I was highly impressed with the shoe repair capabilities and customer service at Safety Footwear & Apparel. The store owner was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and was able to repair my shoes much faster than I expected- despite the shop being fairly busy. I am very pleased with the repairs, and will be recommending the store to family and friends!

I had a great experience at this store today. I have unusually wide feet and the boots I was wearing were squeezing and causing lots of pain. Alex took the time to help me find a steel-toe boot that has a wide enough toe box. When I asked about insoles, he brought me over to a computer that maps your foot, then patiently walked me through his orthotic insole selection, helping me try a couple of arch levels and giving me helpful tips. I went in with aching feet, and left with sweet relief! Amazing customer service; I'd recommend this location to anyone!

This review is for the shoe repair. I brought in a pair of vintage Fluevog shoes with heels where the rubber had crumbled. Alex did an amazing job reconstructing the heel and made the shoes wearable. I have since brought in several of my Vogs from boots to pumps and highly recommend this cobbler for the appreciation and care with which he treats my Fluevogs. I don’t trust anyone else with these shoes!

Traveled about 35 minutes here to try and find a new pair of work boots and was extremely happy with my find! I got a pair of danner boots that I actually gave up looking for and also some great tool accessories for work. The owner was extremely personable and after talking he gave me a really nice pair of leather work gloves to go with my purchase. That was really nice and unexpected! I would definitely recommend this place not just for work boots but boots in general!

I’ve been here twice. My father has been shopping here for 30 years. He shopped here when he worked full-time for Uncle Sam and as a photographer. Now he is in assisted-living and not getting around so well. The entire family who owns this store has been profoundly helpful with custom ordering and helping fit my father with clothing and shoes now that he is not getting around so well. I wish I had businesses that were this customer service oriented in the large city where I live…

Wish they gave discounts but they are fully stocked and have various makers of boots very nice

Great place! Customer service is great. They are attentive but not pushy. The shoes here are also very good quality my husband bought a pair of Carthartt boots with steal toe and they were very lightweight. They fit comfortable and don’t warp fast. We are buying another pair soon. Strongly recommend this store for shoes!

The place had a decent inventory, but to pay $69 for a pair of pants, wash and wear one time then have the hem on the right pant leg start separating is a question of quality. 🤔

Alex provides excellent craftsmanship, friendly service, and is knowledgeable. I brought my favorite pair of high heels to him to be re-soled which was not an easy task and he delivered excellent results. Alex did a great job and his pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend him to anyone!
