Tried to buy a beta fish for a one year old. Was told we had to first buy an $80 tank and could pick up the fish tomorrow. Of course, they did offer "beta bowls" specifically for beta fish. But apparently that was not allowed for some reason.

I went in with my family last weekend to look for a puppy. There were two we were very interested in, but out of our price range. We asked the employee who was helping us to leave a note in our account about the two, and to please contact us whenever the price gets lowered. We decided to go in this weekend for Mother’s Day and visit the two pups. One was on sale, and no one called us to let us know. The employee Maddy helping us that day said no notes were left in my account, but she would add them. When a second employee went to triple check for me to make sure Maddy entered that in, I was right beside her, and saw that the employee Maddy DID write a note, and it said something like this “wants us to call when they go down to $1,000 lol”. I’m sorry, but how unprofessional and rude! What is so funny about what my families price range is for a puppy? Why would I want to come back at this point? We just asked if/when the puppies go on sale to please call us. That’s how we bought our first puppy. I did speak to a manager before I left, and she said it would be addressed, but I really wish I could of spoken to the owner. I am very hurt that a business would laugh at me, and write notes about its customers like that.

Very nice place! We found an amazing puppy and visited her twice, sadly we could not get it due to it being very expensive. Pretty sure it was 5,600 dollars not sure if that pup is sill there but if not I hope she found an amazing family because this puppy was so sweet.

Too overpriced! The Maltese (male) puppy that we were looking at was more than 5 months old. They quoted a price of over $3,000 with all of the add on stuff that was "free" (kennel cage, toys, food, treats, etc.). My husband offered $1,200 and told them we didn't need the "free" stuff shot, vet check and microchipping). And that he was a little older than what we thought for that price. They said when he first got there months ago he was priced at $6,000. WOW!!! To much for this working class family. It's a sad world when people have to finance pets. When we returned home I started Googling Maltese puppies. I found a pet store called Pocket Puppies at the Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall. My husband called them and asked if they had any Maltese puppies we didn't care about gender. They had an AKC male Maltese puppy that was a little over 4 months old he's the cutest little puppy. Their price was $795 and included a take home bag with puppy food and treats. They also covered the cost of the shots, vet check, microchip and registration for it. We took him to the vet the next day and they said he was 5.7 lbs. and very healthy. We have sent in his AKC papers and named him Ziggy Stardust. My suggestion to anyone looking for a small breed pet is to go to Pocket Puppies first or try looking for private breeders online in your area.

My doctor wants me to get a young dog to train as a service dog for numerous conditions. First off, the website is not in any way the impression that is given when you enter the facility. Multiple puppies are kept in display cages and it is 3-6 of them at a time. There were puppies laying on top of each other for lack of room. Secondly, they allow you to fall in love with a dog before doing a financing option. Third, they don't tell you that your credit score is the financing decision. I was told that the decision runs off your income amount during a phone call. Fourth, they give you an option of putting money down to hold the dog for 24-48 hours and then coming back to pay the full amount due after the 48 hours. Also, I was told by one employee that the amount put down is 20% of the full cost of the dog. Then another told me it is $700. The general manager was very short and rude when I tried to clarify with her. Overall, this was not worth a 1.5 hour drive

Hi, We took our kids to experience and get familiar with puppies. After 30 mins, our planned worked. But, things backfired after they priced them for us. I liked the staff and how clean their store was while we were there. I wish they published prices upfront like they do with discounts. Petland is not a store for you if you look for puppies on a budget.

Overall was a great experience. I was looking for a Dachshund I saw on their website. I was greeted by one of the friendliest staff, I told her what I was looking for and she immediately showed me few options. She took the time to give me information about the dogs. I was able to interact with them and finally pick the baby I wanted to take home. I was given a lot of information and paperwork to take home. Great service!!!

Stopped in to see a purebred Rottweiler puppy last week. The puppy was adorable however really over priced. Requested more information about the parents and AKC certification be emailed and never received it. However I was reminded several times of the financing available I could get should I want the dog despite me saying several times I don't need financing. They seem more interested in financing a pet like it's a car than they do finding good homes for the animals and selling them at reasonable prices.

The lady who assisted us in getting my new puppy was wonderful and so knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable in the decision to take my baby home

I had one puppy in mind for me. Petland called me early in the morning and let me set up an appointment for right when they opened. Asia took care of me and my new mini golden doodle. She was lovely, helped me get everything I needed, and made sure I was aware of any discounts available. When going through paperwork she was very thorough and made sure I understood everything. Overall a wonderful experience!

