The Vernon Hills has a great selection and great prices. Probably just need more people in the Sales floor that can help you locate your items. But very clean store and very interesting store. Has a second floor. Should check out.....

One of the largest Menards I have ever been to with two floors and a nice pair of wide escalator-ramps. Clean and spacious store. Friendly and helpful staff at the front areas. Ordered something online and pick-up area was located all the way at the back. No one was there. I rang the bell and waited a good 5-minutes until the person manning the area stopped by. They said they were busy and was on a complaining-roll. Felt bad but I think they could have kept it to a minimum. Video'd just some of their cedar products. Overall, nice store with everything you need for around the house.

First visit to the store. Big store with everything that one needs to build/ remodel a home. Many more options than Home Depot and Lowes. Very clean and organized.

Short&sweet highly disappointed. Especially with their garden center. Could not find any help in garden center also register was close on a Saturday? The poor plants definitely needed some attention and they had racks of plants everywhere.

One of the worst stores/ experiences I’ve ever had at a Menards. I spent ten minutes trying to find someone to help me with purchasing a hammer and nails for my project, for someone to direct me to the manager on duty (Jocelyn?) and she was too busy with another guy (Sean?) to help me. I was just pointed back to the hammers where I was already. Seemed like they were too busy with each other to actually help me. You can never find anyone that is there to help at Vernon hills. I will have to start going to Long Grove instead.

Great location especially for the garden center. There were tons of plants and they take over part of the parking lot too. Wide variety of plants and even wider variety of colors of flowers too.

A special thank you to Jesus and Ana in the customer service department. They were very helpful. kind and courteous. Jose in the flooring department was also very helpful and patient The Lumber department sets the standard for convenience. The store is always clean and well organized with plenty of helpful employees.

Well stocked big box store with a relatively vast variety of products.

As a handyman, Menards is my go-to place! This is the only place I go to pick up building materials. You can drive right up to lumber piles in the lumber yard which makes loading super efficient. BE sure to go to the building materials desk and get a pick ticket. You can take the pick ticket to the checkout line and then pull your truck into the lumber yard in back for the most efficient loading!

Tried to curbside pickup. The staff had no idea how to get the items i had to pick up. Also why am i running all over the store to grab a few things their lazy staff wont go get. Seems pretty pointless. Will never do business with a Menards again. Hire some staff that can pass a drug test possibly?

Not a Menards fan but I really like this one. Have one closer but make the drive here. Store is huge and has items that I don't see elsewhere. Store is we eat off the floor clean. Employees are knowledgeable, polite and are willing to walk the extra mile to help. Sounds kinda nerdy but sometimes this Menards is a cool place to just walk around to see what they have.

Very nice place to shop for home improvement needs. They just built the place so everything is new here. The have a wicked cool escalator that works on some black magic sorcery because the cart goes up with you as well. They also have an elevator if magic isn't your thing. The staff is pretty nice as well. Be careful of the exit when pushing a cart, I saw some lady had her cart jammed by the pavement causing her to trip. Then it happened to me as well when I was leaving the store. Haha. Other than that, nice place.

We have been coming to this location for years and have always been happy! We recently bought a deep freezer and had an issue with the product not menards fault and John from appliances went above and beyond to make sure to fix our issue! Something that should have been a challenge to fix he made easy and smooth! Ryan in delivery also was helpful and accommodating to make sure we got the issue fixed.

This place has everything. We come here because they have the best price on duraflame starter logs and always feel confident we could pick up ANYTHING else we needed from a refrigerator to frozen dinners 😉 I am not from the Midwest and heard about this place on the radio for the first time about 8 months ago, I love this store and it is already one of my all-time favorite retail spots.

Menards has a huge home improvement store in Vernon Hills, IL. Very big store with wide variety of products for home improvement, home appliances, lighting/electrical products, kitchen gadgets, garden products, plants and general grocery items.

Great customer service, pleasant associates, organized and clean. These are impressions that hold true every time I visit this store. Also, for some items the prices are lower than their messy competitors.

Actually pretty impressed with this place. It's huge, clean, and well organized. I talked to two different employees who knew exactly what I was looking for and where to find it (down to the exact spot, rather than just the aisle).

I always find what I need here! I love Menards! I've bought shelving units, plants, household items, outdoor items, animal items & even food from here before! They always have a great variety of stuff to choose from at this location. The staff has always been courteous & helpful as well!
