The quantity of food that you get for 15 bucks is seriously not worth it, Its just this specific CAVA in Reston which does that ran by rude employees, Have to drive back again for dinner after getting this Kids meal

Look, I love CAVA and this review is specifically for this location, hopefully it can make the slightest of change. I have made a delivery order of 2 bowls with double protein as well as a drink. All and all the total came to $45 including all the fees, taxes, delivery etc. The drink never made it and the portion was below par, definitely not double protein hardly you can say it was 1 portion of protein, so disappointing when you pay a high price, especially during the current times…

This place has changed over time. We have been eating at CAVA chain in NoVA since 2019. It is our go to place two times week. This place does not have good management or educated staff. There was a lady who was counting spoons of rice and protein she was serving in a petty way. She would pick up a spoon, drop half of it and then put in the bowl. Upon confronting she could not defend it. The other non manager employees did not understand the language or were permitted to talk to customers. I am not going back to this chain and seriously reconsidering CAVA. Sad meals last few weeks picking up from this place followed by bad service lunch today

The older lady (might be the manager?) working here gives considerably smaller portions than normal. I barely got 4-5 leaves of lettuce in my grains+greens bowl and only about 60-70% of the regular scoop of chicken thrown in (while paying extra for the spicy chicken) You should not be getting a different quantity of food for the same price depending on who makes your bowl. I would much rather go to Mezzeh to get proper portion sizes.

They've been cutting corners continuously for the last year. Portions have become pathetic and they started throwing the dressing into the mix rather than in cups.

Good, healthy food at a reasonable price. This was my 2nd time at Cava, the first time with my wife. She's very familiar. While portions were down as we remembered, we both had plenty. She had enough for lunch the next day. We went again today, and I'm finally getting it. We both had supergreens and rice, but I had tomatoes and cucumber while she had cabbage, onions, etc. My veggies wouldn't keep overnight, hers would, a concern since she eats a lot less than I do. Both of us had the spicy lamb meatballs, which were good as expected, but also done medium, which was not. It was a nice surprise as I expected them to be well done. Happy to return.

As noted in other reviews, the staff here are extremely rude and unprofessional. I came here during 6PM on a weekday, and it was very slow. The person serving me pulled the last two old meatballs that had clearly been sitting in the hot-hold for way too long and then proceeds to look at me and asks me if I want half and half since they don't have any more meatballs. (all the other proteins were also old and dried up) I politely said no, do you not have more? They reluctantly go into the back and say it will be 6 minutes to cook more. (as if it's okay for them to just be missing major proteins during dinner time when it isn't even busy in the first place..?) I wait about 15 minutes for them to be made. The same employee proceeds to try to serve the new/fresh meatballs on the rice that had been sitting out from the previous bowl for 15+ minutes as if it was okay to serve me cold food. Then when I asked for a new bowl to be made they put the meatballs on new rice throw it on the counter and walk away rather than finishing the order while there is someone else getting 5+ customized items letting my food get cold once again. This entire time the restaurant is clearly staffed with plenty of employees, all of which are either on their phone or moving very slow. After waiting another five minutes after all of this, I wave down the employee to come back since they are in the back not actually doing anything. I previously have enjoyed CAVA as a quick meal but I will never return here.

Came here recently after one good experience, only to be served undercooked chicken. I know it can be busy, but food safety is something that must be taken seriously, and not rushed through. They were very helpful and understanding after I brought this to their attention, but I probably will avoid coming back for a little while. I hope this teaches them to pay attention to these kinds of things, as food poisoning is not something you should put customers at risk of getting

One time they gave us uncooked rice, this time I was given a bowl that wasn’t even 3/4 full. They take forever to give you your food too. Chipotle is right around the corner & actually does a better job of giving you your food timely & they don’t skimp!

