This place is SO GOOD. We’ve been to Italy, rented a car and drove from Venice to south of Naples, eating everything in sight. We love good Italian food and this place didn’t disappoint. Lots of love put into the quality of ingredients and the place is just super cute. We’ll be back. ❤️‍🔥

Clean restaurant, very friendly, and lots of parking for the size of the store. Sample Sweets were delightful, moist and tasty. Cookies and sweets are $15/lb and they also had quite a lot of options as seen in the pictures. Philly Cheese Steak: Fresh steak, flavorful, not dry at all, cheesy melt on top is wonderful, and amazingly soft and tasty bread. $10.25 for the sandwich and side. Bagel Chips and Spinach Dip: Amazing chips, soft and seasoned with a crunch at the edges. The dip is quite good, very comparable to a nice sit down restaurant, tastes like it's made in house. Pasta Salad: Flavorful, refreshing, good complement to the Luciano sandwich Luciano Pavarottti: Good harmony of flavors, well constructed and easy to eat, feels fresh and handmade. $9.25 for the panini and side. Overall, we plan to come back since it ends up costing the same as fast food for us and the quality is so much higher obviously! Update 10/29/22: Food was less great this time, not bad, but received an entirely different sandwich after the bag was double checked.

Wonderful food and very authentic.. Amazing customer service and prices are very reasonable for such a cute little cafe. They have tables to dine outside that is very quiet and nice plants all around. The baked good are great.

Stopped in for lunch today for the first time and ordered the sausage and peppers grinder. The sandwich was awesome and the lady at the counter was super friendly. She helped me pick out a few sweets as well which were also great. Definitely coming again.

Only stopped in for some desserts but the cannoli was one of my favorites ever! They’re all reasonably priced for being home made and delicious. I do wish the window had labels of what things were but the woman who helped us was nice enough to explain everything. They also have olive oil imported from Italy that you can buy! Definitely a recommendation.

Took a visit to this small local Italian restaurant. We decided to eat outdoors, the weather was too perfect to eat indoors. Service was very quick and our waitress was very welcoming and nice. We were served garlic bread as a complementary appetizer and it was perfect. A nice crispy exterior with the nice sponginess interior. Perfect amount of garlic and char to the toast. We went with the bruschetta as our appetizer and it was very flavorful and refreshing. I went with the Andrea Bocelli Chicken & Cheddar Panini while my girlfriend chose the Luciano Pavarotti Chicken Pesto panini both were very tasty and had a nice quality cheese. Ingredients seemed fresh and had a nice crunch to the bite. During our meal they had a live performance by a local guitarist supplying a nice ambiance sound to our dinner. Experience was excellent and can’t wait to visit again.

I stopped here for the first time today! I ordered the meatball sandwich and it was probably the best meatball sandwich I have ever had. I wish I would have ate it there though. It was absolutely amazing! Friendly staff. Clean establishment. And if you want some tasty treats they have MANY! AAA+++

The pretty lady running the shop is so kind and patient. She runs the entire front on her own and does very well at it. I called in for their soup of the day and it was a deliciously sweet tomatoe and basil. I asked for croutons and she gave me two slices of fresh toast in place.

The wife and I stopped by for lunch today. I had the opportunity to speak with Lauretta who is quite a wonderful person. The atmosphere reminded me of an Italian contemporary farmhouse. Food was amazing, we had the Pesto Chicken Panini and Cuban Panini. Their pastry selection was immense. We ate inside, but there was outdoor seating as well. I would encourage you to checkout Lauretta's kitchen when you get a chance.

Unfortunately the soup, chicken tenders and chicken sandwich were a bust. Nth tasted fresh and the chicken was too small for the buns. The fettuccine was actually good so I enjoyed that.

I was expecting better pizzas… pastries are good tho! We came here seeking for a mind losing pizza. Ordered to take away since we live very close to this place and threw in some cookies and cakes. Dessert was pretty good, but the pizza was kind of disappointing. Specially since they have so much competition near by. I was hoping to find my next best place for a quick pizza when craving for it, but not the case. I will though come back for some cakes and cookies, although, for this, they also have strong competition nearby.

The fig and goat cheese panini is AMAZING! The ratio of cheese to fig is perfect. Cute area to sit outside, private from the traffic and well decorated. You can see they grow their own herbs and can taste the difference. Great little spot! They also sell pastries: some decadent and some simple, but all are perfect for whatever your tastebuds are seeking. Highly recommend!

I picked up a catering order for a friend's party. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a large variety of pasta that was fabulous. I bought some of their cookies to bring and they were a hit. So yummy. I also bought an eclair to bring home after the party and it was so delicious.

I’ve lived in Grayslake for 19 years and just found this gem! So good. I grew up with an Italian family and this is good food and pastries. Highly recommend trying it! Not a huge place so order ahead or sit outside.

We stopped by Lauretta's for the first time today and can highly recommend. Based on other reviews we tried the meatball grinder and it did not disappoint! The marinara had a nice tang and the meatballs are definitely homemade and delicious. Pistachio cake ended the meal, and anyone who loves tres leche cake will love this. Can't wait to go back to try pizza and more desserts. Great friendly service and a beautiful patio.

SIMPLY DELICIOUS. Authentic, homemade cuisine. Tomato basil soup was out of this world! Minestrone was amazing, the broth was nice and rich. I had Lauretta's house salad and the banana poppyseed dressing was such a delicious surprise! My son eagerly wolfed down the spinach and cheese ravioli and the sauce was luscious! He quickly mopped that up with the lightly toasted bread they bring with the soup. The staff was so friendly and attentive, too! Thank you, Lucy and Mackenzie!

We've eaten here twice and it's excellent. Fantastic eggplant, pastas, salad, tiramisu, and cookies. We plan to try their pizza next! The 4 star review is because the minestrone soup was slightly disappointing. Again, I highly recommend Lauretta's.

Lauretta's is a cute little Cafe with excellent food and friendly people. And their baked goods are to die for! However, the dining area is very small and the seats (at least for us old ladies) were uncomfortable - barely room for our bottoms. I would love to go back, but may just order out.

This is the best NY Style pizza in the area. There is nothing that comes close. I don't know how they did it, but they figured out that balance of flavors you really only taste in NY.
