Been coming here for over a decade! Everything is great, salads and labrettis are my favorite. Coffee and pastries are a must as well. Not a fan of the cheesecake but everything else is amazing.

A really excellent local coffee shop with fantastic coffee and pastry. Everyone was very helpful. The place was packed, but the service kept moving quickly. Everything tastes fresh and I'd like to come back to try the food as well.

This place has a great atmosphere and the people here were very nice. The coffee and food here is also very good! I know I’ll be coming back here to stop in for some more coffee for sure! They have a great selection of sweets here too!

The food and coffee are amazing, however, the staff could use more Courtesy. I like supporting local businesses but honestly, Starbucks has better staff members and they always treat you kindly. The customer experience has to count also. Giving customers an attitude or making them feel unwelcome is not good for business.

My 2 friends and I met up here. Plenty of options for treats, food and drinks on the menu. Love the inner atmosphere and vibe. Plenty of Sugar Free Options that I was not expecting. We will definitely be going back!

I always get my "Tommy Club Sub" and a bag of chips. Oh and of course a big frosting monster cookie. Best food ever. The sandwiches never disappoint. Favorite brunch stop. I love sandwiches and I will never stop talking about Somethings Brewing's amazing sandwiches and food!! (Adorable desserts too!) Picture below: Monster Cookie with so much frosting!!! So cute!!!

Such a cute coffee shop with pastries, sweets and GREAT food. I love the breakfast food and the wraps. Specialty coffees are delicious. I often find myself dreaming of thier Spinach Dip. My only compalint is that the food takes forever to come out even when you call it in sometimes. So if you are stopping by make sure that you have the time to wait.

The people were lovely. The menu is amazing. And the food was delicious. My favorite part is they had several varieties of tea then you can get it hot or iced.

The place is very cozy and the food was good. Too bad the owner (apparently) is not friendly at all, she makes a difference in how she treats customers because of their place of origin/race. Since I arrived I greeted and she did not answer me. We stayed to see if she behaved the same way with all of the clients but she didn't. I will never come back there.

By far one of the cutest and best coffee shops I’ve been too! Their menu is never ending, you can literally order something new everyday and it would take you months to try everything. The staff are great too. I’d highly recommend the apple pie latte (iced) or the London fog with vanilla syrup! The Asiago bagel is pretty great too!!

This was a very cute coffee shop. I got a caramel latte a muffin a bagel and a polish pastry. The bagel was really good however i will say the topping was a bit salty. Highly recommend if im ever back in the area i will stop by again.

Absolutely adorable coffee and bakery shop with unique gifts and things to buy that I haven't seen anywhere else. My espresso was delicious and smooth, pulled from nice medium roast beans. They also have really good croissants. The seating is little a tight but chairs are plentiful and outdoor seating is available as well. The Wi-Fi is fast as well, overall it's a nice place to hang out.

The staff are super friendly and the food and baked goods make this way more than just a coffee shop. Love when I find a neighborhood gem where I can get a great beverage and a great meal.

Great food, great decor. Overwhelming chalkboard menus take some time to choose your meal, which is a little tough with picky kids, but the tasty food and atmosphere more than made up for the hassle. Was our first trip there but definitely won't be our last!

A wonderful, cozy little cafe serving high quality treats, beverages, and more.

  • 3/5 Katu M. 1 year ago on Google
Incredibly charming place, great service, expansive menu. We ordered 2 pastries - key lime pie was a bit bland, cinnamon roll was so stale that it was crunchy. We both also ordered toffee iced lattes, but unfortunately the coffee was very weak & not particularly toffee-flavored. Prices are on the high side as well, considering quality. However, I'd still give them a shot if you're on the fence - maybe we got unlucky.

It’s a cute shop but I’d say their food is kinda mediocre, aside from the pasta salad which is incredible. Today I placed an online order and paid in advance. When I got to the store there was a long line so I got a workers attention and asked if I had to wait in line for an online order pickup. The girl just said “yes you do” with no explanation or apology. That literally defeats the purpose of ordering online?!? And I ordered a hot sandwich so it was just sitting on the counter getting cold. There are way too many other places to go with way nicer employees and better food tbh. It’s a shame because I love a local business & this place could be so adorable. Never going back

The drink I got which I believe was an iced mocha coconut and almond was delicious and definitely unique. If you have ever been to a Dutch bros and like the cocomo I definitely recommend trying it out. On the other hand I was not greeted by the staff or offered help until I asked for it myself, in hindsight it’s not a big deal but it did alter my perception of the shop. The two girls continued to gossip as well while doing duties, not an issue but some may find it unprofessional. The atmosphere was cozy, a little cluttered but it is a part of the vibe, I think more seating would be great and also wish the menu was done differently because it is slightly overwhelming. Great experience overall, recommend if you are in the area!