Pet land did an amazing job helping us find our family dog. The dog is such an amazing quality, gentle, and great with kids. After looking for a dog so many other places, this was the best fit for our family. Tabitha was very sweet and kind and helped us find exactly what we needed for our sweet puppy. I had a great experience here! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Spencer helped me out and was very informative throughout the whole process. I didn’t feel like I was being just sold things but rather explaining how each item is used and can benefit my pup and it matched research I had done prior. I bought my miniature schnauzer from here and I love her! They even stayed open a little past closing to finish off the sale! Very patient. Will come back if I’m looking for a playmate for my pup

Lots of neat stuff in this place. All sorts of young beautiful people waiting on you with their enthusiasm. Great place to visit. Greater place to buy something for your pet. I do not own or work at Petland. Just a satisfied customer. Happy Days

Be careful coming here!!! CUTE puppy alert! But bring your checkbook. Prices for the pups are high. They do seem to take extra care with the dogs and clean between each dog, but again prices are high. May find a "discount" pup every now and then.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! we came here not sure if we were going to come home with a dog but after meeting our dog we knew that we wanted him. The worker that helped us named Savannah was an amazing help and helped us find a finance option that worked for us. She was an amazing help when picking out all our new toys and essentials for our new puppy. Very clean and friendly environment! I highly recommend coming here for a new animal or if you need any pet stuff. They have a lot of choices that will fit the needs of your pets perfectly.

Natalie, Asia & Alyssa are absolutely exceptional. My life was forever changed for the better when I met our puppy at Petland. She was a 8 week old Pomsky, we named her Flaire. Yes, she cost a pretty penny. But you get exactly what you want! Plus everything you need is included in the puppies price.

Overall my first experience was amazing. I was looking at puppies online and decided to come check them out in person. I was greeted by the staff and was helped by Mickie. She did a great job explaining about the different kinds of dogs they had. She was very friendly and understanding of my situation. I was given a lot of information and paperwork that Mickie explained in great detail. Mickie took the time to help us with everything and she made sure we were happy with everything.

My fiancé and I worked with Savannah at Petland Racine and are so incredibly happy with the experience and service she provided us while adopting our adorable mini Hippo pup, Winnie. From start to finish she made sure we had everything we needed before bringing Winnie home. Thank you, Savannah!

Wonderful pet store! Friendly, patient, knowledgeable staff, and all the pet supplies you could need. They also have many puppies, Guinea pigs, birds, rabbits, ferrets, and fish to choose from. The animals are healthy and well-cared for, and they are up front about where the animals come from. The store is very clean and I couldn’t recommend it enough. We adopted our male cockatiel from Petland 2 years ago, and an 8 week old female Lionhead bunny this past weekend. (Pictured here)

We bought a puppy from this store just couple of days ago and this was our first time going through something like this. We are very glad we chose this location. Everyone in the store was very helpful and friendly. The place looked clean and well organized. Spencer was the designated person who helped us out and he provided excellent customer service! He went above and beyond to answer all our questions, and guide us through the process. He made our experience easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Spencer and your store to family and friends.

Went in to shop as usual, but was immediately followed through out the store? It is one thing to be friendly and offer help but this sadly didn’t feel like that at all. The employee was basically standing a finger away hovering the entire time. So instead of comfortably being able to shop around for the various products I came in for I decided to just shop online. Because of the individual who decided to take it upon themselves to hover and watch as I grabbed my things, really just made me uncomfortable. It’s important to teach employees the difference between helping and making a guest uncomfortable when shopping. I’m not sure if the individual meant well or thought I looked shady. Just left a sour taste in my mouth. I don’t think I’ve shopped anywhere in recent years that made me feel “profiled”. Although, I’ve been shopping at pet land since i was riding my bike there 10+ years ago I don’t know if I’d return as I like to shop without having someone breathing down my neck the entire time.

Considering all the effort it takes to manage a store full of the most adorable puppies ever!!! 😲 it's a priceless experience each time I go cause it's a lifetime commitment, and it's wonderful you get to sit in a cubicle and see what personality suits the buyer. They are always staffed well despite most businesses, informative, kind, and you get the best Puppy ❤️ Love Ever!! *Perfect gift companion to tis many seasons to be joyfully jolly 😃

My husband & I went in, looking for a female French Bulldog, & we were so unbelievably lucky, they had ONE left!! We got to meet with her & get to know her a little bit & with the help of our AMAZING store associate, Maddie, we took her home!!! All around great service & service!!

This place is awesome! Natalie was extremely helpful and knew everything about the puppies. They also let you pet and spend time with all the puppies. We are so excited to bring home our puppy today. Definitely recommend if looking for a new puppy to add to your family.
