We have lived in the area for over a year and have been wanting to try this restaurant out, So for our 41st wedding anniversary we decided to take our dog Flash out for a good anniversary dinner. He tolerated a few bites of the salad which was delicious and the flowers are edible. Linda and I had the shrimp scampi that was also very delicious, and of course we both shared our dinner with Flash and would you know it, he didn’t have one complaint with he dinner. Happy Dog Happy Life. Well bottom line here is we loved the dog friendly outdoor seating along the river, the service was right on not to much and not to little and very friendly. We can’t wait to go back. If you are ever in Grants Pass this restaurant is the perfect place to eat and to enjoy the river 😎 Thank you rivers edge restaurant for having us for dinner.

A delightful dining experience. Excellent food and service. I love coming here. I sit in the lounge, enjoy the view and browse the menu. I started off with Fried Artichokes, Roasted Beet Salad is to die for and the Osso Bucco is delectable and tender …. Ask to be seated with server “Misty” …. You will love this place …. Oooh and I went back and had an Edge Prime Rib Dip with sweet potato fries ….. Wow!

On a road trip & we stop here for lunch. Great river side view while eating. Great food & friendly staff. I would recommend this place for great tasting food & awesome service. It's expensive but worth the cost for the food. The only negative is that the drinks are overpriced, tho.

Stopped here for a bite to eat whilst heading through town - the terrace out the back overlooks the river and was quite pleasant on a sunny afternoon. We had everything we needed from a service perspective but the levels of congeniality fluctuated. Huge servings, hot and fresh food. I had the tempeh sandwich and my partner got the chicken Caesar wrap. we got a calamari to share. Restrooms were clean and tidy. The other meals on the menu looked delicious - worthwhile going to check out if you are in town.

Attending a luncheon with my loved ones, we had a very good experience overall. I had great company, of course and having a beautiful view of the river is a major plus! The wait staff was friendly and very helpful! We always enjoy our experiences here at River's Edge! Very thankful 🩷

Wonderful place to enjoy some amazing food. Bring your wallet, though. This isn't some roadside diner but an elegant dining establishment with a very chill atmosphere. It's worth every dollar.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at River's Edge Restaurant and indulging in their steelhead fish dinner. From start to finish, the experience was simply delightful. The restaurant's scenic location along the river added to the ambiance, while the attentive and friendly staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the steelhead fish dinner. It was absolute perfection! The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection, and had a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The flavors were well-balanced and complemented by a delicious lemon butter sauce that elevated the overall dish. The portion size was generous, and it was served with a side of perfectly cooked vegetables and fluffy mashed potatoes. I highly recommend the steelhead fish dinner at River's Edge Restaurant to all seafood lovers. You won't be disappointed by the quality, taste, and presentation. It truly surpassed my expectations and left me wanting more.

We came here for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We had a beautiful table by the water. Our server Devin (I think that’s his name) was amazing! So attentive and personable. He made our experience so special! The food and drinks were fantastic as well!

We had a birthday there on Saturday and they were very accommodating, letting me surprise my boyfriend with a Nothing but Bundt cake and balloons. The food was perfection 🥰 I had the lamb and he had the NY strip. The drinks were devine, try the Smokey Maple Old Fashioned 👌 Its a great restaurant and gorgeous views right on the river.

One of my favorite Grants Pass restaurants, especially for special occasions. Very nice wine list, gorgeous location overlooking the river, great food and service. An outside patio where several tables had dogs.any gluten-free options clearly marked. I usually get salmon here, but tonight tried their Osso Bucco, on a bed of mashed potatoes with carrots and Druids Fluid red wine. My companion had the rib eye with asparagus. All were done perfectly. Extra parking across the highway. If used, please use extra caution - people drive very fast, and pedestrians can be hard to see at night.

Sooo good!! Make a reservation and go enjoy the best food and atmosphere in Grant pass!! I loved the outdoor dining area and went back three nights in a row. It's on the river and just so very pleasant even on hot day. Fresh muddled raspberry lemon drop. It was the best!!

Amazing service and atmosphere, food was very good but pricey. Their steak servings are quite large, which could be the reason for the higher prices. I would rather have a 5 oz filet vs a 10 oz and pay less. The duck confit was delicious!

We cruised out before the dinner rush and enjoyed a beautiful table outside! Amazing food and I mean AMAZING. Even the things our children ordered from the child's menu were delicious and fancy. Service was great, no glass went un-filled.

Food here was incredible! Really unique flavor combinations. The prime rib has a really delicious bone marrow chimichurri, for example instead of the traditional horseradish. The salmon dish and the filet dish also had really amazing flavor combinations. The steamer clams were buttery and delicious! The drinks were also unique and really good. Overall, the food was definitely worth the cost and I will be eating here again.

I'm just visiting town but this could easily be the best restaurant in town. The ambiance in general was spectacular. The restaurant is right on the river and you can hear the sound of the water hitting the rocks nearby. The view is spectacular and at the right times of the year you can watch the sun setting downstream. The meat was cooked to perfection. They were running a special on lobster tail that was excellent. They had a pork belly appetizer that was a really fun and interesting experience. You won't find it many other places. It was covered in a chocolate hoisin sauce with coleslaw on top and tzatziki sauce. Not what I would consider a normal or average conglomeration of flavors, but it worked extremely well together. And they have an excellent selection of alcohol and mixed drinks, including a decent wine list. That's a good thing. I don't live here because I'd be eating at this restaurant on a regular basis.

