Had an issue getting into the gym, waited for 15 minutes for staff at the entrance after pushing all the assistance buttons. Even had someone enter and try to find a staff member which they couldn't. This was at a time that was supposedly 'staffed'. I've moved to Jet's Gym which has staff that are actually present in the building. No hate on the staff just the corporation. They undercut nicer local gyms then cutback on customer service.

Absolutely ZERO customer service. We wanted to go to this gym but no one was there to help us when my friend had trouble entering. If you have any access needs or are a beginner DON’T GO HERE

Zero staff on site, no customer service from the lack of phone number. So no immediate help. Dropped something into another locked locker and everyone at the gym said it wasn’t theirs so I couldn’t call or get any help. No paid space should have zero staff on site and no brand should have no customer service phone line. I recommend gyms that actually have staff and a phone line to help. My friends and I are now using Ravalin Sports Centre

Staff is being forced to bolt-cut bike locks and throw paying customers' hard worked bikes onto the street, with this incident having happened multiple times already. Absolute disgusting behaviour, management are bullies and I do not want to support such a business, nor do I feel safe. Extra issues: Toilets often blocked, gym is usually too busy, paid sport water 2/3 times has ran out. I was a loyal customer for 6 months. Better take your business elsewhere.

Overpriced. I've been a member of this gym for 3 years now and they have consistently been increasing the price without offering anything extra for it. The price of a core membership is now the same as the plus membership was 3 years ago (extra £8/pm! or £96/py) and since then the gym equipment has only gotten older with very few replacement of the old equipment. the price increase has gone up a lot for all options increasing from £5 - £8 pm from 3 years ago. I've now cancelled my membership here as the alternative gyms are now much better value.

Been to your pure gym in Port solent area and was very nice but I recently moved and was wondering how busy they gym is between the hours of 12-2 as I'm not exactly confident. Thanks

Lots of equipment for all yr fitness needs... I'd avoid at 5-7pm...it's absolutely heaving..go later to be able to use the machines you want

Great place to workout, good music playing and lots of equipment here. Sadly it's full of members that are utterly unhygienic by not wiping down after using equipment & others that have no clue what they are doing. Still got cleaning stations dotted around the gym but sadly not always refilled within any good time. Keep spotting underage users in the gym.

Good gym, quite satisfied with facilities. I only wish they had a few icebaths, that would make this a 5 star for me. Hint-hint.

This gym has been awful lately. Water pipe issues every week meaning they have to close at short notice . Broken equipment that clearly needs updating and today the 2 toilet cubicles in the mens changing room were both out of order! Sort it out pure gym this is unacceptable!

Decent gym, good assortment of machines but you REALLY ought to avoid peak times the first 3/4 days of the week. Additionally cables snap every few weeks or so and it takes just as long for them to get fixed. For a period almost half of all the cable machines were only half functional. There's also only 3 chest bench presses ... why is one of the most used set of equipment in such low numbers? In conclusion the gym will suffice but it's just that, sufficient

The gym gets overrun by students double using turnstiles then the rest of the paying gym users can't access the equipment, I've mentioned this to staff on several occasions with no action taken. The toilets (mainly mens upstairs) the bowls are filthy, flush never works. Seeing a pile of backed up poo and tissue isn't why I come here. Gym equipment is waiting on repairs for weeks at a time this all in all isn't acceptable.

Good, the busiest I've seen it since the day it reopened. There are still lots of cleaning stations with cleaning spray and blue roll to wipe down before and after you use the equipment. There were plenty of bins and hand sanitiser too. The bins and stations are checked regularly by staff. The equipment is set out in marked boxes or indicators too. There are still no classes on but the space is open so you can conduct your own class.

Been coming here 3 months now, could be some vast improvements. Weights are always all over the place, and not organised, staff should be present to keep these in order. There’s never any instructors available to ask for help. Gym is often over crowded, especially on Monday and Tuesday evenings, meaning you can’t get on the equipment without waiting extended periods which is a real pain.

Have been using this gym for over a year now and haven’t had any problems but recently they’ve turned the aircon down or off. The heat in there is ridiculous and because it’s usually so busy it gets very hot. Management has said they’ve had to turn it down to save money which I understand but they can’t even turn it up when it’s peak time? You’d think being a paying customer they could turn it up when multiple people have asked. On top of this there has been multiple times they’ve ran out of paper towels so I can’t even wipe down the sweaty gym equipment. Has made working out in their a very unenjoyable experience.

