Do not stay here! I booked a stay for 4 nights in January for a stay the middle of July. I received a phone call on the 4th of July telling me to check my email about my stay. The email said my room was cancelled! I called for explanation and was told the hotel was overbooked by 20 rooms! How is that even possible?! The managers Norma and Stasha couldn't have cared less. I was sent a list of other Hyatt Hotels in the area and was basically treated like it was my fault. They didn't offer to help me get a new room or anything at all for my inconvenience. The worst part is that I was staying here with a group of 12 families for a softball tournament. 2 other families trips were also cancelled, so now we have to stay away from the team. Unless you like being treated like trash, please do not stay here! .....in response to the response given by the hotel, I rest my case. Did you even read my review? I never stayed at your hotel because you cancelled my reservation. Your hotel is awful!

I was surprised when I arrived to find out that you have to pay a third party parking company to park at the location. I complained about it (I've stayed at numerous Hilton properties surrounding the airport and don't have to pay). But what really bugged me was that she did not tell me I had to go on line to pay for parking, along with signing a 20+ page agreement to park. (you need to read it, it is astounding what you have to a agree to). I felt that was intentional so that I would be cited for not paying the fee. Well, I went back down to the car and I quipped to about having sign this damn agreement to park as I was going though the lobby. Next thing I know is that I being threaten from being tossed from the hotel for complaining about parking. Her manager (likely her brother) was "really mad at me." Wow, OK, like I car... I told her you want to give me a refund, I would leave, but it was not offered, so I went back to the room and slept it off. I quickly suspected this hotel was family run, and the family lives in the hotel. The next morning, we went to get breakfast an the whole family was down in the dining area eating. We walked into the room an there was a whole lot of staring and whispering, so much so we decided to leave because we felt so uncomfortable. Otherwise, the room was nice, and we enjoyed our stay in our room. However, the experience overall was not good. Kind of throws me off on staying at a Hyatt House again. Too bad when I've been a Diamond Member at Hilton for the last five years. Makes me regret venturing away from what I know.

The room was good in that we had a kitchen and good space. However, we had booked a one bedroom with a king in a separate room, and they had given us a double bed regular room and then tried to tell us it was an "upgrade" because someone that was staying in the one bedroom decided to extend their stay. So that was frustrating. But the property and rooms were fine.

I had a horrific experience during my stay in your hotel. Against my better judgement I asked for room service. While resting I rolled onto a pillow with blood stains that was not from me. I contacted your leadership and was told " this is not the only complaint we have had". I asked to speak to the manager and have yet to be contacted. I have pictures! I have spent 6 days here ! Stayed at a lot of Hyatts before and this one is pretty low on the list (probably wont stay here again). There was a ton of trash bags left by the elevator causing for the whole floor to smell, the technology/TV is outdated, and they did not allow me remote check in.

Stayed here for 2 weeks while looking for an apartment for a temporary work assignment. Was in one of the rooms with a kitchenette. The size of the kitchen area was disappointing; there was only a tiny bit of counter space and not much cabinet room for groceries. And the offerings were odd and mismatched like 4 plates but only 2 bowls and 7 forks but only 3 spoons. The water is set to be extremely hot, so be careful not to burn yourself. And one washer was broken so there was only one washing machine available to do laundry. Didn't use any of the other amenities, so don't know how to rate them. Never had their breakfast offering because I had to leave for work at 6am and they start it at 6:30. But location was good and had plenty of parking. Overall, fine place to stay. Would stay again if I was in the area.

The Hotel is conveniently located near IAD airport, and they provide a shuttle service. IMPORTANT: The shuttle does not run 24/7, but only between 5AM and 10PM (double check with Hotel!). Through the Airports Subway Station you have access to DC’s public transport. Other than that you rely on your car or Uber. Continental Breakfast is available and is pretty decent.

I stayed at Hyatt House Hotel, and while the hotel was decent, I had a problem with their shuttle service. They made me wait for an hour, and then I had to take an Uber. I was very upset because I had just traveled a long distance, and they didn't show up at all. It made me feel disappointed.

Pretty convenient location near the airport and gas station. The shuttle service was slow. Rooms are nice and homelike with a full size fridge and mini stove. Though the curtains were ineffective at keeping out sunlight. Showers are rain-style with high pressure which was great. Breakfast was mediocre at best with stale bread products and no fruit. So a mixed bag, but overall pretty good.

