Maybe one of the best dinners I've had in my life. Fresh food and fish, everything is fresh and tasty and you see it's homemade, trust me guys, I'm a Chef. I know what is good 👌

This place is a gem! Food was absolutely delicious. We are big seafood fans so ordered the octopus (marinade) and grilled calamari. Just wow. Best ever. Unfortunately, the heat has got to us and we couldn’t eat it all (and felt very bad about leaving food). I’d highly recommend a visit- lovely staff lovely drinks outstanding food.

Lovely taverna where also Greek people go (that’s a good sign!). It is in the middle of nowhere so either car or taxi are required. Service was very very polite and smiley. They even gave us good advices. The fish was very very good and just perfectly cooked. Perhaps a bit pricy (2 fish of the day, two appetizers, one bottle of water 65€) but definitely worth it.

Nice taverna offering tasty food and friendly service in calm and serene area of the island away from the crowds. Definately try the cheese with the pepper marmelade!

This third generation taverna is one of our favorites. Stefanos is gracious ,friendly and kind. The Taverna offers a wide range of traditional dishes and grill choices. While we have our favorites we have never been disapointed with any selection. The food is fantastic! The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, like being at someone home. Absolutely love this place . A must visit if your looking for the traditional Greek family taverna.

We came here as it was recommended by our host in Sidari. Best experience in Corfu so far in our forth day. Grilled calamari were sensational. Kids had pork souvlaki and chicken chops which were also very good. Nice family traditional taverna unfortunately a bit hard to get. Don't try to reach the place with a small engine car. We almost didn't make it back to the main road. 😀

An absolute magical place. Off the beaten track this little restaurant sits in a little valley surrounded by green trees, and a view of the sea. The service was amazing, and always so polite, but the food was the star of the show.

We ate in several restaurants and especially taverns. The food was the best here in Taverna Yialos, so we went there twice. In addition, the women in service is unique. Cheerful, helpful and with good recommendations for food. We even got a meal that wasn't on the menu. If you like really good food and a beautiful atmosphere, you should visit this place. It's definitely a gem.

We stayed two weeks in Corfu and this was the best restautant we ate in Corfu. Guests are really making this place to be an excellent restaurant, food is awsome. Definitely recommend grilled octopus and grilled calamari but all the food is oau. We had also a request to cook for us fresh lobster and it was extremely good. Is it also kid friendly. Recommend this place with all of my heart.

This lovely taverna just up the hill from Yialos beach is an absolute gem. Family run with an excellent menu featuring seafood and traditional Greek and Corfiot dishes. Maria welcomes everyone with a smile and the dishes are so good. Try the Bourdeto (cuttlefish is a spicy sauce) or a simple sea bass with olive oil and lemon dressing. The roasted potatoes in their skins are a wonderful side order too. We’ve dined there twice already and will definitely return!

This truly is a rare gem of „Greece as it was 20years ago“ in this rather English-tourists oriented part of corfu. The food is really good and cooked with love. Basic but of great quality. The service is super nice and you feel like at home with the family. My tip is the homemade retsina and the yialos saganaki. Lamb chops, calamari and pork souvlaki were also on the point. Thanks for a perfect greek evening.

The hosts are so very friendly! She recommended dishes to us with heart even with little bit language barrier. The pork dish was very tasty with the exact perfect spice. (Even reminds me of Asian dish). The stingray dish is special and spicy, you would have to like the consistence of fish to like the dish. The host gave us a giant piece of cake on the house, we were more than full :) the whole restaurant is decorated with lots of efforts and love.

Wow. Our first time eating at this restaurant. 10/10 for service, price and the food was absolutely amazing. Never seen grilled calamari served whole like that. It was surpurb. Great location. What a find. We will return.

If you want to visit an original Greek tavern, this is the right place. Traditional food, Greek music of quality, nice staff. This place is really peaceful and the food tastes delicious. Everything was cooked with virgin olive oil, which made everything taste extra good. If you have never tasted Bourdeto (fish in spicy tomato sauce)before this is the time to do it. We have absolutely nothing negative to say. Enjoy ! 🤍

Very authentic and quiet taverna. The food is delicious and the bread amazing! We got a free dessert at the end - very friendly stuff and nice atmosphere. Best place you can find for a romantic dinner.

Wonderful food. Mixed grill is huge and a most gorgeous feta cheese pie. Attentive host, good facilities. Fantastic value for money. An excellent way to share a birthday.