Decent gym. You get what you pay for. Does get very busy at peak times and the toilets are pretty grim sometimes. Staff are friendly when you can find them. My only complaints are the toilets get pretty grim when it’s busy, sometimes it’s difficult to find the weights you need, and the wifi/ data connection is awful. Just gotta make sure you check anything online you might need to check before you get into the gym because you won’t be able to once you’re inside lol

Great as usual but this branch has very few classes in the morning and younger less experience instructor

  • 1/5 Patru D. 11 months ago on Google
Can we have some air conditioning in there, please? There are 30 degrees outside and we are suffocating inside…

  • 4/5 Tee S. 7 months ago on Google
Its alright... Always about 100+ people for the majority of the day but the facility is built for that and the lessons that happen in the upstairs are literally so loud aha cant even listen to my music on full blast, they don't have many benches or squat areas which is quite annoying but if you like Cardio they got a hell lot of machines.

Rowing machines need charging. Soon as you stop or slow down the battery drops dead and all progress is lost.Despite sending emails and informing staff nothing is done.

  • 3/5 Peter L. 1 year ago on Google
For some weeks 5 out of 6 rowing machines have been faulty. There are a great deal of thick cobwebs around some of the lighting.

Great gym but smells like toilet. Fix the toilet smell. Increase amount of men's toilet cubicles. And clean

Nice gym, fully equipped only issue is its too busy! Especially term time between 4 and 9.

  • 5/5 K E. 1 year ago on Google
Extensive range of equipment available. All clean and well maintained. Very very helpful staff with solving problems. Especially Miss C Sturges (assistant manager). I can not express how professional she was in solving my issue of forgetting which locker was mine, without making me feel like a complete muppet infront of everyone else. Highly professional. Very handy with a pair of bolt cutters too. Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year. Regards Mr Forgetful.

3 floors, with plenty of equipment lots of space to get your workout done. My biggest gripe is the entrance, why don't all the doors have pin access. A large majority use pin now qr so this maybe needs to be fixed, otherwise worth it.

Large space and mass amount of equipment, all I used were easy to use and their app has great demonstrations for some of them. I will admit like every gym place being a bigger woman I was unnerved buly all the guys in the gym, and they like to hog the weights section. I think there should be more signs about for the directions of changing rooms and perhaps when people sign up a notification should be issued that if they want to use the lockers to bring their own padlock and key. If I could afford it I would get a PT but as a student I can't afford that luxury, but this g is certainly less crowded than other gyms in the area and the membership options are great for students as well as others, the cheapest option doesn't allow you into the gym at peak times which is fine with me as I don't like a lot of crowding. It's a simple set up which is great as it's a gym not a boutique.

A good chain of gyms with a decent set up, some are looking a little tired, and can be quite busy but all round a good place to train with so.e great staff

Equipment is the best. Provides for friendly atmosphere where you can focus on your workout also caters for different experience levels and staff are always really friendly and have the time to chat and provide any assistance.

Hi I’m trying to join the gym but as I was a member years ago I think I might still be on the system and they said I’ll get my pin through email but I haven’t received the pin,can you help please as I really want to start the gym real soon, and I don’t understand why there isn’t a phone number that I can ring.

Great gym for students. Have frequent sales (start of year, beginning of term etc), friendly and helpful staff, a wide range of equipment and an unthreatening ratio. Never been judged for being a skinny guy here, just people minding their own.

  • 4/5 Michael G. 2 years ago on Google
While some of the equipment is not the very latest, most of it is in good working condition and plenty of it. Usual arrangement of machines, plenty of smiths machines which is great, and 2 areas for heavy lifting

  • 5/5 Phillip D. 3 years ago on Google
Always a pleasure to work out here and early in the morning before work is ideal. There is plenty of space and plenty of equipment and not too many people at this time. Staff are always courteous and helpful and extremely vigilant in these difficult times. Cleaning is essential and all staff and members are fully aware of the necessity if gyms are to remain open; a very small price to pay!

  • 5/5 Adam M. 2 years ago on Google
Nice gym. Spread across multiple floors with plenty of equipment available. Cleaning stations everywhere to keep the equipment sanatised. I had a good experience here

  • 5/5 Null C. 2 years ago on Google
Large range of equipment for a very good price, however can get really busy at peak times.

  • 5/5 Paula P. 3 years ago on Google
If I find the right time , it's great! Most people are friendly. 98% of people clean equipment! But I don't think it should just be left to gym goers , there should be more floor staff going around randomly cleaning nachines for extra cleanliness. Just My opinion.
