I will never be going back to this nail salon. My nail tech seemed distracted and barely attentive to me the whole time. She kept picking up the phone and looking around the whole salon at what other nail techs were doing. Since she was not really paying attention she proceeded to cut me. I've never had an experience where I was cut during shaping at a nail salon (I had dip with tips done). I flinched and said ow and she said she was sorry and proceeded to keep going. She then cut another finger. She apologized again. Since we were near the end I was just waiting for this to be over. After I left, I had a chance to really look at these cuts, and they're DEEP. They look as if I cut myself with a knife or something. These cuts hurt for a week and sting when I'm doing simple daily tasks like typing on a keyboard. Ridiculous. I've been to many nail salons and NEVER had a horrible experience like this. I do not recommend.

I've come here twice for acrylic nails. It seems to be the best place in the area, but still it's a chore to go there instead of the relaxing experience it should be. They only care about getting you in and out. They don't really care what you want, when I said I wanted glitter and was looking at colors, she started to apply a glitter polish I didn't want. Also she was sloppy and left sharp edges, slanted edges, and didn't even bother to color the ends. It's as if the whole time they are tolerating your existence while they hangout. I'm learning how to do my own for now on. Added photos though they are grown out now.

I’ve been going to Metro Nail for about two years and have always felt welcomed by the staff! Nina and her team are incredible and I always leave satisfied with the work that they do! Best nail salon in NOVA.

First time at this nail bar and had the best spa treatment with Brian today. I would highly recommend Brian and make an appointment. I got the spa pedicure gel polish and manicure with gel polish.

I SENT MY TWO DAUGHTER IN LAWS TO METRO NAILS DURING THE HOLIDAYS TO GET THEIR NAILS DONE. THIS USED TO BE A GREAT SALON… but now it is about getting as much $$ as they can… The male manicurist did a sloppy, imprecise french manicure… the other manicurist used thick old nail polish that resulted in a gloppy job. The real disaster was that my daughter had her eyebrows waxed and, after making it clear that she wanted just a clean up… took off half of her brow thickness. She came home in tears… I will NEVER send or go to this salon again…

I'm updating my review after recent experiences from 4 stars to 2. Last summer I came to Metro Nail Bar for a pedicure with a friend, whom I had recommended this location to. She did not have a good experience and neither did I. Then, a few months back in April, I went with a friend who was getting her wedding nails done and I was getting my bridesmaid nails. We both did a spa Pedi and gel. I noticed the technician noticing something with my toenail paint, which didn't look right. She picked at it and then peeled almost half of it off. I didn't say anything because it was late and I figured it would be fine. Overall, my nails looked good. But, by day 3 (one day before my friend's wedding) my nails were chipping. I purposely took it easy to make sure they lasted, and they didn't. My toes were also starting to chip and peel. I paid $115 for a gel mani and spa pedi that didn't even last a week. The spa part of the pedicure was great, but the final product of everything was less than mediocre. I usually paint my nails myself, using gel, and they last at least a week. So, I'm very disappointed in the amount of money spent and it not even lasting the minimum 2 weeks it should have to get a salon Mani/Pedi. I'll now be looking elsewhere to provide a good experience and a lasting final product. November 2021: My mother-in-law made an appointment for us plus 3 women and 1 child for manicures and/or pedicures before my wedding. We had searched around for somewhere that could comfortably accommodate all of us, plus a child, and when she called Nail Bar, they were very personable and willing to accommodate all. We were also able to bring our own snacks and beverages! Everyone's nails turned out great and they were very sweet and good with the child. I showed them the picture of what I wanted and they did a great job! I got a gel pedicure, which was amazing and so relaxing! I did the powder manicure and I had requested almond shape but didn't want them being super pointy, and they ended up being round, which is my only "negative" thing I have to say about the service. All of the staff was super nice and their prices are so reasonable! They also provided us with a bottle of champagne and gave me a rose to take home. Everyone loved this place and I definitely plan on returning!

I was getting acrylic nails and the nail technician filed my nail too hard, I got a small cut on my finger. It was very uncomfortable. I could also tell that the technician was rushing the manicure, to the point where quality of the service was sacrificed. From the start, I haven’t even picked a color yet and the technician was already telling me to sit down. I myself felt pressured.

Favorite nail salon. Staff is friendly, very clean. My nail tech Amy is the BEST! She takes her time and always does an amazing job on my nails. Highly recommended this place!
