Stayed
at
this
location
due
to
its
proximity
to
the
Renaissance
Faire.
I
had
booked
online,
informed
the
property
I
was
bringing
my
service
dog,
and
requested
4
extra
pillows
in
my
room
(I
am
disabled).
The
pillows
were
not
in
the
room.
When
I
arrived
to
check
in,
the
young
man
tries
to
charge
me
a
pet
service
fee
(against
the
company's
policy,
and
against
ADA).
I
informed
him
you
can
not
charge
for
service
animals,
to
which
he
told
me
I
still
needed
to
sign
the
pet-fee
paperwork
agreeing
to
the
service
charge.
I
annotated
on
the
bottom
of
the
paper
that
the
animal
was
a
service
animal.
When
the
front
desk
gentleman
saw
what
I
had
written,
he
told
me
"oh,
I'm
sorry.
You
were
supposed
to
sign
the
electronic
version
of
the
form
instead."
That
form
didn't
have
anywhere
to
add
in
"service
animal",
it
just
auto
fills
in
your
initials
on
all
their
pet
fee
agreements.
Our
room:
the
sheets
had
black
fuzz
all
over
them,
one
of
the
pillows
had
red
dot
stains
that
look
like
blood
drops.
The
room
also
smelled
so
strongly
like
mildew,
it
took
almost
3
hours
of
running
the
AC
to
make
it
tolerable.
The
pool/hot
tub:
holy
chlorine
batman....
I
think
maybe
a
chemical
test
needs
to
run
on
the
pool
and
hot
tub...
after
we
were
done
swimming,
we
were
so
itchy
from
the
residual
chlorine
left
on
our
skin.
It
felt
like
being
stung
by
ants.
Even
after
2
showers,
it
was
still
pretty
bad.
The
only
redeeming
quality
this
hotel
has
is:
LOCATION
LOCATION
LOCATION!
It
is
right
in
the
parking
lot
of
Gurnee
Mills.
