The best in Greece!

A good Electronic system from Quince makes the difference against all other local swimming pools in Greece! A good start towards developing Ptolemaida in a swimming competition Centre! What are the next steps? Can the whole infrastructure be brought to a State of the art Swimming pool?

The 50 m indoor swimming pool is one of the best I have visited in Greece. There are 8 lanes and the depth is more than adequate. There is no diving platform. The swimming pool is open to the public Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 16:00 but there are groups for aquaerobic etc for children and adults outside these hours. 90% of the time i have the entire lane at my disposal without having to share due to low attendance rates. This is quite a feat given that most public swimming pools are packed with people. First time subscriptions require a written medical confirmation of good health. Current prices are 40 euros for a 10 clip card valid for one month or 60 euros for a 20 clip card valid for two months. Swim cap and slippers are mandatory.

Whatever another waste of money and miss management no handicap access is simply not acceptable in this day and age .

Bad condition, outdated facilities, not clean enough. Wonderful staff !
