First time visiting Bakers, and I rely was wowed when walking in!! 🤩. Have previously called in this place many years ago when it was a hand shop, least to stay, it's come a long way since then!!. The new owners have certainly put in a lot of work, creating a new modern and trendy place.!!! The layout and design rely dose compliment the building!!. We call in on the off chance whilst out on a walk around Egerton. The staff were more than happy to accommodate use, seating use in one the of the booth to the front building. The staff were brilliant!! Drink arrived fast, an as quick as we ordered our meals, food was arriving 😋... must admit we were spoilt for choice at first!! There is a great selection of dishes on offer.!!! We opted for the goats cheese 🧀 starter an also the halloumi, and both were seriously scrummy!!! Deffo one for those who like a cheese fix 🤤.. For main we had the Italian chicken gnocchi & also a burger an fries, both dishes were generous in portion an rely nice!! The burger was certainly a challenge, rap ya mouth round!! Massive 🍔😋.. Deffently be returning to try out some other dishes an would certainly recommend to family an friends. !!! 🤩🤩🤩

Cheap tasting food. Overrated small cafe. I have read your response to my review. It’s the same response you give to all your low reviews- bullying tactics will not work. In my opinion the food is of very low quality and considering that you are the apparent owner your attitude needs a little work also. How many 1 star reviews??? How many more insults??? I visited your establishment over 4 weeks ago and was unimpressed.

First visit here on a Friday afternoon, got a table ok without booking ahead. Food was very nice (mains of Mushroom risotto, Salt and Pepper chicken burger). Good service, staff were very nice. Take away cake was enjoyed later. Would definitely revisit.

Visited Baker's for the first time last week as a couple. We was a little unsure as to what the offer is as it is described variously online as a "coffee shop, tearoom, café, bar, kitchen and restaurant", sometimes on the same page and own website, each term brings its own definition and connotation. Spending the day in the outdoors we wasn't really dressed for or wanting a restaurant, more a "muddy boot friendly" tea shop or cafe. We reasoned perhaps it is one of those places that changes as the day goes on? We ate from the Breakfast Menu and we really can't fault the food, it was delicious, with a fair portion size, "personalisation" requests were accommodated without fuss, the food arrived in a timely fashion and was well presented - though I'd prefer the beans to be in a little pot (I'm sure if I ask they would). The Breakfast menu is what I would expect from a good, modern cafe. Pricing was fair, not amazingly cheap, not overly expensive and commensurate with both the quality of food and other localish offerings. Bakers loses a star on service. I entered the shop being another couple, I stood looking at the menu on the wall and was approached by a member of staff who looked at me shocked and questioningly and asked "are you okay", I replied yes, and explained the other couple were first with the reply "yes I know, but i was just checking you are okay?" Another member of staff arrived and I asked for some menus, and placed a drinks order. We initially questioned if we were under-dressed for the venue, but others then left wearing gym/sportswear so cant imagine it was that. It was just a little bit odd and wasn't exactly warm and welcoming. Did they think I was going to rob the place, or did I have two heads? The drinks took a (too) long while to arrive and I was just on my way to chase up when I noticed they'd been made and were sat on the side. The drinks were solid, if cooler than would have been perfect. To sum it up the bill came in at the same to within £1 as another local place we visit regularly but the food was far better, we'll certainly give Bakers another go but I really can't decide if it is a Coffee Shop, Tea Shop, Cafe or Restaurant.

Shared a lovely brunch with my daughter. Food was delicious with a good range of food, not just the usual brunch stuff. Service was very friendly and polite without being intrusive. Would recommend

Lovely staff, great rustic flavours, best soup I've ever had. Now have had brunch, lunch and early dinner with friends. Food is delicious, have a really good vegetarian and pescatarian menu and is halal friendly as dishes do not have alcohol. The meat is not halal but not missing out on the meat as each plate is delicious. Worth the visit.

Been here a few times now and it's now my go to place. Food is fantastic and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Lovely place, fantastic breakfast using quality ingredients. Can get a little busy but the staff are lovely and friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast and drinks for 2 for £20 I thought was great value especially for the quality of the food.

Lovely and well-kept interior. Welcoming and efficient service. Fair variety on the menu and reasonable prices. Appropriate and cooked well food portions, but lacking taste/seasoning. The El Diablo burger patty wasn't a juicy one. Not sure if it was homemade or not, but it needed a bit more to it in terms of flavour. I'm quite sure the chips were supermarket-type frozen ones. Why not have them homemade, well seasoned and crispy? You get a kind handful of tortilla chips too, but seem rather plain. How about having them toasted in melted cheddar, jalapenos and quark? Overall, well done to the team. It's great to see independent eateries full of business for a Monday lunch. We'll try again some time.

Incredible service followed by a welcoming atmosphere! We had amazing food, everything was very fresh. Definitely recommend!

