The owner was very humble. He showed us round the museum explaining the history. It was very interesting and the items have been collected and passed down through centuries from his own family. Very small entrance fee, well worth a visit.

Owner was keen to share his knowledge and very friendly. I feel I have learnt a lot about local plants and past ways of doing things. I would highly recommend this tiny museum to anybody with an hour to spare.

Definitely worth a visit! Very educative visit despite the place is rather tiny. Was great for adults so they can recall seeing some of the tools their grandparents used to have at home. Good for kids as well as the owner had couple of anecdotes ready for them so they were not bored. If that is not enough you can also get some simple and reasonably priced souvenirs there too. Put this place on you path to the beach you will not regret it.

It is a spectacular museum where you can learn more about the flora of Rhodes, traditional Rhodian houses, and the brief history of the island. The floral section is really unique because this is the first time I have seen fresh plants in vases, rather than photos or herbaria. You may have encountered these trees, flowers or bushes before, but after your visit you will be able to recognize them during your promenades. Another room is dedicated to a traditional Greek house and all of its contents are kept with love and respect for older generations. The host is very kind and answers your questions with great pleasure. I highly recommend visiting this place.

The owner of this little museum is very friendly, and really happy to tell you about everything in it. It's a small museum with a lot of history in it. A very pleasant little place.

WONDERFUL! Such a well organised, detailed, perfectly labeled treasure of a museum! The owner collected ,displayed and labeled everything on his own. You should definitely ask him to give you a little tour! He explains perfectly, some interesting exhibits and their purpose would have remained hidden from us. You can still take your own little walk through the three rooms afterwards but I promis your view has changed then. Thank you for your kindness, knowledge and dedication!:) I visited many museums on Rhodos before- this place should be the national museum.

"We like to eat, we like to dance and we like to drink Ouzo." This was one of the most memorable sentences. This smell museum was such a wonderful experience. Thanks to the owner who was also our guide, we learned the influence of nature in the history and culture of the Rhodes. I really recommend visiting this place, you will not regret that.

A Very friendly family ) my wife and I love how the owner was so helpful, and supportive in showing and explaining all the details on the items. He is very passionate and knowledgeable in explaining the history of the old days. I hope the local Government will help this family in expanding and preserving such delicate historical artefacts.

It was an amazing experience and the guide in there was so nice and helpful. He explained a lot about history and tradition in Rhodes. He was able to answer all questions and he delivered great service. The ticket is only 5€. They close early so I recommend to visit is you want to take a walk after breakfast.

This is one of the best experiences I’ve had at a small museum. Kept with love and passion, this one really stands out. The floral section is something above and beyond. Most common species of the flora are represented not only by pictures, but also by freshly prepared branch samples and their fruits. I highly recommend visiting this museum.

A wonderful family-run museum that is a must visit when you visit Rhodes! The owner, Stamatis, welcomed us with open arms and took the time and care to cover the history of Rhodes and it's flora and fauna in a clear and interesting way. He also speaks excellent English. I would thoroughly recommend a trip here to learn more about the island of Rhodes. It is also a great place to get some nice souvenirs. My fiancée and I were able to find souvenirs and gifts for ourselves and to take back to our family / friends!

This was a wonderful discovery from which we've learnt about many interesting things about the local flore and faune and Rhodes' history with Italy. Absolute gem outside the fuzzy touristic town of Rhodes.

If you are interested about older days and history of Rhodes, this is a great place to start! The owner is such a kind and beautiful soul! He talked us through every piece he gathered (all by himself and his family!). Not a big place but we found ourselves lost there for over an hour if not more! Very interesting, highly recommend! Good luck with your collection, many more to find!! :)
