I rarely post a bad review of a place as people all too often talk about the bad and not the good on google reviews. However, I have never experienced a restaurant trip as bad as this was. I am hoping it was a one off and no one else has to go through what we went through. There were eleven of us for a 40th birthday meal, we had to pre order our food which we did a week before. Our table was booked for 6pm and we were served our first starter at 7.17pm (time stamped on the photo) over an hour and almost twenty minute wait for starters that were pre-ordered. The waitress (at no fault of their own may I add) they were all really pleasant and of course only passing on what the kitchen were telling them...they kept coming over to our table to say the food wouldn't be much longer, "another ten minutes" another fifteen minutes" etc- they revisited the table many times doing this and of course filling the interim time with getting us more drinks. We did manage to get the kids meals done at a special request as they were of course getting restless as it was getting late. We then had a further 50 minute wait for the mains to come out, (8.08pm on my photo time stamp ) seeing as we arrived at 6pm to wait over two hours for a main meal is rather unreasonable considering all the meals were pre-ordered. Unfortunately when one of the main meals arrived one of the chicken legs was completely frozen and raw in the middle and even had blood, such a shame after waiting all that time. We sent the meal back, they said they would replace it, however and we were still sat there at 9.10pm with no replacement meal, just the new cutlery for the replacement meal that never arrived. The wait staff seemed completely stressed and run off their feet. They were obliviously upset by the whole situ as well as they felt they ruined the birthday celebrations we were there for. (so to the wait staff if you're reading this, it was not your fault and we thought you all handled as well as you could given the situation- however the organisation of the kitchen let you all down. I have to say the manager was extremely good at handling everything and wiped our bill following our experience. it did ruin the evening for the 40th celebration completely- everyone was hangry and annoyed, the kids were restless as it was a much later night and I have to say the food that was edible was pretty mediocre. I appreciate this time of year is busier than normal, however, when you pre order food you expect it to run a lot smoother then it did. It really is such a shame. I despise writing bad reviews, but without bad reviews there cannot be improvement. I also just want to say thank you to the manager who handled everything so professionally and followed up with us a couple of days later and offered us a voucher to enjoy a meal again there another time. I cant say were in a rush at this point, but I hope this was a learning experience for the staff there and they can improve moving forwards.

First time we've been to any Las Iguanas and it won't be our last. It's now our favourite chain and that's after just one visit: to the one in the Barcode, Plymouth. The staff were really nice and friendly, singing along to themselves as they worked - the clearly enjoyed working there. There food was amazing. So many different choices that it was hard to pick. We all tried something new and it was stunning. The cocktail offers of 2 for 1 were a nice little treat after our meal and despite eating and drinking and then drinking some more, the final bill was really quite reasonable. We have unanimously decided it is the best place to eat in Plymouth and we look forward to going back and trying something else new from their great menu.

Went for a few drinks with some friends here a few days ago The drinks were quite pricey, but this was negated by their 2 for 1 cocktail deal! The cocktails were from between £10-14.50 or so, which for one drink is quite expensive but the 2 for 1 deal brought the price per cocktail down to a pretty decent price, good value for money! You can also mix & match if you're going with a few people by ordering 2 cocktails each and then swapping with each other, which we found was a good tactic seeing as there were loads of different drinks we wanted to try! The cocktails were very nice and there was a large selection to choose from with many unique drinks & flavours! It was hard to choose which to order because of this, which isn't a bad thing! You can also order straight to your table without having to go to the bar by scanning a QR code on the table We all agreed that we'd probably be coming back again soon for more drinks!

As soon as I walked in this place I knew it was good. The customer service on its own was amazing thanks to our server Maddy. The food was delicious could not fault it at all. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Even if you're having a bad day come here as the staff will put a smile on your face

We were lucky enough to go to the reopening and it was excellent. Good food, flawless service and such a welcoming environment. I own a business about 200 metres away and will definitely be using this place on a regular basis! Highly recommended!

We booked a table for 8:15 pm by accident we arrived at 8 pm but were directed to our table without any problems. The only issue with it was the chairs which was later fixed. The food is very tasty and the portions are good. You can order vegan version of some of them. What let my hubby down a bit was the dessert, a very small portion for the cost; apart from the fact that the so called "alfajor" is not really an alfajor. But the rest was fine. The music is loud and makes conversation difficult, but it is a good place to go and have a good time while eating. I wouldn't say for a romantic date. The drinks are very good! And I recommend the mojito. The waitresses were very nice too. Attention: the food comes out fast, the waitress was very clever in telling us this, so our entree and main didn't come together. All in all it was a good experience.

