Went here for a first time with my girlfriend to celebrate our one year anniversary. We made a reservation for 4:30 and came in about ten minutes early. The staff was attentive and seated us within a couple minutes. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The restaurant gives off a sweet and cozy vibe. It seemed crowded, so if you’re thinking of going, reservations are a good idea. I had the filet mignon and my girlfriend had the shrimp scampi. The steak was phenomenal. I asked for medium rare, and it was cooked perfect. It was tasty, juicy, and tender. The mashed potatoes tasted like, well, mashed potatoes, and the broccoli was surprisingly tasty, accompanied with a hint of steak flavoring. My girlfriend said the scampi was great. The sauce was a bit watery, but not a deal-breaker. We got fresh bread before the main course, and we thought it was good. The only gripe I have is how small the loaf is. If you have a party larger than three, that bread’s going fast. Our server, Eric, was polite and came back multiple times to see if we needed anything. He seemed reasonably personable as well. Overall, we had a great time, and we will definitely be coming back.

We decided to go here for lunch. We arrived here close to 12p and the place was mostly empty. However by the time we were done eating the place was packed. It is very hard to get a table here during peak times, so timing is important if you want to get in here. Cooper Hawk has maintained their restaurant quality. The place is neat and clean with an upscale feeling. The servers are very friendly and are following the Covid protocols. The food is always good. We started with wine flight. It comes with 4 glasses of different wines. It's a great option if you are not sure which wine to get. Each glass had about 3-4oz of wine. The restaurant starts you off with hot bread with soft butter which was freshly baked. For appetizers we got Brussel sprouts which is a very flavorful. The Leonard burger comes with side of fries which were hot and tasty. Overall a good experience.

We made a reservation a day prior. When we arrived, we were seated promptly without any delays. When seated, Jonathan approaches our table within minutes. He took our orders and got our drinks accordingly. While we were waiting, Jonathan brings out a complimentary pretzel roll with a side of butter. The roll was fresh snd fluffy. It’s simple and fulfilling for our hunger. For appetizer we got the drunken shrimp I have to say it’s alright. I thought the beacon will be crispy when it merges with the shrimp to give it a crunch texture but it’s mushy like the shrimp and the flavor is over power by lime all we can taste is sourness. I wouldn’t order again and it’s not worth it. For entree my wife has the trio of medallions and I had filet mignon. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked per my request. The meat was tender and juicy. I believed it worth to pay extra for the Parmesan crust on top of that a fried shredded onions giving the filet mignon more complex texture. For dessert we had the lemon cake…??? I forgot the name but our server recommended since it’s a seasonal item. He was right it was delightful the cake was moist topped with fresh berries sauce and it’s not too sweet very suitable for my taste palette. Want to thank Jonathan for his wonderful service making this experience more pleasing.

I've been to five different Coopers Hawk restaurants throughout the years. My experiences with service have varied, but the food I have always found to be excellent. My visit to the Arlington Heights location was pleasant. Great service, nice atmosphere, but the food fell short. She ordered the Chicken Gardinera, and I had a Turkey Burger. Both were bland and lacking in flavor. One week later, my leftovers are in the fridge destined for the trash. Besides the food, our visit was perfect.

We ordered the shrimp and lobster soup which was good. For our main, Hubby loved the braised short ribs. He enjoyed it for dinner and even ordered one to go. I ordered the skirt steak with drunken shrimp which was good. Our kids ordered the classic burgers and they liked it. Our server, Boyko, was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is pretty big and clean, and with plenty of parking so we didn't need to take advantage of the complimentary valet parking which they offered the day of our visit. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back for a casual meal or an elegant outing with friends and family.

Went here for a celebratory dinner, and the food was excellent. It was a very busy Saturday night and we had a relatively new server, so the only issue was timing. Drinks took a while, and apps and dinner came back to back. I'm sure he will get it right the next time we go back. Oh, I recommend the key Lime Pie if you stay for dessert!

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Been here plenty of times ever since they opened and even have held a private event and attended a private event here as well. Amazing how this company continues to grow across Illinois, maybe a bit too much. Quality of food and service remains the same across the board. Always feel welcomed and bar area is always busy every night. Prices can be a bit competitive to other spots in the biz.

One of my favorite places to eat. Tonight I had the mahi mahi and it was fantastic. They have never disappointed, the food is amazing everytime and the wine is even better.

Our server was amazing! The food was delicious. Everyone else I was with also enjoyed their food and drink pairings. I ordered the entire Seasonal Chef Recommendations: Ahi Tuna Crudo paired with Rosé (Katie Lee Biegle), Filet Medallions & Spinach Mascarpone Ravioli and Asparagus Arugula Salad w/Brown Butter Cream and Aged Balsamic paired with Isola Del Mare, and for dessert the Banoffee Pie paired with Nightjar.

Outstanding Food, Friendly Service, and Attractive Design: A Positive Business Dinner Experience at Cooper's Hawk in Arlington Heights I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cooper's Hawk in Arlington Heights for a business dinner with colleagues, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. The service was top-notch, with very friendly staff who were always available to assist us with anything we needed. As for the food, the quality was simply outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the pretzel-covered pork chops, which were cooked to perfection and had an amazing flavor that left my taste buds wanting more. The restaurant itself had a very modern and attractive design, which added to the overall dining experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Cooper's Hawk in Arlington Heights to anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience especially in business settings. The combination of friendly service, outstanding food, and attractive design make it a must-visit restaurant.