Visited this week for an evening meal. Found the restaurant beautifully furnished and presented. Warehouse style interior with exposed pipes and jam jar lights. Good choice on the menu. Service was quick. I did notice phone chargers built into the tables and although I would never have my phone out at a dinner table, I imagine they are handy. Outdoor seating available at the front of the premises.

Food was good, with a wide selection available on the lunchtime menu. The staff were very attentive throughout.

Opened the door to be greeted with a friendly Hello and a smile from a member of staff that just made us feel welcomed. Seated straight away, was only going to have coffee but the breakfast menu looked too good to miss out on. Also seeing the amazing food that other customers ordered as the waitresses passed our table. We were not disappointed the food was lush. The decor was lovely and all the staff even though were busy all were very pleasant.

This was our first visit, Popped in for a quick coffee. Walked in and was greeted by members of the staff as though we were friends. Even though they were busy, they found a table for us. They ended up with a lovely brunch and hot chocolate and cake. The place was quirky, clean, and blown away with the lovely staff. Just wished we lived close by because the meals we saw coming out of the kitchen all looked amazing and would love to try all of them.

Really enjoyed my first visit. We ate on one of the upper levels, on a weekday, surprisingly busy. Lovely food, good sized portion (fish & chips) which sadly, I couldn't quite finish! Great service and nice ambiance, so definitely a thumbs up from me!

We visited here after searching for somewhere to take my friend (who is GF) for her birthday lunch. It was not disappointing. The service was lovely, the food was divine and the atmosphere was outstanding. No rushing around, not being overlooked or being made to feel 'it was time to leave' like lots of other restaurants do. We love this place! Varied menu, with everything beautifully cooked and presented. Quality Coffee and scrumptious cakes. Lovely chilled atmosphere with easy listening music playing quietly in the background. Restaurant nights are good too with quality meals served by friendly staff.

There will be days that you can get in, I've managed 2 of those of late, but I would recommend you book. Parking can be a pain if you don't like walking 50 yards. I've no problem with that. Great food and staff. Not the best coffee, but that genuinely is just my opinion. Other beverages are great and line I stipulated above, food was tasty and hot.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Very obliging staff. We had to wait for our reserved table as they were very busy but we were kept informed and given a complementary drink of our choice. So it was all good.

Had breakfast here over the weekend with my partner and the food was unbelievable id go as far to say as the best breakfast to date or Brunch as we ate at 11.30am the customer service was spot on to. We was made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived with smiles and speedy service. Highly Recommended. Be carful of the cake display easily draws you in.

My husband and i had a fantastic meal Sat night. The staff were really friendly , its cosy , warm and welcoming. I had salmon which was sensational and my hubby had a burger which was really tasty. Thankyou for a lovely treat.

Stopped here for some takeout on the way home from our dog walk today. We ordered the vegan 'fish' and chips which was a bangin' 10/10. The staff were also lovely and allowed us outside whilst waiting for the torrential rain to pass.

Nice and pleasant staff, very helpful, lovely food, I had a chicken, avocado and bacon wrap, the rest of the family had an all day breakfast, got plenty on your plate...dont know about the bill, I didnt pay for it 😁. But would definitely recommend...🙂

Food was nice, fresh, lovely clean restaurant with character and atmosphere. Unfortunately let down by poor service. Took ages and two requests to get sugar for drinks.. was offered lemon with tea, but never got it. Asked for kids breakfast without egg, came with egg. People on next table vaping.

Lovely Bistro type restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent food. Good choice and great prices. After placing our order we were asked by the waitress if we had any food allergies. I am gluton intolerant and have NEVER been asked anywhere else. So top marks for making everyone feel welcome and wanted - will be going again!

Lunch date with my mum and daughter. Lovely atmosphere. Gorgeous decor. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food fantastic, fairly priced. The only downside is there is practically no parking. But they are on a main road, so had to park in a side street not far from the restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

The food here is lovely. We went here with some friends for lunch. We had our dogs so had to sit outside but the outside garden is nice, especially if it's a good day.

The heart and soul of Egerton, Baker's is a classy go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, dinner and evening cocktails. Their staff are friendly, welcoming and do whatever they can to get you seated on a table as they are in high in demand. Their cakes - delicious. Coffee - guaranteed to keep you going for remote working. Favourite sandwich will always be toasted chicken and brie. Just a shame they are not in London really. A true treasure!

This is hands down the best place to go for breakfast, they are so friendly and accommodating and the food is just fantastic!

Lovely coffee and cake with my husband whilst out little ones were at school. The setting is lovely, and the atmosphere is nice - you feel relaxed and settled when you're there! Hubby had a slice of the salted caramel cake from the counter, and I had a scone which was warm out of the oven ♥️ Also has to be noted that we are proud to support such a wonderful business who despite difficult times caused by covid 19 are being utterly selfless and putting together lunches to ensure children don't go hungry over the half term. Amazing.