Over $11 for a plain grilled cheese sandwich? The side pasta was tiny but very nice, but this was Just. A. Grilled. Cheese. Sandwich.

Way too long of a wait, 30plus mins. They did however make it up with their deliciousness drinks while we waited. First time and in my opinion it’s overrated. However salad was AWESOME! Labretti was a huge serving and great taste Highly Recommend! Thanks Something’s Brewing team for lunch😕

Great dark roast option when I went. The pastry selection is pure heaven. The cinnamon bun and banana pudding muffin are glorious.

I usually try one of their "coffees of the day", which is usually between three different choices. Have also ordered lunch items here. Their menu is full of goodies, along with a big selection of premade items, like muffins. A great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch, and a good place to meet with friends. Seating at tables both inside and outside are available.

Nice little place to have coffee and a bite to eat. A large list of sandwiches and meals that can be made to order. A large selection of delicious baked items. I will definitely be coming back!

I visited this café for the first time earlier today and i was so pleased! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the options are fantastic in terms of food and drink and the staff are generally so amazing! I had one of the staff help me (she said her name was Sofia), and she was absolutely so sweet and kind to me. She helped me get setup on the internet, and helped me navigate the menu. I noticed that the older lady training her was a little rude to the other staff, but maybe she had an off day. Overall I had a great experience. I would definitely come back.

Interacting with an iPad to place my order would’ve been a better experience… No hello, no acknowledgement whatsoever, me and another customer stood there in line as the two young girls working the front finished their very important friendly banter. I don’t know if the girl taking my order wasn’t paying attention or the girl who made my latte, but I specifically asked for “sugar free vanilla” because I’m a Type 1 Diabetic. Anywho, I got my drink and went on my way. An hour later and my blood sugar shot up BY 200+, and that was only half of the drink!!! This could’ve possibly sent me to the hospital if I drank the whole thing in one go..

Great local cafe. The menu is huge (as are the portions) so there's something for everyone. Wide array of sweets including this cookie from the peak of Tiger King fever.

I like the coffee and the decor, but I have yet to experience pleasant customer service there. I would come here way more often, but make a point to avoid due to incredibly unfriendly customer service. Its not that hard to smile and greet a customer...is it?

  • 1/5 Kathryn D. 3 years ago on Google
I walked in looking for a gift for some of my clients. The woman at the register stared at me blankly as I described that I was looking for cookies. She called another employee over who told me multiple times that she'd "need to make a call" to see if she could have that many ready for me. Ok, no problem... But she never made the call and no one recommended any sort of alternative for the quantity I was seeking. I was hoping to support a local business and unfortunately these employees just couldn't execute a sale. I will not bother with this place again - completely incompetent, unwelcoming and rude staff. The nicest thing I heard was the sarcastic "have a nice day" on my way out, empty-handed. On the flip side, Marianos' bakery was more than happy to help me. .

The variety of coffee blends here is amazing! There is a blend here for almost any taste and they serve an extensive list of soups, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of baked goods. However, their vegan options are limited and they carry two kinds of non-dairy milk (soy and almond).

Never again will I go to this coffee place. I try and go to local and now I see why I rather go to Starbucks. The lady that was working when I went was not friendly, she did not say welcome in or even hi. She saw me standing there at her crowded chalk board menu and could of asked if I needed help since it was my first time. Then at the check out when my husband asked if I wanted any food I said no and she rolled her eyes. Lady if you want customers to come back you definitely should act differently.

Cozy, comfortable and a great selection of muffins, cookies, sweet treats and breakfast meals! I had the blueberry muffin (delicious!) and an almond milk latte. My friend had a breakfast and said the potatoes are really great. To keep people safe, they are limiting the number of guests and allowing a sat of 30 - 40 minutes. The employees wore masks and gloves. Very nice place. I will be back.

Unfortunately I won’t be coming here for my coffee anymore. Time after time with even different baristas... My drink order is wrong. They don’t write it down & make it off the top of their head. Adding whip cream when I said no, giving me different sizes and so much as getting a hot drink when I asked for Iced. Also I feel bad asking for my correct drink I ordered, a lot of the time I just leave with it. A mistake is a mistake but when it happens once or twice it’s whatever but they have been getting my drink order wrong every time which means they are careless and too much out of their way to correctly write down someone’s order which rubs me the wrong way. Seems unprofessional giving that the prices are a little more expensive.

This place has left me even harder to please as other places don't seem to measure up on variety, quality of ingredients or service. If I am driving through Grayslake I'm stopping in for coffee, breakfast, lunch, a refreshing beverage, a snack or treat!
