Went to this Argentine place the other day with my wife and son. They took forever to get us some drinks and menus even though we were the only ones in the restaurant (were there at 5pm). Our server was good in the end but the nightmare started when they brought us our food… We ordered two medium rare pichanyas and one piece on the plate was good but the other one was well done. When I pay 30 dollars for a steak I would expect it to be done accurately or I would ask to get another one. We asked to remake one of them and asked to keep one of them so that we can start our meal. But they wouldn’t let us keep just one and insisted on taking both back to the chef. We said ok and waited. Next the supervisor came running trying to prove to us that steaks are ok and shining his phone on them. Never had this experience in any fine dining places! They argued with us for about five minutes at which point steaks got cold and we didn’t want to make a fuss anymore and asked to keep the steaks and leave us alone. Then through the night supervisor came and then a manager came asking us to recite what happened again and again. We said we don’t want to deal with this issue any longer but the just kept bothering us while we were eating. In the end we ended up paying for all the food we got, had disruptive night, and a horrible experience! My 16 month old cried at one point when the manager came for the third time and we had to tell the story again and again. Why do you keep coming to our table if you are not going to do anything about it? Did not replace the steak, did not take it off the bill, or offered anything else. Just kept nagging us. I am attaching pictures of the steak. You be the judge if it’s medium rare or not.

I do not recommend this place for date night. Last night, my husband and I went for our Valentine’s dinner. We had a reservation at 9pm and arrived at 8:45. We were given our table at 8:52pm and waited about thirty minutes to order. Since it was Valentine’s Day, we anticipated there will be a wait. However, there were people that were sat AFTER us and servers took their orders BEFORE us. As my husband and I had conversation, we realized the staff had forgotten about us. I had to tell a food runner to please send a server. A minute after, a friendly server name Felix came up to us and said he realized no one was helping us. He apologized saying there was an error with the servers and what table they were assigned to. Felix was attentive the rest of the night. The food and drinks were good for the price. We paid over $130 and tipped 20 percent. For that amount of money, the experience should have been better. Unfortunately, the thirty minute wait to order WITH A RESERVATION was disappointing. Knowing no one was assigned to our table was not fair to my husband and I. If it wasn’t for Felix, I would have given this place one star. I do not recommend this place for busy nights or events like Valentine’s Day. The staff needs better organization.

Fantastic Argentinean cuisine. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. I would highly recommend splitting an entrée. The portions are quite large. Everything was super tasty. The beef empanadas are a must-try.

Amazing meat. Empandas were average. Gone twice in 2 weeks and will plan to go back! Please bring back the picana! Drinks and food are still delicious, plus the best atmosphere in this in the city.

Absolutely delicious and an amazing atmosphere. It's like being transported, especially on Thursday when there is a live guitarist. The empanadas are amazing as are the steaks and sausages, and the bartenders are highly skilled. Also an excellent selection of exquisite, less common wines at every price point. Excellent value for the price.

Really great place. The food was amazing, and the morcilla and empanadas are the best. You are definitely going to eat more. The service was good too, the only thing is they need spicy sauce and the chorizo be like argentina tasting. We ate the parrillada for 2.

A surprise homerun with the tortilla de espinaca, perfectly cooked picanha, chorizo three ways w an outstanding morcilla (blood sausage) were the highlights of the meal. There was a guitarist for live music as well. Delicious food and delightful company; a great night out. If you get one appetiser, get the tortilla de espinaca.

Terrific service, drinks and empanadas! The meat leaves a lot to be desired - all entree's were way over cooked, medium rare came out well done - that was the case for all six of us dining together. Pick and choose wisely!

Enjoyed our experience here! The host and server were wonderful and the atmosphere was festive with the music playing next door. I enjoyed the patio dinning and even though it was hot when we walked up the patio was the perfect temperature. The staff did everything they could to make our visit wonderful and I definitely will come here again

Their flan is the best flan I’ve ever had in my life.. melts in your mouth goodness! Their mashed potatoes are so fluffy and well seasoned. El Che is also a must order (it’s enough for two people) and is served on a cute mini grill. Also, their mojitos are great and the sangria too. Don’t debate on going.. just go! You won’t regret it.

Cool place with wonderful ambiance and service. The food wasn't exceptional, our Argentinian beef cut and short rib were overcooked and not nearly as flavorful as they should be given the type/cut. The sweetbread was a bit too chewy but had a nice flavor. The drinks were tasty, especially the pisco sour!

