This is so fun! 60 minutes passed super fast. It is private, recommend magician’s room. We definitely will visit again *Update* we visited 3 days in a row and this is our recommendation 1. Magician room ★★★★★ This room is really fun. Because of this room, we played 3 days in a row. In this room, you should think out of the box. Teamwork is the key to escape, and just shout out loud, when you have to say something. You can experience lots of magic in this room. 2. 8 bit Escape ★★★★☆ Maybe we expected too much, I like games, but it was difficult for me because I didn't know much about 80s games. Especially, if you are not interested in the game, and also not a native English speaker, you might have a little bit hard time thinking about the message. However, the story overall is fun and mini-games are pretty enjoyable. 3. The Graverobber's dilemma ★★★★☆ It was easier than the other two rooms. But my friend and I have different opinions. My friend pretty much like this room, and enjoy solving problems. However, I felt like I was playing a horror game because the room was dark, and there were creepy things around.(insects and animal exhibit is okay to me) Maybe I was too focused, I felt like the murderer was hiding somewhere and watching us playing. Anyway, my friend said that she really enjoyed as much as the magician's room.

Each room has a different theme and puzzles that you will need to solve. The rooms are based on a difficulty level where 10 is the most difficult. You will need to make a reservation online. Tip: make it for just 2 people because you can add more once you get to the place. If you need to cancel your reservation you will loose whatever money you reserved with, 2 being the minimum. This was a lot of fun and anyone who enjoys "mind" puzzles will enjoy the escape rooms. This particular business has wonderfully decorated setups and puzzles. Each very unique. The doors are never locked so you can leave if you need to and everything is monitored with microphones and cameras. The whole business is very clean and organized. The workers are wonderful. It might be a little tight in some spots but it's handicap accessible. Have fun Escaping!

I've been to this escape room a handful of times and have had a wonderful experience each time. The staff there are remarkable and friendly. They are also accommodating to reservation changes if you provide them with enough notice. The facility, including restrooms, are clean and well kept. As for the escape rooms, they all vary in difficulty, so make sure you look up the ratings on their site before attempting. There's also a recommended group number for each room. My favorite is 8-Bit Escape, I highly recommend that one if you are up for some 80s nostalgia. Again, the staff does a great job in being hands off, but will occasionally drop a hint if you're struggling too much or if you request a hint. Each room has a mechanism for providing hints. This place is highly recommended for group outgoings with coworkers, friends, birthdays - pretty much any occasion.

We went for the pirate-themed room, and were really impressed with how inventive and diverse the puzzles were. We go to quite a few escape rooms, and this one stood out as one of the best we've seen in the area for how creative it was and for how well it was all put together. Great job!

My family and I went today for the Maritime Mutineer room. It was outstanding. At first I thought the experience was a little bit pricey, but by the end, I felt that we got good value for our money. The puzzles were tricky, but Sam the attendant did a super job of offering just the right amount of clues to keep us moving and we finished with 28 seconds on the clock. Fun for all ages!

I've done 3 rooms at Escape Room Herndon. Not only are the rooms extremely high quality but the employees are great at taking care of guests, answering our questions, and even brought a chair in a room today as one of the group was on crutches. Can't wait til Ravens Nest opens

My family, ages 13 to 85, recently visited Escape Room Herndon and had an absolute blast with the Maritime Mutiny room. This escape room provided the perfect activity for our multi-generational family group. The puzzles were challenging enough to engage the teens and adults, while not too difficult for the older family members to participate and contribute. The game flow and clues were very well designed. We had to work together combing the room for hidden clues, deciphering codes, and solving puzzles in order to escape in time. There was a great balance of searching, reading, logic, and hands-on activities so every family member could play a role. The room theming and props were very immersive, making us feel like we were rebellion leaders mutinying on a ship. The game master provided just the right amount of guidance when we got stuck. We managed to escape with just minutes to spare! I highly recommend Escape Room Herndon, especially for multi-generational families looking for an exciting bonding experience. The Maritime Mutiny room lets everyone participate in a thrilling race against the clock. We can't wait to return and try more of their creatively-themed rooms!

This was hands down the best escape room we have ever done! Our family loved the 8-bit escape room! It was like traveling back in time. The details were amazing and the puzzles were perfect for a family with teens. The staff was awesome! They were super helpful when needed, but didn't over-help. I would highly recommend going here!!

I've been to 3 or 4 other escape rooms and this one was by far the best! Our family had so much fun! It's a little pricey but the rooms are amazing and so intricate. We tried the gravedigger one and want to try 8-bit next!

I've been to a few of the escape rooms in the area and this one is the best! I've done 3/4 and always blown away by the decor and quality of the rooms. I had previous thought once you do one or two rooms the puzzles would be repetitive, but I was very wrong. The staff is always super friendly and it's clear they love their job.

Our family did the 8-bit room and enjoyed it greatly! The game master was good, the room was filled with 80s memories, and we had a great time. Finished early enough that we got to do a bonus box, which was also fun. Thanks! (We've done 25+ escape rooms, and this was definitely in the top 5 - very well done.)
