So hard to get an appointment. The current system is terrible. You have to ring up at 8am..(i rang today at 8.15, waited over 15 mins for someone to answer but that time, all appointments had gone)...wait forever to speak to the receptionist, then you have to wait for a phone call by a gp sometime in the afternoon which is hard to always answer if you're in work or otherwise. I hate having to tell the receptionist why I need to speak to a gp as its sometimes personal. The drop in system (pre covid) was so much better. I've no idea why they can't go back now to that system.

Emma Mason is a wonderful, caring and compassionate woman. She is the phlebotomist at Cavendish. I never have worries getting a blood test done now because Emma is there.

An outstanding Practice. I have been a patient of Cavendish Medical Centre for over 20 years and have found both service and care to be exemplary. I have never felt the need to book with one specific Doctor because all I have met share the same approach; they listen and then respond in a considered and proactive way. The nursing team and reception staff are also excellent; friendly and professional. I was worried when their morning appointments arrangements changed in recent years, but I needn't have. Even during this pandemic, I have been able to get prompt treatment. I recommend this Practice all the time - thank you for the fantastic work you do.

Would advise against joining this doctors you can never get an appointment and get told to go out of hours next door. If wanted to see a nurse would not ring up for a doctors appointment

Really bad service impossible to get an appointment, mental health and under care of a psychiatrist, he always ring GP when really bad, med alter if need be told psychiatrist impossible to get an appointment, also have complex health. I don't like speaking to receptionist about any health problems, especially mental health. The GP might make an appointment only after telephone cal.

I can never get an appointment when I ring at 8am and wait 20 minutes for them to answer. I work most weekdays and weekends, getting an appointment has become impossible. I would not recommend this Dr surgery.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Find a new Dr's if you can! Never have appointments, have left me over a year for minor surgery- and admitted it was their fault. Currently talking to a solicitor over medical negligence because of this.

After a year of hospital admissions & acute health issue/ diagnosis, I have found my local GP practice (Cavendish) to be extremely supportive and proactive with my ongoing aftercare. I would especially like to thank Dr Gathani, Nurses Nick Cavanagh/ Kate Deehan and Emma Mason. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are so supportive and empathetic. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice.

I am writing this review with regards to my elderly mother who has an array of medical conditions and there were a lot of issues and complications with communication with the surgery so having once I spoke to the practice manager and addressed the issues she dealt with them in a very professional manner and showed a lot of empathy and compassion to resolve the issues which my mother is grateful for.
