was very warm when we arrived and the refrigerator was not on or plugged in. I understand wanting to conserve energy, but we had a short stay and I would've appreciated the a/c and refrigerator to be on and ready for occupancy. The smell in the entire hotel was of stale cigarettes, including the room, which was not pleasant. It’s also in the middle of a truck stop, so while the hotel is pet friendly, there isn’t a lot of green space within walking distance. You get what you pay for!

This place is a joke! Sure it was late when we stopped to get a room but we were told that all of the downstairs rooms are being remodeled and the only thing they had was upstairs room clear to the west side of the building. When I asked how much it was for two people two beds I was told $123 plus the fees and taxes plus another $100 for a deposit and when I asked the clerk that was working if the $100 was refundable on checkout he just gave me a funny look and laughed at me! It did not take me long to find the same door that I came in through to get out of and get away from that place! It isn't only the place and the price and deposit It's also that you could hear the traffic from outside, inside and the big trucks going back and forth to the fuel stops that are around it! I would not recommend this motel 6 to anybody and I have stayed at a lot of motel 6's across the country!

So I'll start by saying that Bud allowed us to check in before the official check in time since we had just driven 20hrs and we're tired and had no reservation, unlike literally all other surrounding hotels/motels. That was nice of him. We stayed in room 108. It was decent looking and not immediately dirty. It did smell like smoke so I'm not sure that it was cleaned very well. The odor was very strong, stale and nasty. We were so tired we just gave in. The walls are super thin so we heard the adjacent room's tv the whole time. Same goes for the ceiling in that we heard every heavy step above us. The bathroom was absolutely nasty. The entire ceiling had brown spots all over it (I believe water leak stains) and one of the corners was sagging from water damage. Everywhere there was caulk it was brown and dirty. Everything that had metal was rusted and dirty. The bath towels we're maybe half the size of a normal one. They were very thin and incredibly scratchy - not at all comfortable. The water pressure was awful and the soap smelled like cardboard. The toilet flushed after flushing three separate times. This is my first and last visit to a Motel 6 - ever! Again, it was very nice of him to take us in and he took our two dogs with no issue. We we're so unbelievably tired and were rejected by about 10 other previous places so we felt we didn't have an option.

My stay at this hotel was less than stellar.   There was no fridge or microwave in the room, the sick was clogged with lord on knows what, the hot tub worked but the drain plug was not working properly either and while the staff was friendly enough they seemed to have a lack of interest in their guests.  Not to mention all the noise from the entrance & exit ramps, being a truck driver, sleep is extremely important and i was unable to get any. In short, pass this hotel by.

Reserved a deluxe king room, arrived and they could not find my reservation. Clerk helped two young girls and left me waiting 30 minutes, then told me he did locate my reservation. He then informs me he has no king room available, that it had not been cleaned a couple days ago. He put me in a standard queen for the same price, downgrade in room, but not price. I’m in a brace and recovering from knee surgery, we were placed on the 2nd floor, no elevator. There was no vending/pop machine and the ice maker was out of order. My husband wanted to get in the hot tub so we walked to the pool to find an above ground residential hot tub with about a foot of rancid water in it. Returned to the room to try to sleep only to have a blaring light from a sign coming through our single curtain. I went to sleep, just wanting this to all be over, it was nearly 10pm by the time he got us in our room. The next morning I find part of a soap wrapper on the floor, we had not opened their soap. There were also droplets near the toilet, when I wiped them up the cloth was filthy from the dirt on the floor. There was also dirt and debris in the room. This is during covid when they claim to be taking extra cleaning precautions. This place desperately needs new management and cleaning staff. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written.

Its prices are way to high for the outdated rooms. They could be a lot nicer of rooms for the price you paid $80.00 a night or more. It has a pool that's not to clean. No hot tub!!! TV 's are little and maid service could do a whole lot better. Bud The Owner is Great He's a Friendly Guy. To pricey and not enough to offer with that price! Th

The rooms were clean, price was a good value, and basic amenities were provided. The only issues were the lack of towels, improperly working tvs, and no elevator. Be aware, this is right off the highway and you can feel the vibrations from passing semi trucks when standing in the room or sitting on the bed. Staff were friendly, helpful, and very efficient. Make sure to turn in your hotel keys upon checkout with the same card you used at check-in to get your deposit. Overall great value.

When we first checked in we were given room 202. We got our stuff to the room and realized the air conditioner did not work. After going downstairs though, the guy at the counter was perfectly happy to give us room 2:03 instead and apologized for the inconvenience. He was very nice and as busy as he was with a line of guests, I was impressed with his good nature attitudes :-) so clean although very plain but for the price you can expect much and it was a nice place.

The Rooms are Very Clean. Hardwood floors. The Bathroom is sparkling. Refridgerator and microwave clean. All the lights work and not to harsh on your eyes. The towel rack in the bathroom is awesome. The owner is a very friendly with a great smile. The room has a very relaxing atomosphere. And i was able to have an early check in.

Horrible. Cockroaches took one down to the front desk he tried giving us spray. When we said no he offered a different room. No money back.

This is one nasty place. Mold on the shower curtain, dirt in the room, stained towels, tacky, sticky floors. Really the only thing going for it was that it was cheap and the bed was halfway decent.

I will never ever ever stay at this motel again! Room 106 bed was hard as a rock and everytime we moved it felt as if the bed was going to fall apart. The rooms were very clean but my whole issue was how hard the bed was. Paid $86 because we had 2 very small dogs. This was the worst night I've ever had! I definitely see why they are a 2 star and wish I had looked at the reviews before we rented

This place used to be a Motel 6 but is now called Magnuson Hotel. Quiet and has parking for several big rigs.

Lester the front desk clerk is a rude, odd man. Rooms are small w no furniture and non smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Only way this hotel should get your money is if you are unable to pay with debit card and only have cash.

Room hardly had any furniture, felt very empty, also had no toilet paper, had to go to the front desk to get some, however the room was clean. Never found an elevator in the building, I'm guessing there is none? Not a big deal with only 2 floors but still odd. I would have been happy with my stay if the room were about $50, not the $82 I paid.

Front desk staff had an attitude when keys they gave us did not work, not once but twice. Beds are very uncomfortable and pillows flat. Asked for a roll away bed was told only had 2 for entire motel. Hot tub not working, also needed cleaned. Only 2 tables in pool area, area could have been cleaner. Room not cleaned, found dirty plastic spoon on shelf above hangers, trash bag in bottom of trash can had nasty mold growing in it and something smashed in it. Toilet needed to be cleaner, wiped it down myself, also corners and shelves in bathroom dusty/dirty. Upstairs hallway reeked of smoke, we had a non smoking room which thankfully did not smell like smoke. We stayed here due to location for a family party but I will drive farther next time and get a nicer room AND breakfast for same price or less. Would not recommend others stay here.
