This was one of my favorites but after my experience tonight I will never return. Our waiter, supposedly the manager, was extremely rude. ZERO customer service. I asked to sit at a table that seats 4 and was told no, those tables are only for parties of 4. Normally that would make sense but we were the only people in the restaurant. Every other table was empty. Second, the music was extremely loud. I asked if it could be turned down a little. Once again the answer was no, the response was “she (the owner) likes people to her the music when they walk in”. What??? What about a customer that is already here? Do my mom and I not count? As such, I asked to speak to “her” (the owner), imagine my surprise I was told she just stepped out. If that is how a manger is trained Expect POOR customer service. Completely unacceptable!!!!!

Very good food and a great drink selection. I had the Vacío Sandwich and the Quilmes beer. I will probably come back to try the pizza.

Loved it here! We showed up on a Saturday with no reservation, and they were kind enough to accommodate us outside even though they weren't technically seating people out there. The food was fantastic and the waiter was kind and attentive. Will definitely be back.

So disappointing! Went to celebrate my birthday and they were out of the first entre (Milanesa) on the menu (our choice). The waiter didn't even wait to hear all our order and didn't even ask what we wanted to drink! New owners lost our business! Expensive without satisfaction!

Called to ask for wait time, they acted as if they are very busy, and asked to make reservations. We were there in 20min. When we checked in, the restaurant was empty, one table outdoors and one table inside was occupied. Ambiance is fine. Very clean Bread sticks - fresh and very soft. Salad- the best thing to have there. Very well made. Only reason if i visit again Pizza- bland, and extremely cheesy.

New name, same good food and friendly staff. They have a nice variety of menu items and one of my favorite pizzas in town! A nice spot for a romantic outing with your significant other, a meal with the family or just have a good time with friends.

We've been meaning to try this local Argentinean restaurant, and glad we finally did! We arrived shortly after they opened, and there were already a couple of tables enjoying dinner. By the time we left, the restaurant was full. Good sign! My wife ordered and enjoyed her seafood pasta dish. I initially ordered Beef Bourguignon and was informed it was only available during Winter so I went with tenderloin which was delicious. Forgot to mention, our server brought out warm bread with butter which we thoroughly enjoyed. Main entrees were portioned generously and we were full by the end of dinner. See photos of menus on which I highlighted our selections. Decor was appropriately themed with comfortable atmosphere. Two dinner entrees, a couple of imported beers (Argentinean & Spanish), and a Coke brought the total bill to $117 ($97+$20 gratuity) so about average to good value. Server was very busy taking care of all tables, and maintained his friendliness from greeting to end. We're looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu.

Cool places in downtown palatine. If you like meat, this is the place to go. Meat platter was more than enough for 2 people

Terrific, small, independent local restaurant. Service and food 1st class - the char-grilled steaks were delicious. It’s obvious why this place is so popular, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

First time dining here. The food was very good. Portions on small side. $5 for a fountain drink? Let’s talk about off putting/cash grab. I get that costs have gone up on food, but there is no way this is appropriate for such a casual restaurant. Service was cold… plates left uncleared from table, no refills offered especially on those $5 fountain drinks!!! Felt like we were a nuisance for being there. Overall, not terribly impressed… and not much of a draw to return anytime in near future.

Uniquely prepared meats and other dishes. Quaint setting. Nice outdoor seating area when weather permits. The starter/appetizer 'Choripan con Salsa Criolla' was the highlight of the entire dinner. Beautifully presented for a traditional street food, taste and textures were absolutely sublime. Would go back for that. My Chimichurri steak was flavorful but kinda tough. The Chimichurri sauce was delicious, I wanted more than a dollop. Sides were grilled veggies and potatoes. Very good. Many 'to go' orders were exiting with pizzas, so maybe try that as well? Also, it looked like this restaurant is well supported by locals, which is a good sign. Service was friendly but a bit slow. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a problem. Beer/Wine choices only. Credit accepted.

First time dining here. Everything we ordered was delicious. The empanadas are amazing. The seafood dish was fingerlicking good. The steak melted in our mouth. Their wine selection is great. Can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

Spinach and cheese empanadas were amazing. Crust was flaky and very tasty. Pot roast was very good. High portion. Tilapia with nut sauce was flaky and delicious.

We had a nice dinner at Bendita Cocina to celebrate a special occasion. Our server was excellent. The serving size was plentiful. We chicken, sausage and three types of beef. All the food was good, with one type of beef being exceptionally tasty. The decor was pleasant. The bathrooms were on the cold side. Expect $25 to $40 per person.

Our first meal at Bendita Cocina was a feast for the senses! We enjoyed scallops, paella, and chimichurri steak, all of which were delicious and flavorful. The fresh, roasted vegetables were fantastic, and the wine selection was extensive. The service was helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will gladly make the trek out to Bendita Cocina again soon!

Stopped in for a quick meal with mom and the food was amazing. We ordered the bruschetta with sausage, bacon wrapped honey scallops, a spinach and cheese empanada, chicken empanada, and a flan. Each dish was better than the next. The scallops were definitely my favorite. Everything came out extremely quickly and service was excellent. Would recommend for anyone looking for a high class meal with amazing flavor at a lower cost.

Eh food is good but pricey. I paid $32 for a salad and THIN salmon fillet. Maybe 4oz at most? More like 3 oz. Not worth the cost I think.

Was craving for empanadas and found this little joint near me. Empanadas was not to my liking but I will most definitely go back for the main meals. The salmon dinner was on point with the vegetables and mash potatoes. Home cooked food is always the best… especially at a restaurant. Server was great and I will be going back to try other dishes they have.

First time I went there with a friend the empanadas were good and had a beer. Second time I went there with another friend, she had bugs in her drink. The waiter didn't seem particularly surprised and still put the drink on the bill before she asked to have it taken off. Wouldn't go back because the bugs in the drink make me question the rest of the food now.

Really enjoyed the "homemade taste/nature" of their cooking. The Sangria was exceptional, food was delicious, not overly seasoned or salted. Had a wonderful meal and will be going back again soon
