Thank you for the wonderful dinner tonight! The Chef's choice rolls are what we order. And they are so yummy. The tempura calamari is always the best, even take out! The seared tuna salad and seaweed salad are also a favorite! The Chef's choice rolls never disappoint. Thank you for our dinner

Good menu selection. Friendly service. Good tasty sushi. Great presentation. Only negative is my order didn’t all come out at once. Ordered two rolls and sashimi. Sashimi didn’t show up until over half finished with rolls. But id go back.

This place is amazing! The restaurant itself is relatively small and quiet and we were able to just walk in and get a seat. They have so many great options to choose from on their sushi menu. We ended up going with the Mercy, Rock, and Hamachi Hana. All of the rolls (especially the Mercy and Rock) were so delicious!! The presentation was excellent and our food was brought out super quickly. For the high quality, the price is incredibly reasonable. I’m looking forward to visiting here again soon!

I'm not a huge sushi fan but oh my was this delicious! Just had it for lunch with some coworkers and it was great. The portions are awesome, the ratio of the ingredients, and textures are perfect. Definitely will be coming back here in the near future!

Would not go back!!! I think the sushi & prices was great but not worth the horrible service! I ordered a sake flight & did not like it; therefore, I didn't drink it & POLITELY asked for it to be sent back & taken off my bill. They weren't able to take it off my bill (which is fine) and asked me for a replacement drink. Which was fine; however, my replacement drink was $8 versus the flight was $20. Once our bill came and we paid cash - one of the servers came back & literally ASKED FOR MORE TIP! I explained my drink was only $8 while my flight (that I did not drink) was $20 and I asked for a second drink which she said she could only give me one drink. But she wouldn't leave our table until we gave her more money. Additionally, she was condescending when explaining how tipping works. It felt disrespectful & degrading Never in my life have I had a server asked for more tip money let alone made us feel humiliated & shamed for our tip amount & forced us to tip more. I will never be returning to this place & will never recommend this place to anyone & will be telling everyone about this terrible experience.

This restaurant is so underrated! It is a small restaurant, but has everything you need to have a great dining experience ~~ fresh, high quality sushi, great sushi chefs, friendly and attentive servers, and a simple but modern and comfortable interior. I had the scallop and sweet shrimp nigiri—they tasted amazing, melted inside your mouth, and I could taste the freshness. The presentation is beautiful as well, since you can tell the attention to detail the chef put into the plate. Hamachi on ponzu is very refreshing and the jalapeño and chili tobiko compliments the dish very well. The sushi chef give us complimentary shima aji (horse mackerel), which is a new fish that I’ve never tried before. It taste heavenly and made my taste buds scream of happiness. Mochi ice cream in the end complete my dinner. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking a fresh and high quality sushi place.

First time was a great food experience. Definitely coming back. Our waitress Aryia was great.

The food was great. The service was awful. After ordering our drinks we finally had to ask for them after about 15 minutes. One main course arrived before the appetizer. When we questioned why the server said they were really busy. So one person in our group ate while the rest of us sat and watched. Thank goodness the food was good but not sure it was worth the long delay and poor service.

This is a very nice place for sushi. Their food is amazing. It is fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The staff is kind and courteous. The service is fast. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended for a family dinner or a special date!

Amazing!! Go here is all I gotta say. The bulgogi fried rice was so good, I took leftovers home and finished everything. Not a bite wasted.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Gurnee area!! Already my third time visiting this place today, and amazing food and cool atmosphere as always!!! The staff is really friendly, and they know what they're doing. Special thanks to Chef Chris who always provides awesome food and top-notch service. I just can't wait to go back to this Japanese restaurant again!!!!!!

Chefs choice platter was literally the best quality sushimi I’ve ever tried. Top notch, displayed beautifully and fresh. Highly recommend to any hardcore sushi lover.

We used to get sushi often from here, but quality seems like it's constantly going down. Salmon is not always fresh and sometimes has a weird taste/smell, I don't know if they use less fresh fish for takeout. We ordered california crunch, unagi roll today and both are so bad. you can see from my picture that rice is falling apart, doesn't even look like sushi rice. Eel tastes burnt, and california crunch was fried for too long and hard to chew. Totally disappointed.

We all have their ramens and I think their ramen is not authentic as other restautant. We do ordered a plate of sushi and I think their sushi is very good. The sushi has light crisp which is not over fried. I would say they have good sushi instead of ramen noodles. The waitress is nice and serve us well.

An absolutely adorable place! We’re from 3 hours away on a mini vacation and I’m so glad we chose this for our first meal here. I have celiac disease which means I can’t have any gluten, the amazing waitress worked with the chef to ensure my food was safe. I missed sushi SO much and I finally got it and amazing service with it! My boyfriend also got so delicious looking sushi along with some ramen. I HIGHLY recommend going here! 💕💕💕

We discovered this spot in October 2020 and haven’t looked back! The Sunset and Crazy Rolls are our favorites. The fried rice is unreal. The space is clean and the staff always friendly and attentive. If you love sushi, this is the spot for you!

Very close from Sixflags. They served welcome service that Kids really loved. We ordered each menu and enjoyed a lot. Staffs are kind.
