This is agreat little Italian spot. They have authentic Italian food large dishes for a great price. The servers are great and have a good attitude. The atmosphere is loud but the food is good.My wife and I come here often for lunch and have never had a bad meal. Service is always great also. Just wish they had better dining hours.

Talk about a step back in time, Rocky's is a Rochester landmark. Located on Jay Street in the city of Rochester. They have the Itlay classic meals, and it was delicious 😋 I had bean's & greens and a side of tripe. It was made the way my grandfather and mom Prepared it, Perfect 👌 The waitress was very friendly and very informative of the specials. The food came out fast and hot. Thank you to all the employees who work to serve me a great time enjoying ourselves with family and friends. Gerry

My god is this place good!! I’ve been coming here for around 20 years and I swear it only gets better! I had the homemade chicken Parmesan for the first time today and it blew me away. Best sauce best soups best everything!

It’s been around since 1949 and it’s the last of the Italian neighborhood restaurants in Rochesters old little Italy. Most of the inside is original. It’s not updated or modern but that’s part of its charm! I’ve been many times. Incredible food! I got Ravioli with meatballs. I thought it was great and my co worker, who had never been before said it was the best ravioli he had ever had. Wonderful service as well. Christine was an absolute sweetheart. She was attentive, fast, and was in general one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had, in any restaurant. Definitely recommend. It’s important that these sort of places stay open. Go support them! Way better Italian food than you’ll get at any chain.

Great food, very authentic, homemade gnocchi’s, meatballs and sauce were the best!! The staff made us feel like part of the family! I highly recommend this restaurant…. Can’t wait to go back…. There’s no place like home!!

Such a delicious Italian restaurant! Rocky’s is a must visit place in Rochester (and probably the best Italian restaurant in town). Everything here is homemade and the menu changes every day. We got the gnocchi with a meatball and the side salad, and it was so good! The sauce here is the out if this world! Our sever was so attentive, she really made us feel like regulars. Overall such a great restaurant and experience. We will definitely be back!

Love this place but the last few times, it wasn't that good. Hopefully they make improvements to fix what's going on. I love this little place and been going there a long time. Great memories with my grandma as a kid going for lunch. Give it a try!!!!!!

Flat-out the last real, authentic Italian food left in Rochester. Lunch menu changes daily (lasagna on Tuesday). Best bread come non-stop to your table by the sweetest servers. Samantha is an absolute gem!!! Their tripe is the best, consistently, anywhere. Lunch only 11-2, dinner on Fridays. I always stop when I come back to visit my childhood hometown.

Sauce is amazing! Hasn't changed in the 70 years they've been in business. Old, local Italian restaurant with excellent food. Eat and enjoy every bite. It's worth it. Only open for lunch, prices are very reasonable for an awesome menu.

Our waitress Christine was great. We were there to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the eggplant parm and we did both. My tripe was the best I have had. It was not chewy at all, just tender enough without being mushy and the sauce had just the right amount of heat.

A great authentic Italian Restaurant. I would highly recommend going and going early as it does get busy and the food gets sold out. 10/10!

Unbelievably simple and perfect linguini with white clam sauce. The guys running the place have a system that just keeps things cranking. Bread was fresh and the NE clam chowder was one of the best in Rochester.

Quaint Italian American ambiance. Loved the old country feel of this place. Cheerful and accommodating staff! The food is fresh, homemade and delightful. Possibly the best meatballs ever! This was our first visit and I will definitely go again

No frills, family owned since the 1940’s. Food just like Grandma and Dad used to make. The sauce is delicious, the eggplant is melt in your mouth, the service is friendly, casual, and efficient.

First time here and the food was awesome! There was 4 of us and between food and drinks it was alot less than expected and better quality than dining at a high end establishment. I highly recommend it here because you won't be disappointed at all!

Rocky’s is classic, old school Italian at its finest. The food is outstanding and portions are made for leftovers. Staff is friendly and efficient. We’ve been for lunch a half dozen times in the past ten years and it has been very consistent. I recommend getting there right when they open at 11am or you may have difficulty getting a table, especially for a large group. The menu changes every day of the week and we haven’t had a bad experience yet. Highly recommended!

My wife and I came up to see my mom and wanted to try an authentic Italian place and they nailed it! I had the meatball and sausage plate with rigatoni so good! Sausage is just spicy enough and the meatballs have a great flavor and aren't dried out and covered in sauce! The pasta though was the standout here made in house its definitely noticeable! Going to be telling everyone I know about this place but they don't need the praise they were packed but the food was coming fast!
