Go back to 24/7 as originally advertised. That’s the main reason I got planet fitness to begin with, is for the 24/7 schedule. Being on overnight shift, this worked wonderful. There should be no reason that it’s not back to original hours by now.

Signed up for the classic membership 2 months ago. Was told by Kylie that I can use any planet fitness in the area except the massage chairs, tanning, and cannot bring a friend unless I pay for the black card. I have been going to McHenry PF for a while now and a couple of times in Mundelein and was never stopped until today. Kylie said I have to cancel Mundelein PF and resign up and pay annual fee again to use McHenry PF and cannot allow me to work out as a courtesy today. It’s not my fault they don’t know how to do their job and I have to pay for their failures. I don’t recommend this gym. Will be signing up to LA Fitness where a member can travel to any of their gyms including Esporta, sign up for workout classes, and use all facilities (sauna, pool) including bring a friend to work out anytime.

The staff is cool, I like the atmosphere, just wish there was a POOL. Honestly, why is there nowhere to swim in this town! and don't say the Y. Have you seen their prices? At least PL is AFFORDABLE!! Get a pool PL, get a pool. lol

Friendly staff greets you every visit.The club has a great variety of well-maintained equipment. And overall, it is clean - even with wet winter shoes. And the 30-minute Express Workout is a great option. Thanks!

I love that it's judgment free!!! Even signs saying no selfies In the bathroom.. I love that you see people all all types using the equipment and not people sitting on a machine playing on their phone. Updated equipment at a low price and terrific people at the front desk.

First time experiencing a PF, and I immediately fell in love. I’ve always heard scary stories about Planet Fitness in general, so I stayed away for YEARS. Finally, I decided to go with my brother as his guest, and that same day I got my own membership for $1 down! How cool is that?! Definitely recommend it, if you’re a beginner like myself, this is the place for you. Trust me, no one will judge you.

Very clean, staff was so helpful with using the app to check-in. The equipment was immaculate and brand new. Unlimited massages, bring a friend free & veteran discount black card 30$ Highly Recommend without reservation.

Staff is friendly and acts professionally. The place seams clean, and so far, no broken equipment.

Its a good place but I do wish there were lockers assigned to you when you first join and have a lock for it. Especially when you have your keys, wallet and gym bag on you. Not very convenient nor smart.

Normally you guys are very clean. I hope it's just a today thing, but the floors are very dirty today. There's collections of dust and dust bunnies in all corners of the 360 area. Majority of the machines are getting a dust outline around them.

I had a pretty okay experience for my first time here. My only complaint is that the members don't know that the 30 minute express workout is for 30 minute circuits and not to use for sets.

Been going here since open and worked there for a short period of time. The staff is courteous and actively works to alleviate problems with some of the more entitled members. It would be great if they could get some of the more used machines in there such as the cables and smith machines as these tend to be consistently full.

I’ve never had a bad experience there.

The Staff at Planet Fitness McHenry are super-friendly and even say goodbyeto me when I'm getting ready to leave. I like the atmosphere and well-maintained equipment. The PF Black card is the way to go with the Hyrdomassage table & chair. I look forward to using my PFBlack at multiple locations. Great value for the money. Thank you. I do wish I had a PLASTIC keychain card. Using the PFApp on my phone is a little annoying because I have to have my phone handy. The card would be a better and simpler way to go for my situation.

This place looks really clean and lots of good exercise machines, I think I'm going to enjoy joining pf,and the people who work there are very helpful.

Great gym but, it doesn’t have a lot of machine. They only have 1 bench in the stretch room and one 45°. machine. you need to buy more equipment because it’s a lot of people and most people don’t get to finish their work out

So understaffed today. They had a singular small girl running all over the place. I watched another girl ask for an application and they were told they weren’t hiring. I asked to speak to a manger and supervisor about this but there was no one. ON A SATURDAY!? Deserves no stars for the obvious harsh treatment of their employees.
