This restaurant attached to the hotel has possibly the most enviable location in Vence, on the Place du Frene overlooking a magnificent view. It is run by a mother and daughter team, serving high quality traditional French food. Highlight for us was the “fire-cooked” meats (minimum two people to share), which is then cooked in their centuries-old open fireplace. We shared the saddle of veal which was done to perfection! Watching the sun set over the mountain and valleys of Vence was the beautiful end to an unforgettable trip to the South of France for us.

What a treat. We were traveling through Vence looking for a decent restaurant. We found this place and were stunned. Fantastic food. Honest to god, we had the best lamb ever. Roasted in front of our eyes in the wood fired pit. Ever so tender and delicious - we were actually sad when the plate was finished. Thank you - we will be back.

This was our 3rd stay at this lovely hotel over a 25 year time span. It's one of our most memorable places. We were so pleased that this wonderful establishment is still owned by the same proprietor Sandrine Roti. The rooms are large, immaculate and full of history. The food is excellent! We stayed for 3 nights and booked the restaurant for 2 nights in advance. They were closed the 3rd night or we would have booked that as well. This visit we were able to sit outside to eat in the courtyard and watch the lights come on as dusk approached on the hillside. Past visits we've eaten in the dinning room with the fireplace roaring. Thank you very much for another wonderful visit!

Food is incredible! We ordered the grilled fire veal and roasted chicken (need to order in advance) and everything was superb! Must place to eat in Vence.

We stayed for 17 day’s and had the very best time in Daniels and Sandrine hotel.How wonderful their attention every day and thank you for your kind hospitality. The hotel beeing since more than 4 generations in family hands , being situated in the center of Vence, one can walk easily to everywhere. The rooms are very spacious and with the wonderful look to the Henri Matisse Chapel. Enjoy.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed with one of the nicest welcome we have ever received from anyone. Our room was huge with a big bathroom to match, very clean and bang in the centre. The beds are really comfortable the views are amazing and it is silent at night,but really what makes this place special is the people who run it. They are lovely and work hard to keep this amazing place outstanding! Thank you for having us, we hope to return soon!!

We’ve all had lots of chickens in our lives…. Hands down one of the best chicken dishes i’ve ever had!!!!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻And ive been to a lot of excellent restaurants. I usually dont write these reviews. GET THE CHICKEN!!!! Foiegras was also great!!! (Family owned, lovely vibe)

Three of us popped in for dinner whilst on holiday in the South of France. Totally fabulous. Their USP is meat grilled on a rotisserie next to an open fire. Two of us had the lamb and it was yummy. The fish too was excellent. The dinning room is lovely - lined with olive press boards and a great view of the surround hills. Service is lovely and unrushed. If I could change one thing I would change the chairs. They are lovely but I’ve sat in more modern ones that are more comfortable. Warmly recommended.

Absolutely perfect stay at Auberge des Seigneurs. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. Fabulous restaurant. Our chicken was roasting over the fire when we arrived! Very attentive service- fruit and flowers in the room, nougat candies on the bed. Perfect location, beautiful views of the mountains from the little plaza across from the hotel. Brava to Sandrine, the owner- très sympa. Vence is a charming town. Highly recommend.
