Went here for the first time, and it was amazing. What a professional staff! The attention to detail is perfect. Our server, Michelle was just wonderful. We celebrated our anniversary and they gave us champagne and dessert. Will certainly go back...

This was overall the best customer service I ever experienced, my server was Giovanni and he was so kind and patient knowing it was my first time dining at Capital Grille! The food was delicious I will rate my experience 15/10!! I’m definitely coming back, you guys helped me bring my 21st birthday in the right way. Thank you!

Truly classy passionate and well presented. From the food to the customer service here is to die for. Had a great time to have a lovely dinner with a well prepared Ribeye steak, deliciously put together Mac and cheese that’ll have you asking for seconds and fried calamari that’s just put so well together with peppers. Come here for dinner on a regular night and Capital Grille will make the experience feel like an anniversary. The atmosphere is just so relaxing. Definitely come here to treat yourself.

One of the best steakhouses in the area. Exceptional service. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We had a great dinner. Can improve slightly on the plate presentation like the location in Rosemont - which also has a better interior.

One of the best restaurants you will ever go to! Well this restaurant has amazing food, their service is even better. Our waiter, Luis, was amazing tonight! Don’t forget to get the crème brûlée and the coconut cream pie.

Victoria waited on us on 9/5. She learned it was my parents’ first and that my Aunt and Uncle were visiting from the Philippines. She made great recommendations without being pushy. She was hospitable. Service was in point. The kitchen did an amazing job with the food. The kitchen and Victoria pulled out all the stops and treating us to special desserts. Thank you for making our lunch memorable!

Stellar, attentive, relaxing / not over bearing thanks to Veronica and Enrique. Food? Perfect…balanced, unique, exactly to order, makes you want more. Came here on a Friday night to celebrate our first night Chicago. This upscale restaurant is perfect for any type of celebration 🎊 and if you are into wines and dry aged meat, you can’t miss this place. We ordered calamari, tuna tartar to start and had a dry aged NY strip for main (with Brussels sprouts) and finished off with a cheesecake with berries. The waiter recommended calamari as their most popular appetizer, however I found it a bit too oily. Would have been better if they let the frying oil drained a bit longer. The tuna tartar was fresh and delicious. It was served with avocado 🥑 I would recommend it. The dry aged steak was great also. We had one to share as the portion is quite generous for us. The dessert was a bit let down in my opinion as they put a bit too much sugar in the cheese cake itself. However, I understand people’s tastes are different. Overall I think this place is great for special occasions. Ps the service was impeccable as you would expect.

Just fantastic. I went with my fiancé and it is such a nice place. Nice music, the service was great. Our waitress took care of us and she would come every time to our table to check if we would need anything else. Very good music and the food just awesome.

The Capital Grille is undoubtedly one of five best restaurants I've been to! The food is spectacular, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is wonderfully romantic! Also, I truly recommend our server, Rita. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, she made us feel welcome. She passionately talked about all different wines and the food. She is so sweet and knowledgeable! Anyway, Rita made us some suggestions,and we listened to her - we ordered the NY strip, and the fillet mignon alongside the calamari appetizer,and later some dessert. The entrées were out-of-this-world! The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection! We loved the side of mashed potatoes! The only thing that could have been improved was the garnish...Other than that, pure perfection! For dessert, Rita brought us a creme brulee cheesecake and a flourless chocolate cake - let me tell you.. they were both scrumptious! The visit to the Capital Grille was a huge success, and we will definitely go back there for a date night!

Went to celebrate my birthday and they did not disappoint! The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, we had the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts as the sides and those were delicious too! I especially liked how they thick cut into cubes their bacon. They even surprised me with a complimentary dessert for my birthday! Top tier service. Will definitely come back again!

I can only rate on service and atmosphere because we had to leave before ordering. I was treating my son and myself to lunch after an event. It was a very hot day and we had been active for hours. As soon as we sat down, my son felt overheated from the day and wanted to leave. I explained this to a member of the staff and she insisted on getting my son a cold bottle of water before we left. It was so thoughtful and unexpected. We were sorry to leave (especially me - the menu looked fabulous), but will be back before the summer is over.

Was looking forward to the dry aged 14oz NY Strip steak as Im a big steak lover.. It was good but not as great as I had thought it would be. I was expecting more flavor. It was reasonably tender and cooked well. A shame that the server was very robotic and didn't smile even once... but did check back "in passing". The mashed potatoes were actually a puree but did have a nice creamy smooth texture and good flavor. I think I liked them more than the steak. Overall good but somewhat disappointing.

Food and service were exceptional. Went in to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we were blown away by the service and the attention to detail. Alvaro S was our server and he did an outstanding job during our dinner. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. We would highly recommended to anyone looking for that perfect dinner

Went for our 8th anniversary. The food was great. They had a specially made table for us. Very romantic and wonderful experience.

This was my first time here and I will admit, it was a nice place. Good service for the most part. The food on the other hand was pretty average. The streak lacked flavor. The brussel sprouts were pretty good. The mashed potatoes were average also. Not worth the price.

The service was hands down thee best I've had in a while. So courteous, so kind and they constantly came to check on us. We visited the restaurant for my husband's birthday and we cannot say enough great things about this place. The food was decadent and the servings were enough for at minimum two very hungry people. We each ordered a steak and you must try the shallot butter on the side...AMAZING! For sides we had mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, and lobster mac and cheese which were all amazing. 10/10 on service, food, and atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again!

Everything was excellent at Capital Grille... The setting, the service (thanks to Giovanni), the bread basket, the menu, and most importantly, the food. I had the Shrimp Cocktail followed by the Lamb Chops, and both were first class. Our dinner (2 courses with one glass of wine) for 2 persons cost US$270 (less tip), so not cheap. But a very enjoyable meal.

My recent visit to The Capital Grille was work related. We had a private room with a predetermined menu. Our service staff was perfect and very attentive. The calamari is different than the average appetizer you get from other restaurants. It is tasty and has a little heat. The bread choices were fresh. I especially liked the savory stuffed prosciutto. Who knows what magic the salad was covered in but it was a favorite at our table. The mashed potatoes are heavy but good. The asparagus was pleasantly seasoned with lemon. My bone in steak cooked to medium was great. I prefer a ribeye, but for a strip steak, this was excellent. I could see the servers took pride in providing us with prime food to nosh on. Thank you!

Good steak, calamari, crab cake , soups, desert, cocktails and decent size list of wines. Also service was amazing. Carlos was superb! We will be back.

Paige and Rita are hands down two of the best when it comes to service and breaking the ice when it comes to ordering. Amazing service and the remainder of the staff is very very very attentive in terms of making sure your dining area remains cleaned and undisturbed by their presence. Good selection is always fantastic and is prepared to your liking without any issues. I suggest their lobster bisque with sherry added to it, and hats off to their mixologists behind the bar. Excellent beverages and fantastic flavors for each type. I would absolutely recommend this location for business lunches, celebrations, birthdays, and even the occasional date night out!

The food and service were excellent. The bar was a bit slow pushing out the cocktail for a moment (Saturday evening), but other than that, our server and the supporting staff were top-notch.
