Tourist attraction Museum

👍👍 Had a wonderful time visiting the Heritage Center to see art created by students and adults as well as more history exhibits on the second floor! Live music was performed by artists and of course we had to go to the Freeze and pick up a bite!. People often mention Great, history, Grayslake,

Nice facility, but way too small for concerts. Ticket price too high.

Great exhibits about the town of Grayslake. The place was so festive for Christmas and had a Santa and Mrs. Claus for the kids to meet.

Visit for a sense of community as well as history. This is the kind of museum you can drop by and spend a bit of time enjoying. Stop in after shopping downtown or visiting Farmer's Market. Free!

This place is really cool. The staff is really nice and willing to share knowledge about their museum and the city. There are 2 levels on the main level and they also have an annex. In the main building they have all sorts of artifacts from almost the beginning of the city. Really worth the time to come here. In the annex they have an original fire truck from the 50s that still works and they use it in the parades, also few other vehicles and machinery. The best part it is free to come here, but I would leave a donation though

👍 Beautiful park with a playground, volleyball court, the lake and a shelter area with some benches. They just seriously need to build a true bathroom area with maybe a water station because to have one portapotty for this park area is just sad, and Grayslake pulls in enough taxes for it.

👍👍 Basic splash pad, its gated. They have a park and a shelter with 2 picnic tables right there too. There's a few benches around the splash pad. Most people create their own set up by bringing lawn chairs, blankets, food, etc. They are open everyday 10am-7pm and it's free:)
