First time visit was on Cinco de Mayo, so of course they were busy. However my daughter and I were able to walk in and get sat right away. They were running a guacamole special for $3.99 so we got 2 orders thinking it might be small. Wrong! Large bowl with a side of home made chips. I ordered a lengua quesadilla and my daughter had a beef quesadilla. They offer 3 grades of salsa: mild, medium green and a firey red. I mixed a little bit of everything and it had delicious flavor. I was stuffed by the time I finished my order, but had to order the flan for dessert which was homemade that morning. Very affordable price for the amount of food. Will definitely be coming back to try again.

Great Mexican restaurant with authentic flavors (went with Mexican friends). Everything was fresh and service was great. This is now my favorite Mexican place. 12/3- had their fried red snapper (whole fish) and it was awesome. Favorite dishes from now on

I miss the original owners of this place. Granted they sold to these individuals 8 years or so ago give or take. Out of all the Mexican food in Grayslake this is the worse quality of the lot. Their steak and pork have fatty/gristled pieces. Most times you have to spit it out. I've found hair in my food. The last 3 times I ordered take out, I found a long strand of hair twice in the taco salad. I wish this place had more consistency.

Huge amount of steak in our steak taco salads!! Excellent amount of guacamole, sour cream and cheese too!! Very nice and friendly staff. Here again a few weeks later... Same as before...everything is wonderful! Server is a delightful friendly woman.

This place has the best cow tongue!! It may not be for everybody it's an acquired taste.

Everyone was absolutely right when they stated this establishment had great customer service! The lady at the front was soooo nice over the phone and in person she deserves a 5/5!the food was good, I received a burrito suizo and the flavors were great, sauce was a little sweeter than others I’ve had in the past. My partner ordered a combination dinner and it was okay, however, the portions were very small.

The first Mexican restaurant that really feels exotic. The food taste like I've never tasted before, it's very different from other Mexican restaurant. The the service was stellar; the server was attentive, knowledgeable and suggest what's popular when you ask for it. The atmosphere is what really got me, unlike other restaurant, it feels foreign. They have museum grade displays and at the same time a festive ambiance.

Ordered one pound of barbacoa and the meat was 75% fat and the portion was half of what I ordered. When I went to call the restaurant, I was hung up on repeatedly.

Discovered this place when I moved to Grayslake. Delicious food and great service. Guacamole is amazing!

Relaxing outdoor patio area. Great specials and pricing on beers. Fried mushrooms were the best we've had any where thus far hands down.

Very nice clean restaurant. Food was amazingly delicious! Fresh and good portions.( Shrimp coctel has more than 4 shrimp 🙌🏻) The Flan per my son was fire. They have buñuelos and fried ice cream which you rarely see in a Mexican restaurant. 100% recommended and we will definitely be going back again!

So wonderful! I ordered through UberEats and each item was absolutely perfect! Tacos were warm and savory, chips were flakey and crisp, but here's the best part: I got a new job today and wanted to celebrate. So I ordered fried ice cream - it was amazing! Crunchy, cold, creamy! It was everything fried ice cream should be. 100% this dinner made my day/night. Covid sucks but this place is off the hook!

Food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. Awesome guacamole! First time trying this place and it was a real great find. Everything was hot and fresh. This is a treasure. Steak burrito was loaded with fresh steak and cooked perfectly. Update: been here several times now. Still 👍.

I usually prefer spicy pozole but since I’m pregnant I’m very sensitive to spices. I called before ordering to see if their pozole had been made too spicy today and customer service assured me it wasn’t. I order delivery and I’m very happy with the pozole I received. It was delicious!!! Thank you! I was a first time customer and I will be ordering again soon!

Loved this place! Another plus is that it's a woman owned business and she was in the back cooking! Pretty cool! But the place is cozy small. And really tasty tacos. The best beans I've had. My boys (3 and 1) loved that their salsa wasn't spicy at all! I would definitely recommend and come back!
