My family and I began our Jiu Jitsu journey at Team Passos in May of this year and have been beyond impressed with their amazing instruction and professionalism! They always treat us like family and sincerely care about each of their students. What I am most impressed about is their dedication to making you better. All the coaches including Professor Tony and Josh give you consistent feedback and challenge you to grow and develop your Jiu Jitsu. Team Passos Jiu Jitsu is an amazing place and community that I highly recommend to anyone from beginners to experienced!

I have been training at Team Passos for 9 months now, and it has been an amazing experience. I started out in the kids class which I really enjoyed since all the instructors would explain the drills well enough that every kid, all different ages, in that class could learn it. After a couple months of training in the kids class I moved up to the adult fundamentals. The adults class and kids class both have a common theme. Every instructor who teaches or helps out makes sure that everyone understands the technique while being safe, and everyone is treated like family.

The Team Passos instructors really take the time to invest in you to get the techniques as good as you possibly can. You get a good balance of drilling them and rolling so they stick with you. This school has the best learning culture out of any I have been to. Would recommend this school to anyone that wants to give BJJ a shot or if you have experience.

I started training with Team Passos back in December. The experience has been nothing short of amazing. The coaches and professors are very knowledgeable, caring, and provide great feedback. The whole team there are friendly, easy-going, and welcoming. They create a tight-knit community amongst everyone which is great. They treat you like family! I highly recommend joining Team Passos!

I started training at Team Passos towards the end of January this year. I’ve been doing jiu jitsu for quite some time but recently graduated and moved up to VA. With that being said my experience at Team Passos has been amazing beyond measure. Everyone has been very welcoming and extremely helpful with bringing me up to speed with their current curriculum/drills. What stands out about Team Passos are the members, coaching staff , structured curriculum , high level classes and also their mission. All of the students here and the coaches are definitely committed to helping each other grow and succeed. The technical instruction in the classes is unparalleled and very detailed. Overall, I would recommend Team Passos to everyone regardless of your experience ! I’m glad to be apart of the Team Passos family !

I have been attending Team Passos for little over a month now and the academy has been treating me like family since day one. Professors and coaches are all phenomenal and very attentive to each individual in the class to correct any mistakes that we are doing. I traveled to VA from Georgia for training and upon visiting as a drop in visitor I was immediately treated like a part of the family. The staff was very professional and courteous and the guys and gals on the mats were very chill and helpful and accommodating. Professor Passos was extremely detailed, patient, and systematic in his instruction and gave everyone feedback and direction to ensure proficiency. This was definitely a great place to train and I will be coming back when I have future trainings in VA. Keep up the good work. OSS!!!!
