When I came to get tested, they told me the wait would be 1.5hrs. I’m waiting in my car and after about an hour and a half I call to get an update on my place in line. The woman who answered the phone told me that I had only been waiting 23 minutes and that I would have to continue to wait. I told her that was incorrect and that I received a check in text an hour and half ago (which I offered to show her). She was very unapologetic and had a tone in her voice that made it seem like she thought I was lying. She claimed that there was nothing she could do because it was the system. I had to continue to wait another 40 min before I was able to go in. Total waiting time was over 2 hours. I saw people who came after me go in and was very irritated by this whole process.

I've been there twice. It was quick and easy to be seen, both times, and they diagnosed my issues correctly - an injured foot and shingles. However, the service is weird. The first time, the doctor got super rude when I couldn't remember the date of my last menstruation - right after a 2000 lb trailer had fallen on my foot. He threatened not to serve me and made wise cracks. The second time, the doctor was nice, but I realized afterward that he actually told me nothing about shingles (only that I had them, due to stress), and only spent about one minute in the room. They sent in a technician afterward to stand there and read me my discharge instructions, word by word, stumbling over most of the words and skipping the ones she couldn't sound out, while she held them for me to read as well (I read them about fifty times as fast as her in my head). This sheet also said nothing about shingles. The waiting room is FREEZING cold. There was weird pop music blaring in the examination room, which they turned down for me. Anyway, it's convenient, but certainly not a substitute for caring, informed care.

Not worth your time. Called and they said they were still accepting walk ins. Arrive and they are not. Website says they provide Covid treatments including antiviral medication, arrived and they said they do not. Did not take my temperature upon arrival or even treat me with the most basic concern for my health. Offered an EKG since I said I was having trouble breathing. This place is just an insurance suck looking to make money. No concern for actual people. Also the ways the doors are locked and signed is a bit confusing. Nothing like kicking a sick person when they are down by making them figure out a puzzle to get in.

Amanda is an angel in disguise. A very kind and nurturing soul who was very comforting through the duration of the time I was there. This my first time in a medical facility where I actually understood the cost associated with the treatments I received and this is all thanks to Amanda. Front desk and my insurance pretty much handled the short back and forth about certain cost but I went in Friday afternoon feeling like death, went home that night feeling much better and had a recheck appointment today(Saturday) and looks like I’m good to go! Much thanks to Amanda and the staff here, this is the place to go if you’d like to be treated like you matter.

Turned away from an appointment this morning. I made a mistake and clicked the wrong option when booking, but the receptionist was extremely rude throughout the process. I have two sisters and a brother who are nurses, so I know that things can get hectic, but the receptionist asked for sensitive medication information (medication names) over a loud speaker in the foyer (the glass doors before you even get into the practice) in front of other strangers who were - which, in addition to being unprofessional, is also a violation of my confidentiality rights as a patient- unacceptable. Walked up to another urgent care nearby and was seen in 5 minutes. Definitely would NOT go here for medical services in the future.

The Doc who saw us (Amanda) was awesome. She exactly what the issue was and was able to quickly send us on our way. The process of registering was misleading, the front desk was snarky and rude, and the process of checking in and waiting was overly complicated and not at all clear. I understand these “unprecedented” times require changes to how things are done for safety. What would have made this a whole lot better would have been a some sort of communication about the process and staff who can actually explain it instead of lashing out.

I have been in and out of hospitals and urgent cares essentially my whole life and this was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had! I appreciate how kind and affirming every single person on staff was! Even those that I didn't have direct contact with were so kind and encouraging. I am really thankful to every person at Physicians Immediate Care and I have already been recommending it to any person who will listen! Hopefully I will have no reason to go back to an Urgent Care but if I do I plan to come directly to this one!!

PA Amanda was so amazingly friendly. The entire staff was sympathetic to my cause and I was just super grateful. They stayed up with me because I was alone. I just feel so blessed for having the staff like that. Truly a caring place and will recommend them truly.

