Where to begin! I ordered the Philly steak 🥩 sandwich & this sandwich was LARGE & delicious I had to eat it with a fork and knife like I’m classy lol. We also ordered a cubano sandwich 🥪 which was equally delicious, the pan was SO fresh & toasty. Empanadas were crispy & filling. The arroz con gandules was fluffy and fresh (not pr rice) The papa relleno was fried to perfection none of the food was over salted the salsa was 🔥 so very tasty, service was friendly whole atmosphere was welcoming, small intimate spot but Mom & Pops know they way around the kitchen! I give it 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 flames! I’ll def be back to try the remainder of the menu 😋

The food is amazing and service is out of this world. They were so helpful, kind and courteous. Even went as far as making a fresh batch of pastelitos for my pregnant wife. Apart from delicious Cuban food they still have wings and burgers. Great place, I’ll definitely be going back soon!!

I love this little spot and I'm so glad I discovered it! "D" (the owner, I believe) is awesome and so is her food! Good portions at decent prices - the food is always fresh and delicious, and tastes like Cuban home-cooking. "D" is always super friendly and professional - I believe it's a family-run business and you can tell they really put their heart and soul into their cooking and service. She always ensures you're getting what you want, and that the order is done right and in a timely fashion. The atmosphere, while small, is clean and cozy - they have a few tables inside for dining and outside in the summer now as well. I lived in Florida before, so I compare this to the Cuban food I had down there, and I am never disappointed! I have my go-to foods on the menu, but I definitely plan to expand my taste-buds, and try other things on the menu too. One tip: if you want pastellitos, you have to go early, because they go fast!

I was very disappointed with this restaurant the cuban sanswich had the worst ham and the pork meat had no flavor, the lechon sandwich had very little meat. The yucca tasted sour and the arroz con gandules was hard. The worst cuban food i ever had!! You supposed to sear the ham to put it in your sandwich they just put it out of the package like that

$3 for these tiny beef empanadas. Mine was extra super greasy. I got a blob of grease on my shirt. The black beans were good. The black rice was good. The food was served warm almost cold especially the pork. We wanted to get a stuffed potato but he were not going to pay $8 for it. The menu was simple which I like but the food was not that fresh.

The young lady who takes the orders is super friendly. The food is always great. I had the chicken philly. It was super big and I couldn't finish it(pause). The rice was ok but the empanadas crazy. They hit every time. I love the spot I just wish it was a little bigger.

It was great, as it usually is. Even though the place was packed, food was still ready for pickup (15 minutes) when they said it would be. Everything was hot and fresh. Packaged well for traveling. Service was great and friendly as usual. Now if I could just get here during the day and try a Cuban coffee...

Everything was delicious. All the food was hot. Friendly staff. I ordered a Cuban coffee and she gave me 2 shots of espresso instead of one without charging more. Ordered a Cuban sandwich, ham croquettes, congris. Lechon on the sandwich was flavorful and juicy. Mom ordered a mushroom Swiss burger that came with seasoned fries. Mushrooms were fresh. Large serving for everything. Will definitely be back.

Great service. We showed up before closing and they still took care of my family. Try the guava butter and toast with cafe con leche. We had the lechon and Cubano sandwich. It was wonderful. Authentic Caribbean food. The hostess was very kind and hospitable. Thank you so much.

The loaded cheese steak fries were good and the steak nachos are the best I've ever had!!! The grilled chicken sandwich is amazing!

The food was all fantastic! We tried both beef and chicken empanadas, the papa rellena, sweet plantains, and chicken strips for the little one. My wife liked their specialty lemonade so much she had to get one to go! I got myself a coffee con leche to go and it is very good! The staff was all very friendly, and checked up on the table throughout our visit. We are already looking forward to another visit when we're back in the area. Only fifteen minutes from Midway Airport, hopefully the wait to visit again isn't long 😊