This place is elegant with an awesome vibe. I went for brunch and the food was amazing. The service was speedy and friendly. Their nachos are absolutely incredible! This lone visit has made this one of my favorite spots now. The only reason am not giving 5⭐️s is because both mocktails I wanted was unavailable and I didn't really enjoy my third option. Moreover we ordered full chicken and was served half however it was quickly sorted with manager

Really happy with the bottomless brunch experience. They brought us the cocktails in jugs, without us asking for the next round. This was a good and bad thing - it was quick and easy, but some which we knew we weren’t keen on were given to us. Next time I’d tell the waitress which ones we don’t want before beginning. Everything else was brill though!

Went in for tapas and cocktails. Dodnt have all tapas available but were not made aware until making the order. Food was ok quite pricey. Bottomless brunch lookes like a better option.

Do not waste your money on desert. Rotten pineapple in one and i felt like I was robbed when I saw the size of mine. Can't complain about the main meal, just a shame it was all ruined by dessert. Will not be coming back

Loved the card game provided to us whilst we were there. Really chilled atmosphere & the staff were very helpful & polite. Love the 2 for 1 Cocktails. Me & my Brothers & Sister in laws tried lots of them 😜 We stayed for a few hours & had a great time. Definitely recommend 👌

Bottomless brunch, very good service considering how busy it was. Food was decent and a good portion size. Cocktails were good quality with lots of flavour managed to get through nearly the whole menu in our 2h slot. Would definitely return.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It wasn't too busy but the atmosphere was cracking, the music wasn't too loud, the food was fab, and the cocktails were brilliant. Me and my partner arrived late to our party and we're welcomed and our waitress Ellie S was wonderful and really enhanced the experience. An absolute asset to the team in Plymouth. 10/10.

We were served by Ellie and she was fantastic, very efficient, friendly & couldn't do enough for us. Great atmosphere and lovely decor inside. Sadly the food was not brilliant. My empanadas were over cooked & very dry. The steak was chewy and the churros were very small with the smallest amount of dipping chocolate I have ever seen. Whoever makes the Quatroleche Cake is very talented, it's amazing. The fries, chicken salad bowls & nachos are fantastic.

One star because I can't give zero. Shocking. Went with daughters for cocktails, and they were happy. I asked for a beer. The pumps were off. Asked for a bottled beer, server returned and told me not available. Asked for an alternative, to be subsequently told that only Corona was available. We were the only people there - go figure. Perhaps tell people what you've got, turn your pumps back on, or shut and lock the doors. I won't be going back, and would encourage others not to go. Absolute waste of time, effort and money.

Had dinner and drinks. Cocktails 2 for 1. I had 4 mojitos in 1 hour and I think they forgot to put the rum in them or used a watered down rum. I should have been drunk as a skunk but I was sober as! Not as good as the Glasgow one. Hardly any chicken with my fajitas, enough for 2 (small ones) not for the 4 that they give you. Half the plate was onion

We ate here tonight and had a wonderful experience, the drinks and food were delicious as always! We can always rely on everything being top notch! We were served by Mitch and Emma who were particularly lovely and made sure to thoroughly take care of my friend’s dietary requirements without any problems. 4 stars for environment only because the music was too loud to hear each other.

We went to a bottomless brunch for my Dad's birthday, and he had a great time out. They brought so many drinks out and he managed to try one of every drink on the Bottomless drink menu within the 2 hours. Our waitress was Ellie and we were very impressed with the speed of bringing drinks out - would definitely recommend!

Interior of this place is a vibe! Food was lovely. We tried out the Vegan and Vegetarian menu and it was lush. Portion sizes are great and it is amazing value for money. They do 2-4-1 cocktails all day and there are non-alcoholic options available too. The cocktails are really nice with the proper amount of alcohol in it. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Arrived to a sparsely occupied restaurant, at least 10-15 empty tables. Was told they were fully booked, but could sit outside (so not fully booked?). Disinterested and robotic waitresses going through the motions in a job they clearly get no satisfaction from. Food was lovely, though. So compliments to the chefs!

We came for breakfast on the weekend and everything was excellent. We got caught in bad traffic and the lady on the phone, Megan, was more than accommodating which helped us to feel really relaxed when we (eventually) got there. All of the staff were really attentive and friendly! The food, oh my god the food, is out of this world. We both had the Brazilian Breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. Lovely portion sizes and mix of flavour. The restaurant is very clean, with polished cutlery which is always a nice touch (not a lot of places do it now so thank you for the attention to detail!) which made us both feel safe and relaxed. Would highly recommend going, we’ll definitely be back soon!

So glad Las Iguanas is back in Plymouth! We were served by Luke and he was great, the value for money is amazing and the food is absolutely delicious. We expected a small bowl of nachos as a starter but got a massive one! The cocktails are amazing too! Plus, they do 241 all the time which makes it even better We'll definetly come again soon x

A huge menu selection of Latin America and generous portions. Highly recommend the 2 for 1 drinks along with the vegan vegetarian menu. Friendly and helpful service from Megan and everyone
