The employees talked among themselves then told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. What were they doing in an empty restaurant for the 45 min?

Koku sushi is always very clean and the service is always fantastic. The servers speak great English. Paulina was our server the last time we went and she was very kind, made space on the table for us and was quick. Never disappointed in Koku sushi.

Late at night, and after a very long day, my friend and I wanted to get some dinner in town. Unfortunately it was a Tuesday and kitchens were closing early. After going to 6 different restaurants and not being able to order, we came across KOKU Sushi. The chef and servers agreed to let us eat and were very kind! The food was delicious and the service was even better. They did all this with a smile on their face. Thank you so much for your kindness.

No tap water offered, only bottled water. Even when asked explicitly for a glass of tap water they said they only can offer bottles. Ended up eating across the street where another restaurant has no problem serving tap.

Great sushi for the price. Enjoyed every roll I had. Staff was nice and accommodating. Even offered me a blanket when it got colder outside. My only bad comment is the deserts. I'd personally just stick to normal menu items as they were a bit of a letdown in my opinion. Definitely suggest eating here if you get the chance.

The duck soup was really good. My compliments to the chef. The Sunday special with the free appetizers was great. We were very satisfied with the service.

The sushi here was par for the course. Nothing outstanding, but nothing that was outright terrible. The outdoor seating is in the middle of the walkway, which is fun to people watch while you eat, but terrible for the flies, gnats, and mosquitoes in the area. The inside is small, and mostly not used during covid. The real problem is with the service. The time it takes to receive appetizers and drinks was about 30-40 minutes on two different occasions, and then again for the main course. The wait staff is the worst in the city - openly rolling eyes and huffing to your face if anything additional is requested. If you want sushi, you will have a better experience at another location, and get similar quality while also not waiting as long. Reply to Owner’s reply: I gave your establishment two attempts. The majority of my complaints were about wait times and overly rude staff, which you glossed over, ignored, or made excuses. This looks even worse for you, and I again don’t recommend this location.