Had a very comfortable several nights here The General Manager, Mr. Dan, is very professional and attentive. Quickly respond to any email inquiries prior to checkin, throughout the stay and after checkout. All the men at the front desk were polite and caring. The shuttle service men were kind. The breakfast is more than enough for daily needs (fruits, proteins, milk, bread) and the room is spacious and clean. Thank you Hyatt House Dulles

I stayed at this exact location this past Sunday I called and asked to make a reservation for a day room the price online was 105 for an entire night with breakfasts? I said I didn’t want to pay the same for 4 hours she called the hotel and said you can just walk in and get that offering and I said cool thanks, boy did she send me for a long ride. I get to the hotel the shifty female at the front desk said I spoke with the receptionist about my call and then when it’s time to swipe its 150 for 4 hours??? . I didn’t care to make a scene in a cramped lobby that smelled of old stale pastries. We go up the elevator which barely made it to the 3rd floor, get to an average room with no hot water. The beds are fine not too firm or soft, 2 hours into the nap “BANG” the wall unit fell right off as you see in the pictures, it took me about a 15 minutes to get it up right cause at the point I don’t want to hear any guff from this wayward staff. As we’re leaving after a dreadful experience we see the night shift guys mopping up water with towels around their feet throughout the lobby, come to think of it the entire building smells like must with strong chemicals trying to mask it. The customer service: I called first thing in the morning after I woke up just to speak to the same dismissive curt woman at the front desk who tried to pass the buck onto another hotel even after I explained the entire layout, I told her what happen and she starts huffing and puffing so I asked to speak to the manager then she sends me to a voice mail. I don’t know about this brand I usually stay at Hilton or Marriott, after this I’m pretty sure I will continue to. Response to management’s response: my government name is Austen Hernandez and yes this was the Hyatt I stayed at, there’s zero confusion and as stated in my first post your front desk associate showed zero concerns as well I can already see where this is going

The staff was great and they were so friendly and helpful. Took the metro into town and they would pick us up at the airport or drop us off without problem. Never really had an issue that they could solve. They even folded our jersey when they made the bed and put our daughter’s stuffed dog on it nicely. Great job done by all!

We decided to stop halfway from Nags Head home for the night. I couldn't have picked a better spot! Jessy working the desk was very professional. Someone I would certainly wish I had at my hotel! Smelled fresh and clean from the moment we walked in. Sold out location, and I'm glad I was able to make a last-minute booking with my associate rate. We were upgraded to a room with a kitchenette and couldn't be more thankful. We are traveling with food, and this was more than helpful before resuming our trip home to Canton, Ohio. Also very glad we were able to get a load of laundry complete on the way home. The hallways are clean, the room is perfect, all facilities are nice, clean and in perfect working order. This is why I love working and staying with Hyatt! 5-star location!

First time I've had to pay daily parking at a hotel owned lot. Didn't like that surprise. Rooms were clean. Service was average, breakfast was decent.

Front desk staff was amazing both in the morning, and the evening. Room was clean, and okay. Could use some updating in the future. Was disappointed that now we have to pay for parking, but new rules are rules. Overall nice experience with my husband.

You can chrome cast to the TV, staff very friendly, decent breakfast. The kitchenette was stocked with everything you'd need. I was visiting my father from out of state we met halfway between us so I had brought a baked ziti and sald stuff to last us through the weekend. Stove was great, dishwasher, everything you'd need. They have a great tea and coffee selection in the lobby along with ice water which was nice after a long drive. I think this will be the meeting point for my dad and I going forward to save on eating out. The room was excellent the pullout sofa was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and heavy blanket. Very clean.

I would live in this hotel if it was an option. Love, love, love the staff! Great breakfast and all the necessities to feel like you are home. Really spacious cozy room. Best free breakfast in town. Plus it’s pet friendly. Located near a Sheetz gas station which is plus definitely check them out

Room was clean. Staff was nice. Place looks like new. I was in the area for a wedding and this place was 10 15 mins from the airport by car.

Excellent customer service. They checked if rooms were available for early check in before reserving. The place and rooms were extremely clean and tidy.

Breakfast buffet was decent, surprisingly the scrambled eggs were cold. Nice selection of hot teas -- look on the wall to the left as you face the coffee. Huge plus: I left a winter jacket in the closet. (I'll blame jet lag) They shipped it off to me via Fed Ex. The room was clean. Minuses included the dog in the next room, and that the fridge compressor made a very obnoxious high pitch whining noise (just while it was cooling). We had a one night stay - so there was no opportunity to address these issues.

Clean and tidy hotel near the airport. I’ve been to this place so many times over the years and it’s been amazingly good and reasonably priced. It’s getting outdated but still overall clean and well kept. Spacious room with good amenities. Nice gym and free breakfast and parking. There is free airport shuttle as well.

What matters most to me is how I'm treated (Smile)🤗 Every employee I encountered at Hyatt House Dulles went beyond my expectations! My 4 day stay was comfortable and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond experiences I've had at major hotels Bravo👍🏼food was good & rooms were clean and cozy

Hotel and room were very clean. We stayed here for 11 nights while our daughter was being seen at the Heart Institue. We used the pool several times. Pool was nice but could be cleaned more often. During our 11 night stay we never heard any noises from above below or outside our room. Very quite at night. Only downside, and I wouldn't let this stop you from staying here, just more of something to be aware of. There is a hotel next to this one that seems to have a rougher crowd . First night, we caught a man looking into our truck. When we asked him if we could help him, he stated talking crazy talk that made no sense then started threatening my husband. Police were called. He started fighting with the officer, and was taken to jail. That was the only incident we had but saw many others from hotel next to us walking around our parking lot at night. Just watch and beware. But, this hotel is well kept and we would stay again.
