One of my favourite places for fish Helpful happy and knowledgeable Grate price and a wide range of stock

Loads of parking, open at convenient hours for people who work. Plenty of choice between small, medium and large fish in lots of different species tropical and coldwater. All fish are very well looked after as are the live plants. They have a wide selection of food And tank decorations (rocks, gravel, drift wood ect). The staff are very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The price is one of the things we are impressed by the most, very affordable. We came out very satisfied with our experience here at Bert and Ernies. (Pictures of our new purchases)

Absolutely brilliant shop, best in the locality! The staff are really knowledgeable and eager to help. The prices are reasonable, cheaper than A***s. It may not look super fancy as they are still setting up, but don't let this put you off. What it lacks in fancy decor it more than makes up for in knowledge, stock and friendliness. Kind of like the old school local shops! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

I have bought numerous fish from Bert & Ernies & never had any problems, fish are always well & healthy & always a really good variety. Mark & his team are all knowledgeable & always happy to help & advise. I would highly recommend to anyone who has or is starting out with fish to call in & have a look around you won't regret it. Yes it's not in a posh building but it's an honest, brilliant, knowledgeable, friendly, independent family run business who go out of their way to help & advise you. Unlike another larger flashy place who were very unhelpful & staff were rude & I will never go there again but will definitely be going back to Bert & Ernies. Well worth a visit if you're an affishionado. There's a much bigger range of fish than you would expect. Seek them out, you won't be disappointed.

Extreamly friendly and welcoming, lots of choice and staff have lots of experience. Great prices, deal on buying multiples and all clearly marked as community (green dot) or not friendly (red dot). They also have frogs, snails, crabs, tortoise, snakes, and axolotl. It's our regular go-to shop. Would highly recommend a visit - you won't come away empty handed.

Pretty good shop plenty of selection and very cheap not always the best quality fish though and the conditions the turtles are kept in isn't great