My fiancé and I arrived at 7:43pm with a knife cut to the finger. On arrival, lights were turned out and though there was staff inside, and the phone number I called confirmed they were open until 8pm, we were turned away. As an immediate care center, I cannot understand why you would have listed hours that you would not adhere to; it seems entirely unethical and there was no compassion, sympathy, or even recommendation for care elsewhere. Thankfully, Midwest Express Clinic around the corner (who also closed at 8pm) was able to do the sutures, and their staff was friendly and professional throughout the entire experience.

didn’t even get to see the doctors! I went in and waited for a half hour before the front desk lady told me my insurance was not accepted- i left and called my insurance, and the insurance told me that she had processed the insurance wrong and it is covered. I went back in and she told me to wait to the side while she checked in 10 other patients and essentially forgot about me- after waiting another 45 minutes i went back up to the desk and asked if we could figure out my insurance- she told me no. so after waiting 1 1/2 hours to have the front desk lady help me with insurance with no help whatsoever, i left in tears- and went to the urgent care on clybourne, where my insurance actually was accepted! never going here again.

The assistant was so nice and caring and then the doctor came in, didn't tell me his name and just rush repeated what my paperwork said and didn't ask me a single question. He then proceeded to examine my infected eyes with no gloves and walked out of the room. Then another lady came in to give me my discharge paperwork and sent me on my way.

Been here twice, once for a COVID PCR test and once for a broken elbow. They are super nice, there's free parking, and it's relatively speedy as far as urgent care goes. I was seen very quickly and kept informed by all the folks who worked with me.

My experience at this facility was a beautiful one. The staff was friendly, comforting and very professional. But my direct experience was with Ms. Saba Khan, PA. I truly appreciated the expertise and sincerity of her work. The day I visited this facility was a very tough and frustrating day, not to mention painful after being hurt on the job, but the staff helped to bring a smile to my face upon being discharged. I’m very grateful to this group of medical professionals.

They were excellent. I was a walk in and did not even know whether they would take my insurance. They told me there would be a 2 hour wait for a physician to see me about my laryngitis, which I expected. They did accept my insurance, I saw a good doctor and I was out of there completely in less than 2 hours with good treatment and it cost me nothing. This was less than a week ago and I’m now well on to recovering. I’m very happy with the experience.

I walked in feeling fatigue, chills with body aches. The place was clean and orderly, the service was prompted. I didn’t have to wait too long bc there weren’t many people at that time (Tuesday 2pm) it may have been due to the weather being cloudy & rainy. regardless, they are a knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the place is fully equipped. I would definitely go back again.

Shame on this business. When I called to find out the current wait time the receptionist refused to give it to me. I get that wait times change by the minute, but with two small children in tow it would have been helpful to know if I could expect to wait around 10 minutes or around 4 hours. I didn't end up finding out because I took my business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. This is poor customer service.

The staff was great! My daughter was seen. I liked how they approached and took care of her needs. Very friendly, and you can tell they love what they do. I definitely recommend this place!

Such a caring and welcoming center. The staff were really kind and helpful. The RN and Physician were very professional and listened to me and took a good care of me. Physician seemed really qualified and knew exactly how to treat my illness and her recommendations were highly valued. Overall the treatment took 10 mins. I highly recommend this place for urgent care related issues.

I spoke to someone on the phone yesterday because I just noticed they accidentally left a stitch in when removing them a couple months ago. They apologized and said they'd email several people on staff including their manager about the situation so that I wouldn't have to pay for their mistake. All I needed to do was make an appointment for the next day. Came in the next day, and nobody had any idea what I was talking about. I'd rather pay someone else to take care of their mistake.

We walked in at 7:20pm as my partner suspected he tore some ligaments in his shoulder after a cycling accident. Even though the lobby was completely empty, the female employee said they were no longer taking walk-ins. I asked why their website says they are open until 8pm if they stop taking walk-ins well before 8pm but she didn’t have an answer. We ended up going to Midwest Express Clinic (River North) and despite walking in 17 mins before closing, they took us in even though they had a busy waiting room. I will never use this urgent care clinic in the future as the customer service was terrible.

I have been going to this place for years and the staff are really nice. It has been a huge convenience for me recently also when I had to get an X-ray. I didn’t wait too long and left with a boot. That was fast and doctors do their best job. I am grateful for this clinic.