Who else likes discovering new restaurants? I'd heard of @rivers.edge.grants.pass.or in the past but we'd never gone for lunch or dinner because honestly it never sounded appealing to us. Well, this last weekend I was invited out to do a menu tasting of their newest seasonal menu coming out in the next couple of weeks and now I can't wait to take the family over for lunch or dinner! First things first. In spring 2021 they got new owners that completely revamped their food and cocktails, starting over with a farm to table mindset. They source their ingredients as local as possible, scratch making every dish, and handcrafting their cocktails. Their wine selection is extensive, supporting lots of wineries as well as offering wines you may not be able to find anywhere else in southern Oregon such as Caymus, Quilceda Creek, Stags Leap Wine Cellars, Duckhorn among others! Call ahead and they will cork your wine for you to be ready when you arrive! Secondly, their location is absolutely gorgeous! They are located right on the Rogue River with a beautiful, large outdoor seating area that will be especially stunning in the spring. Their dining room is still in the works to be remodeled but it is nice and cozy with lots of booths and a nice bar with great views of the river also. It's definitely a great spot for date night and special occasions, or even just a casual lunch out. Their whole menu is fantastic, but my five favorite items are pictured.

Worth it! My husband and I went for our 1st year anniversary dinner and had reservations for outdoor seating which was amazing! They had heaters to keep it warm and the view was beautiful. The food was also delicious, we had ordered the Prime Rib and the Ribeye, both were cooked perfectly. The mushroom and onion topping was a must. They also divided the Edge Wedge salad for us and the balsamic vinaigrette was perfect with the bleu cheese crumbles. They had a large variety of wine and cocktails as well as non alcoholic beverages. We ended up bringing home a slice of cheesecake for dessert 🥰 We will definitely be back!

Phenomenal Food. Superb Service. Exquisite Environment. I met a friend here for late lunch on a Tuesday. Claire was our server, she was friendly, conscientious, smart and lovely. The restaurant is very clean. I had a great view of the river and enjoyed watching the geese across the way. I order the beet salad and tempeh sandwich. They were both delicious. The salad is served with lightly candied macadamia nuts that were tasty, the greens were fresh and the beets were perfect! The tempeh Sammie was served with a generous amount of avocado. I enjoyed it immensely. The sweet potato fries were tender and crispy, they seemed baked, not fried, which I liked. I will definitely return.

First time having dinner here in Grants Pass. It was most delightful 😊 The atmosphere was nice, we were seated by the window so I could see the water flowing and beautiful flowers all over the back patio. The music was quite lovely 😍 The staff friendly, nice. The food and wine very good 👍 and because it was my birthday I received the most delicious dessert, chocolate, peanut butter and ice cream... oh my 🥰 Pretty spendy for us... but now and then it's soo nice to have a special treat 💗 Highly recommended 👌

Beautiful view of the Rogue River. The beet salad had a nice fresh dressing. The halibut special with risotto and brocolini was fabulous. I really liked how creamy the risotto was.

Old neighbor’s meeting for lunch. Doors opened promptly at 12 pm right on the Dot. We were seated in the lower section over looking the river. I had there meat loaf meal, came with delicious mashed potatoes with perfectly cook asparagus. The meat was better then my wife’s meat loaf ( we won’t tell her :) Appears they seared both sides of my slice that was wrapped in bacon. Definitely coming back and recommend

Had a reservation to celebrate our friends birthdays, we were supposed to have the room but when we arrived it was taken. We got seated & ordered drinks which some got forgotten. We placed our food order only to finally get our food 2 hours later & 4 of us couldn't even eat our meals; 2 were the chicken 1 was the mojo pork & I had the duck. The sweet potato was spackled to the side of the bowl & I had to spit out the duck on my first bite. My friends birthdays were ruined, Money & time waisted.

This was my first visit to the River's Edge Restaurant. The Restaurant looked great with fantastic views of the Rogue River. The hostess did a great job at getting our party of three seated outside. The menu had some wonderful options, but after waiting for over 30 minutes with no one offering water, or, even acknowledging that we were there, was a bit of a bummer. Sadly we ended up leaving to celebrate our son getting his driver's license somewhere else

River's Edge is always our go to fancy restaurant for special occasion dinners. The prices perfectly match the quality of the food, and the views and atmosphere are wonderful. I strayed from my usual entree of steak the last time I went and instead got the scallops and they were absolutely delicious! I also had their lavender lemonade and it was also refreshing and great! It's a little spendy for large parties since there's an 18% automatic gratuity added to groups over 7, but that's pretty standard at most restaurants that I've been to. The staff is always friendly, and we will always go back.

This is our favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful, romantic and the food is fresh and delicious. The waitstaff is always-and has always been friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Rachael is my favorite waitress/server; she has a glowing essence about her and is very attentive. She always makes us feel welcome.. Then Scott and his music is that added bonus. Beautiful music, relaxing vibe and a river front table tops it off in the warmer time of year. Definitely a place I highly recommend!

This place was GREAT! I enjoyed everything about it. Great service… great view…. Great food! And it all was well priced! My beef dip was outstanding, my wife’s veggie wrap was top notch. If I’m ever in Grants pass again this is top of my list!!