Great food, we had the Thai Lettuce Wraps which were wonderful and a huge portion. Tortilla soup was good. Entree was a Prime Rib sandwich, which is always a treat, and did not disappoint this time. We were there for dinner, the dining room was exceptionally loud.

They were really busy when I walked in. Initially it felt like not very welcome solo guest. But once I was seated the service was very good. Their bread is soft and delicious The hisbiscus iced tea very refreashing Butternut squash gnocci is the centerpiece for me. I am not a wine person and a vegetarian still will love to visit them again. The food taste and quality is very consistent between all locations I have been to.

This place is my friends favourite restaurant in the world. He was in town for 7 days and managed to visit 7 times. The staff are consistently excellent. The wine is impressive and the food is very good. I enjoyed their alcohol free drinks with added jalapeño. The fish dishes were my favourite.

Always a great meal. Had a glass of wine at the bar. Bartender was super nice and helpful. My date and I got seated right at our reservation time. Front of house was packed with people doing wine tasting. Server has only been working a few months but was amazing. The Brussel sprouts and shrimp appetizers are a must have. The salmon is always delicious. I’d give it 5 stars but we ordered it without the glaze and it came out with glaze. The jambalaya is and interesting change of pace on the menu. Go for it.

Make a reservation in advance because this place is VERY busy! Delicious food, upbeat atmosphere- always loud and packed on the weekends. Their staff are so helpful and accommodating. We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday dinner here and it went very well. We brought our own cake and they kept it refrigerated for us as a courtesy. Thanks for helping to make our event special!

The ambiance is nice and cozy and perfect for that special occasion. Amazing for group visits too. The staff is welcoming and the service spot on. Coming to the food, they have some decent vegetarian options. Meat obviously the menu is huge. We ordered the butternut squash gnocchi and the vegetarian enchiladas. Flavorful and delicious. Portion size is sufficient too. Little higher on the rate card but worth it for those special times. I will definitely visit them again.

To be fair, my review is a solid 3.5 stars - right between a 3 and a 4. I stopped in after work a couple of weeks ago and ordered the soup & salad combo plus the seasonal summer berry shortcake. First, my server was lovely. However, it took 15 minutes to get my drink - a diet coke. She told me the bar was extremely busy and I get it but 15 minutes for a soft drink with no checking in to let me know, especially for a $30 dinner, isn't great. The soup and salad were good as usual - in fact, the tortilla soup was outstanding! The shortcake, however, was underwhelming. The fruit itself was fine but the shortcake was heavy and bland. I'd recently heard in culinary news that climate change is having a big, negative impact on commercial flour (bakeries having to throw out large batches of menu items that just aren't tasting good, etc.) so I wonder if that had something to do with it. I mean, I ate the fruit and the creme, then took one bite of the shortcake and decided I was done. I'll try and come back sometime but I'm not in a huge hurry.

server was good. Ordered Dana’s parm crusted chicken, one piece was cooked great but the other was raw. Wasn’t able to find my server for quite some time (it was a busy Saturday, I understand) by the time she did come around, it was to offer boxes.

My 2nd time visiting this place and was a great experience again. Like the ambiance and the upscale feeling. Highly recommend for a business setting, date night, family celebration dinner, night out with friends, etc.

The experience was not the best. Our table ordered 3 Dana's Parmesan- Crusted chickens. The bottom was burnt on all 3 orders.. Very disappointing that the chef could send out 3 bottom burnt chicken plates. The bottom was hard. I was not able to easily cut to the bottom to slice it. See photo of a piece of the bottom burnt chicken in the pic below. I've had chicken Parmesan numerous times at the Downers Grove location. It's always been served superbly, which is why I highly recommended this dish to my friends.

Came here for my girlfriend and I’s one year anniversary. Reserved a table for two at 4:30. We ended up getting there a little earlier and the staff seated us after a short while. Our waiter, Eric, was personable, friendly, and attentive. I has the filet mignon, medium rare, which was cooked to perfection. Crusty on the outside, and the middle just melted in my mouth like butter. The broccoli collected some flavoring from the steak and tasted great, despite me not being a big fan it. The mashed potatoes were excellent. Creamy and full of flavor. Not too salty, it was just right. My girlfriend had the shrimp scampi and she told me it was incredible. I’ve added photos of our meal. Will definitely be back at this location again.

Went to eat last night to celebrate my brother's birthday. There were 4 of us. We got an appetizer, 4 entrees, a bottle of wine, and dessert. Walked away with a $200 bill and were not overly impressed. I saw a crab risotto dish on the specials so I asked if they used arborio rice because if not I would order something else. The waitress asked the chef, who responded that it's not arborio but I would not notice a difference. Well they finally brought the food and sure enough, it was regular rice, not arborio, and everyone at the table tried it and agreed. The rice was also not fully cooked and chewy, and the veggies in the rice could have used a bit more cook time too. I told the waitress the chef lied, I did notice. But I didn't want to send it back and wait for them to cook something else, and they did have real crab on the top. But she didn't do anything and I paid $35 for some undercooked regular rice. Very disappointed. My sister ordered the butternut squash gnocchi which had only a butternut glaze and no chunks of squash. Disappointed. Then came dessert, we ordered the special lemon cake with blueberry sauce, and I thought it was good, but much more blueberry than lemon, and the cake was so overcooked it caramelized and was chewy. We didn't finish it. And we would not have ordered dessert if we knew they would bring something for my brother's birthday, which they did and he took home. The wine was good. But all 4 of us agree, they should know the types of rice and the dishes should be better for the high prices they charge. This was my 3rd visit and I haven't been impressed any time.