Had a great and fast experience. Went in for a cough that lasted in for 3 weeks, made my appointment, got there almost 40 minutes early. I didn't mind waiting but they took care of me right away, did a chest xray right away too and was on my way within the hour.

Dr Caroline was very professional and thorough during our visit. My son needed to do a physical for school and I'm thankful we were able to walk-in without an appointment. Great staff and happy that our visit went as well as it did!

The staff were all so professional, helpful, and kind. There was almost no wait time and the facility was extremely neat and clean. It was all an excellent experience when not feeling well.

Experienced informative, thorough & efficient care, from front desk to tech to Dr. I also had some luck on my side, as wait was minimal. The check in system tells you what number you are in line, which I appreciate. Fully vax’d & boosted, my first ever Covid diagnosis, being older & with asthma, I had some questions. I really appreciated the Dr who was not rushed & very informative as well as reassuring. I found all staff to be helpful & kind. Glad they’re in my neighborhood! Thank you!

The Immediate care provider that took care of me was very nice. I did not like the fact that I made an appointment at 6:00pm and was not seen till around 6:40pm. Otherwise a friendly staff.

Scheduling online and registering online was the best feature to allow me to just walk in and check in. The “virtual” line was excellent and accurate. I did show up a bit early yet was also seen early. All staff was efficient and friendly and understood you didn’t want to spend all day there. I only remove one star because the equipment for checking vitals should be replaced.

The staff here is so incredibly kind - from the front desk when I first walked in, to the nurse, and doctor. I truly believe I received the best care possible! Thank you!

Have been to the Bucktown location several times, and I have always had a wonderful experience. Each time, my physician has been patient, kind, and forthcoming with information. I always leave feeling confident in their evaluations and recommendations. Easy to make appointments online, easy check-in process, and Ive always been seen within 20 minutes of my appointment time.

Such a great experience at PIC! I woke up in the middle of the night feeling very sick, I was able to go online and book an appointment for the next morning. With the ability to log my general info into their registration form prior to my visit, I walked right in and was seen by a professional. My visit was very pleasant and I was out of there shortly with a solution in hand! This was my first visit with PIC and I will certainly use them again. I came across their site in the BTN Big 10K virtual bag offer.

Honestly, my experience was way better than I was expecting. I had never been to an urgent care type place before and I was expecting it to be kind of cold, unfriendly and not great quality. It was the complete opposite. It was thorough, efficient and very professional. I greatly appreciate the kindness and thoroughness of the staff. It is so crucial when you're not feeling well to have people be kind and gentle with you. In a place that can easily be rote routine, you showed presence and were personable. Thank you to everyone at Physicians Immediate Care for showing true care, it is reflecting the best of our humanity. 🤗💕

Brought my infant son in with a high fever (103.6). They saw him promptly and treated both of us with kindness. However, they took his fever under his armpit…he’s 7 months old. It of course didn’t register a fever. I was told to keep giving him Tylenol, but they couldn’t tell me how much or how often or what I could take while breastfeeding. When we got home, his temp (taken rectally) was still over 102. Wouldn’t recommend bringing a baby here as they don’t seem super knowledgeable or equipped to treat them. Still, the place is very clean and they were very nice, so I’d probably come here if just for myself.

Hate going to the doctor’s office but this place makes it so easy. Staff is always friendly and professional. I was in before my actual appointment time and out quickly but after a thorough exam by the doctor. She also gave me a few things I could do to keep healthy for the winter season. Definitely recommend.

The physician actually was attentive and took care of me. I have had so many bad experiences with care providers. This was by far the best experience I have had. The physician treated me as a human and treated me with proper care. For urgent matters, I will come back.

