This bar is a must, especially if you're into cocktails - the bartender is simply an alchemist! We had Bamboo, Trees of life, Mandrill (my favourite), and some delicious fruity shots. Loved the sustainable metallic straws as well! Coffee is good too, and the mixed fruit juice is a proper breakfast by itself.

This is the bar to be in Paleochora! It is located in the heart of the town. While you watch people or have a nice conversation you enjoy the best drinks in town and chat with Giorgos the barman! Mayebe the prices might be a bit more than in other bars but the ambience, service and quality of the drinks are worth it! My wifes favorite drink is the "Green bubble Gin", you have to try it! I usually had a Negron, an Ouzo with Ice (Ouzo ton pagaton) or a "megali Mamos" 👌

Much more than a "night life" institution in Paleochora. It's an all day spot but it really comes to life in the evening. The cocktails are simply superb. Try the challenging See-through Margarita (with seaweed from Gramvousa) or the middle-of-the-road Twisted Spicy Mango (based on gin). The Chiquita (with various rums) is another fruity choice. A must!

We had two mocktails and they were absolutely delicious. Mocktails tend to be a mix of juice that ends up way too sweet, but those were just perfectly balanced, rich in flavours, and they really felt like proper cocktails. The born star mocktail was really good, I recommend it. The only reason why I don't put 5 stars is because they don't put the complete list of ingredients. This drink contains egg white, and it's something t important to know if you are pregnant, immuno-deficient, or vegan.

Incredible ambience and looks for this cosy and laid-back coffee/bar in Palaiochora. Their cold brew coffee and friendly staff make you want to take a step back and just relax. Can't recommend this place enough! (the Freddo Espresso was excellent as well!)

As someone who visited many cocktail bars, I really enjoyed our experience in Agios. There is a nice cocktail menu of signatures, which is shortened off-season. On my request they were also able to make a classic cocktail off the menu. The service was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere very cosy.

Time for a cocktail? In Paleochora absolutely the right choice at the level of the capital cities in Central Europe. They make both traditional and signature drinks. There's definitely room to improvment in mixology (cut down on sugar, combine spirits more, ...) but this bar is totally above standard in Crete! I recommend it - normal prices, nice service and a great atmosphere with an interesting history of the place.

An hidden gem. We were in Paliocoras for a day and we set at this bar mostly for the colourful vibe of the place. We found what probably is the best cocktail bar in Crete. The cocktails and the study behind them are incredible! I loved the idea to use local flavours like honey and raki. The attention to the details in the menu, with the story of each cocktail, it really shows the passion and professionalism behind the bar. Everyone was super nice and experienced in their job. They know how to transmit their passion. We had to head back home, otherwise we would have easily spent the night trying all the cocktails. Keep it up! We hope to come back one day.
