I
usually
don't
write
lengthy
reviews,
but
my
experience
here
is
worth
the
exemption.
For
context,
I
was
going
in
seeking
answers.
I
have
a
history
of
attention
&
mood
problems
and
a
family
history
of
ADHD,
Autism,
and
OCD,
so
it
was
safe
to
assume
my
symptoms
were
linked
to
something
along
those
lines.
I'm
already
diagnosed
with
major
depressive
disorder.
To
start
with
the
positive,
the
staff
was
very
friendly!
Both
the
lady
at
the
front
desk
and
the
staff
member
that
conducted
my
testing
were
very
kindly
and
sociable.
Now
for
the
negatives.
Please
heed
the
reviews
you
see
on
here
and
elsewhere...
To
start,
the
testing
was
mostly
memory
recall
and
an
IQ
test.
I
understand
this
is
necessary
for
some
forms
of
ADHD/ASD/OCD,
but
I've
never
really
had
a
problem
academically.
This
will
become
important
later.
One
of
the
tests
was
naming
pictures...and
one
of
them
was
a
noose.
Don't
send
anyone
here
here
if
that's
a
trigger
for
them.
During
my
testing,
I
noticed
no
observational
notes
were
taken
about
my
physical
behaviors
and
the
way
I
answered
questions.
People
with
some
of
these
disorders
are
very
good
at
pattern
recognition,
and
most
of
my
vocal
answers
were
usually
grouped
by
category.
I
was
fidgety
and
zoned
in
and
out
a
lot.
None
of
this
was
noted.
I
never
saw
the
doctor
during
this
testing,
just
for
a
brief
15
conversation
where
we
discussed
symptoms.
He
continuously
went
back
to
how
I
wasn't
punished
in
school
for
fidgetiness
and
that
I
had
good
grades.
This,
once
again,
will
be
important
later.
I
also
gave
him
a
list
of
symptoms
I
had
that
I
had
researched
personally
and
concluded
to
be
symptoms
of
either
of
these
disorders.
Upon
coming
back
today
to
hear
my
results,
I
was
greeted
with
a
not
so
unexpected
surprise
based
on
these
reviews.
He
said
since
I
was
smart,
did
well
in
school,
and
had
depression,
I
couldn't
possibly
have
ADHD,
Autism,
or
OCD.
When
I
tried
to
retell
my
symptoms,
I
was
simply
ignored
and
told,
"People
in
America
are
all
different
and
work
in
different
ways!
That's
what
is
great
about
here."
and,
"You
performed
above
average
on
these
tests,
you're
very
smart,
nothing
here
suggests
you
have
ADHD
or
Autism."
He
insisted
that
the
data
from
his
tests
is
all
he
needed
to
diagnose
me,
and
then
blamed
my
depression
for
some
of
my
attention
deficit
problems.
He
had
also
accused
me
of
being
a
pill
chaser
in
a
not
so
subtle
way.
When
I
came
in
saying
I
was
looking
for
answers,
the
first
thing
he
said
to
me
was,
"Well,
I
cannot
use
this
data
to
give
you
medication,"
instead
of
any
form
of
empathy.
I
don't
really
care
to
get
medication,
I
just
wanted
to
know
what
was
wrong,
y'know?
The
lack
of
regard
for
how
a
SPECTRUM
disorder
works
is
absolutely
astounding.
I've
taken
various
tests
online
(RAADS-R
and
tests
of
that
nature)
and
have
come
back
with
above
average
scores
for
autism
and/or
ADHD.
The
fact
he
couldn't
look
at
some
of
my
glaringly
obvious
symptoms
and
say
the
same...outrageous.
I
will
be
seeking
a
second
opinion,
and
if
you
come
here,
I
would
seek
another
one
too.
Update
after
his
reply:
If
he
really
looked
at
his
data,
he'd
notice
I
marked
off
several
answers
in
his
400+
question
multiple
choice
questionnaire
that
would
imply
I
have
kleptomania.
This
wasn't
brought
up
when
I
came
in
for
my
results.