I know inflation is high but it is not like the food prices aren’t going up with it. Paid $14 dollars for this mediocre salad that was so small I was still hungry afterwards. Yeah, food is tasty but the portion is ridiculous. At least add more greens to it 🙄

First time at Cava. Have looked at the menu in the past, wasn’t impressed. This time, with the customization options I was able to find something I liked with some minor tweaks. Order was ready when promised and was actually a nice change. Good flavor and texture combinations. Interesting drink selection too. I’ll probably try it again one day. Third visit. I’m sticking with the spicy chicken pita. So tasty !

Fresh and tasty ingredients with a lot of options to make a balanced meal! If you’re not feeling super-hungry, the Kid’s Pita (a half pita wrap) is a great option. However be aware that it only comes with one dip and two toppings so choose wisely! I highly recommend the falafel, crazy feta, harissa, and tzatziki! The white rice is also perfectly herby and buttery. I wish they would label their toppings as sometimes it’s hard to tell what they are.

I had a great experience at Cava Reston! The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. My only minor complaint is that the portions could be a bit larger for the price, but overall, it's a solid dining choice.

First time here and got two bowls. Honestly, if your night staff is too lazy to make fresh rice and I am eating dehydrated grain, why go to the trouble of making all of these interesting toppings? Good luck, enjoy my $25, one and done.

Allergy friendly Gluten free options (GF) This is a nice order at the counter or online quick service restaurant. There are many healthy options. Ample parking. Plenty of seating. The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients.

Came here with my kids and 1) a good portion of the chicken was over cooked, dry and burnt. They should’ve thrown it away instead of using it. 2) sweet potatoe was undercooked Pro, service was friendly and good.

1st timer - after a long day at a customer site, all I wanted to do is get something to eat and head back to the room. CAVA is opening a location down the street from my house(Hoover, AL). I had the bowl and let me tell you it was delicious. CAVA has made it on my business travel go to list.

Staff is not very friendly and they’re not great at proportions. They skimp on meat and rice, but then you ask for a little bit of cheese or other topping and they add a ton. Fairfax location is far superior, they actually give you a full bowl. Reston you’re lucky to get half a bowl.

It's not a restaurant, but you can dine in. It's more of a chipotle kind of setting. The servers have always been friendly, the food is always great tasting and fresh. I would advise that you download the app to order ahead. It's not that there's crowds, but there can be a little wait. I also like to go full custom with my meals and just find it easier that way. They have one kid meal but my 5 year old is cool with it. The meals aren't too big but they do hit the spot!

I invited my brother to join me for lunch at Cava, as he had never been there before. We both decided to order bowls with braised lamb, and I couldn't resist trying the pita as well. The staff at Cava was excellent; they patiently answered all our questions and provided service with a smile. The ingredients used in our meals were undoubtedly fresh, which made a noticeable difference in taste. If you appreciate Mediterranean cuisine or follow a Mediterranean diet, I highly recommend adding Cava to your list of must-try places.

Food tastes great! Only issue is their portion sizes have significantly decreased. I ordered a greens and grains bowl, and it was 90% greens. They gave me half a scoop of rice. After mixing everything together, I couldn't even see the rice anymore.

CAVA is a great place to go if you like Great Salads. A variety of lettuce/ greens to choose from including protein and toppings. You will not be disappointed.

Came looking for a healthier option for lunch rather than the typical fast food you’d usually find around that time of the day. The food was delicious all thanks to the staff I spoke to when asking for what they would recommend to eat since it was my first time visiting this cava in Reston. Overall a wonderful experience and left happy with a belly full.

CAVA Grill has great organic veggie alternative dishes… already designed or you choose the ingredients. It’s very healthy, and the people are always very friendly, happy and with good humor. I truly enjoy it always.

Service friendly and efficient. Some good healthy choices, but I liked how they used to do the menu better. But I suppose it's helpful to see calorie counts for a few set combinations. Dining tables inside and out, carryout, parking spaces reserved for curbside pickup.