Great spot! Loved learning about Argentine food. The El Che comes out on a tabletop grill sizzling! The chimichurri is also amazing! Good vibes, friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

The visit was to indulge in the ambiance with extra dirty martinis..This night was a special one as they had a live acoustic guitarist playing throughout the dining area. The staff is very attentive, the room filled with candlelight and soft music..the filet dish with spinach mashed potatoes was cooked to perfection..not to mention, the martinis were such a treat! This place is definitely a favorite...

Valentine’s Day date- super slow service which we somewhat expected on a busy night, but when you sit at a table for 30 minutes before getting a drink, then 30 with empty glasses, wait 30 minutes for bill, wait 30 minutes for them to pick up the bill and card etc etc… it turned into a two hour dinner when we had movie plans. At points in time it seems we were forgot about. Food was bland at best, I got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, didn’t eat 80% of it. Partner had steak or something, nothing special for 50$. On a positive note the place was super moody and good vibes, candles everywhere. Bathroom looked like it was from a run down gas station, so that was a surprise as well. I’d go back for cocktails at the bar, but wouldn’t eat. $180 for 2 people. 3 stars is being generous.

Neighborhood gem. Never disappoints! Our server was the best. He overheard our conversation about it being my friend's birthday, and he brought out dessert with a candle at the end of our meal. Top notch all around!

Phenomenal spot for Argentinian steak. Good prices and great music when a guitarist is around on Thursday, will go again

The atmosphere was very romantic. The real candle used at the dining table is such a great touch! My friend and I started off with the antipasto and it was delicious. Our server recommended a Melbec wine which was also a great choice. We each had the filet mignon, and the price was very reasonable, and the quality was outstanding. The mashed potatoes that came with it were also very tasty. Our server was funny and very kind, I wish I remembered his name! Definitely will be going back and highly recommend for a great dining experience.

I am a vegetarian and was excited to try the empanadas, I had corn and also the spinach and cheese. Both were so good! There are several vegetarian options, but do not sleep on the portobello mushrooms, absolutely delicious! We ordered a mix of appetizers, small plates, and drinks and left full and happy. The service was excellent!

Everything was top notch - the service, the food, the wine, and most especially the atmosphere. We weren’t terribly hungry, so we opted for a couple apps. The empanadas and chorizo trio did not disappoint! In particular the empanadas were a fantastic value. The building is beautiful, with a very romantic, candle-lit vibe after dark. We will definitely be back to this very special place!

I had El Filet and shared a side of the asparagus and portobello. El Filet was very juicy and cooked exactly as I asked. The asparagus were crunchy, had no chewy bits, and just the right amount of seasoning. The portobellos were cooked just right and the wine sauce they were in made it a perfect side dish to pair with El Filet. The wait staff always have great recommendations for food or drink if you're looking to pair or simply unsure what to get. Highly recommend asking for a recommendation 😄

Wow. This place is incredible! The food was so good and had great portions that really fill you up! I could barely finish my entree because I got so wonderfully full. Oscar, my waiter was amazing, too. He was attentive and gave great recommendations, as well as background on the food and wine! The restaurant is also uniquely designed and has a nice intimate feel to it. I'm so happy I found this place. Thank you for a delicious dinner!

I’m Brazilian, so I’m very picky with my steak! Folklore has one of the best steaks in town for the price. Their service is amazing every time I come here. They’re desert is also great, the flan is my favorite. I always come back for more!

The food and drinks were great the atmosphere is also very nice service was somewhat slowThis place is super Packed on Saturday night so if you suspect a quiet dinner it’s better to go during the week or on a lazy Sunday

Food is great here. Be mindful of meat temperatures in case the waiter forgets to ask you, as each chef has their own preferred temperature for beef. Our waiter forgot to ask a few of us in our large group, resulting in some of us not getting the preferred temperature for our steaks. The atmosphere is very nice. Their cocktail menu is also thoughtful and the drinks are flavorful.

Hands down a great restaurant! Fresh and delicious food! Hot and fresh bread rolls! Great for dates and groups! Amazing dishes and main courses! The pictures don’t do justice, but I highly recommend these restaurant and their big brother Tango Sur! Never disappointed here! Be prepared to wait a little bit but it’s worth it!

Amazing food and excellent service. We were visiting from New York and this place was recommended by a local friend of mine. It absolutely did not disappoint! I highly recommend!!

The food was ok. My ribs were rare when I asked medium well. Too much fat on the ribs made it non appetizing. The piece of flank steak was flavorful and the meat was perfectly cooked. We ordered Parillada for 2.

Came here for the first time tonight with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was amazing! Service was so unbelievably friendly and sincere. Our server had great recommendations. We tried the empanadas, gnocchi, salmon and the milanesa. Highly recommend! So happy to add another stellar restaurant to our rotation.