The process of setting up an appointment online was very simple, easy, and straightforward. I really appreciated that, as it prevented me from having to wait for hours inside the clinic. The air quality in the building is very good, which I also appreciated. They clearly take extra steps to keep the air everyone shares in the building very clean. The staff was very professional and polite. My nurse was very professional, respectful, and polite and helped me get all the information and my stats gathered for the provider. Dr. Chawla was very informative, professional, articulate, and experienced when it came to diagnosing and explaining my situation. She then helped coordinate my tests results and helped me quickly solve the issue. She gave me very clear and easy to follow instructions as to what to do next in order to keep myself and others healthy. She also gave me printouts with information and tips for treatment which is always a huge benefit for me. My prescription was filled quickly at a convenient location which I was able to pick out ahead of time online which made getting the meds I need very easy. Thank you all for your help and I would certainly recommend this clinic. I am already feeling much better.

This place has it down. Clean, comfortable waiting room. And the appointment scheduler gave me updates on where I was in line. The PA I saw (Justin) was kind and comforting and removed my stitches quickly. He was very understanding of my nervousness and reassured me several times. Really appreciate his attitude and kindness.

The first time I went to physical immediate care. I had to take a TB shot into 2 parts. The doctor told me after I come back for the results of the first shot I could take the second shot. Thanks information was not true you have to wait ,seven days then take the second shot. Then wait another 2 days for that result. Just wanted whom ever reads this to know. Because I didn't have a clue. Thanks and stay safe.

Received excellent care here. Amanda and Lizzy were awesome. They were supportive, patient and thorough. Amanda explained her working diagnosis clearly, discussed options and ultimately put the decisions in my hands. If you do all the registration stuff online before appt, check-in is a breeze.

Great experience. Would recommend coming here next time for urgent care needs. I will def be coming back if necessary. Everyone was so great working with me over a broken toe - super friendly and kind and explained things well to my fiancé and I. Have a parking lot is also a huge plus especially in wicker park.

Easy to schedule COVID and strep tests. Many available appointment times. Test results in minutes, including for PCR rapid tests. This team runs a well-coordinated machine without making me feel like it's a machine - text message confirmation, clear instructions, thorough intake by the clerk and nurse, follow up visit from the physician's assistant, written discharge paperwork, clear verbal instructions if symptoms recur. PA Mark M. had good bedside manner. Will keep coming back.

The male doctor there was wonderful. He calmed my nerves as my child was having a coughing attack. He told me everything would be okay and listened to all my fears. Wonderful guy! Also the nurses were very kind and accommodating.

I went there for a pre-employment checkup. Pretty good service but it took longer than it should have because I went to the bathroom just before they called me. They had to wait until I "charged up" again. Good checkup but exam room was a little chilly.

This place literally saved my life! I was having stomach pains for a few days April 2020, right when the pandemic happened and the hospitals weren’t seeing anyone but COVID patients. I came here based off my sister’s recommendation. They saw that I was in a lot of pain, drew blood, a urinalysis and X-rays. I had blood in my urine and my large intestine was dangerously swollen. They discovered it was diverticulosis. The doctors put all their findings together and handed it to me in a red folder. “Go to the hospital immediately! With this folder, they will accept you! Call us if they won’t see you!” Luckily, they accepted me right away with that folder in hand and I was feeling better in the next 4 days after getting treated for my hospital visit. Come to find out, had I waited another day; my large intestine would’ve bursted and potentially killed me within hours. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place to anyone. The staff is super attentive and comforting! They really listen to what’s ailing you and are patient. I’ve visited them when I’ve had my stomach issues, fevers and sore throats. With some medication, I feel better within a couple of days! They really know what they’re doing here. I highly recommend them!

Terrible experience. The lady in the front desk didn’t even look up when I walked in and immediately just said it’s over an hour wait. She clearly did not want to be there and was rude and lacked soft skills. They should not have people like this working the front desk when there are sick people walking in who need help. The staff was equally unhelpful and unfriendly. A white bald PA who couldn’t care less and was annoyed that I was there and rushing me through while I was trying to explain the pain I was in and what I’ve been through the last 2 weeks. All I wanted was some help and this guy just said “we can’t do anything here and you should call your doctor”. I then advised him, sir the reason I’m here is because my doctors office is closed, that should be common sense. After I had to make suggestions on what medications might help, he filled me a script without even telling me exactly what he filled and made a nice little generic print out and that was it. Over an hour wait to be seen for 6 minutes. Never again.
