I’ve been meaning to leave a review of the great service I’ve received in the past for watch sizing. They’ll size your watch for FREE! Whereas other local jewelry stores will charge $5-10/link when it comes to sizing; which is ridiculous. I’ve also have had my the spring bars which attach the watch to the band replaced multiple times free of charge as well. Thank you Jerry’s Jewelers! I will recommend you guys to any one that needs a watched sized or is looking for beautiful pieces of jewelry as well.

I went here a few weekends ago to get a watch battery replaced. They replaced it so quickly (<10 minutes) and I paid a fraction compared to other places. Plus, the people who work there are amiable and welcoming. He polished up ring while I was there as well! Definitely recommend this family-owned business.

Brought in a vintage watch I got on eBay for regulation and a new crystal. They figured out that I just needed to wear the watch more and the timing would be much better than what I experienced when I first got it, cleaned some of the dirt out of the old scratches, and told me not to waste my money. Watch looks and runs great now. Didn't charge me a dime for all of that. Will be bringing them all of my watch and other jewelry business from now on.

I broke my gold necklace and I didn't know anything about jewelers or repair and I took a chance on jerrys and I was NOT disappointed. I went in for a crystal replacement on my favorite watch and they said they would easily fix it. Initially the time estimate was around a week, but then I got a call later that day saying it was finished. My baby was returned to me shiny and looking good as new. Awesome guys running a very professional shop. Nothing but good things to say.

I was very happy to find a place that would work with my moissanite ring that was bought from a private seller on Etsy. Jerry's Jewelers did a great job of resetting the stone, and cleaning my ring so well I didn't realize how dingy it was until I saw it! However, I was very upset about their job with soldering my ring with the wedding band, and with their response to my fiance pointing out that the stone was not centered with the center of the band. Upon pointing this out my fiance was told, "Maybe she won't notice." It didn't even take a full 1 second before I noticed. We should not have had to pay full price for a soldering job they A) didn't do correctly, & B) will need to be re-done to fix the job they did. If their response was something like, "Oh, I'm sorry sorry about that. We can re-solder this so it's centered & have it ready at no charge in X# of days," I would appreciate that. But the response of "Maybe she won't notice" (in addition to being ridiculous) really shows a lack in quality of service & that you just don't really care about the customer. I'm sure not every employee there would have the same response, but the individual who said this should probably be in a different job. I would go back asking to fix this free of charge, however I don't trust them to touch my ring again. Therefore I'll be going somewhere else to pay full price to make sure my ring is re-soldered to be centered. I'm a very patient, understanding person. My wedding ring is very important & meaningful to me, and I don't want to hand it (& my money) over to people who aren't going to respect what it means to me.

I walked in without an appointment to have batteries replaced in two watches. Frank, the owner, was immediately friendly, kind, and courteous. He is knowledgeable about the brands of watches I have and provided terrific advice. He installed new batteries right then, as I waited. The price was fair. I am very impressed with this store and will return soon to do more business.

I came by Jerry's with a Ben Sherman watch that needed a new band. Turns out the watch wasn't meant to be changed (cheaper watch), but Jerry was up for the challenge. So, you have some favorite or sentimental jewelry that needs sizing or major restoration and you are not sure who you can trust to do it the right way… the best way? I have two mens diamond rings that I bought when I had younger, thinner fingers and they fit fine. But time and arthritis eventually caused me to twist and turn then to get them past my enlarged knuckles until I could not wear them any more. I took them both to Jerry’s Jewelers at 1368 East Ridge Road, here in Rochester. They discussed the work needed for both rings in an honest, professional manner. They gave me great advice resulting in the confidence I needed that my rings were in good hands. They didn’t hurry through it, calling me along the way. When they were ready, I picked them up and was overwhelmed by the quality of their workmanship! The rings look better now than when I first bought them. And the fit is perfect.

I love to support local businesses and I also look for great value and customer service. Jerry's Jewelers checks all the boxes. From emergency quick fixes (sometimes at no cost) to that special purchase to reworking a favorite old piece of jewelry they never fail to do an excellent job. In this day of oh so convenient online shopping (of which I am also guilty) jewelry shopping remains a hands on, in real life, requirement. Let's face it, jewelry is a luxury; for some of us a necessary one. But there is a lot of low quality merchandise out there and I need to see it, touch it, examine it. Now in it's second generation I hope the Magnotta family is around for many more to come.

Finding an actual watch repair jewler is harder than you'd think. Many places just farm out the repairs to someone in Buffalo or NYC. There was nobody in my town so I took a drive to Rochester and met Frank and his father who quickly restored a family heirloom watch and did a beautiful inscription on the back. Friendly professional store with knowledgeble staff and a family atmosphere. That's a rarity these days and I'm glad to have found them.

I needed a watch bracelet adjusted. A Breitling Jubilee bracelet, to be exact. These bracelets are known to be complicated to adjust if youre not familiar with them. I first took the watch to a well known jewler you hear just about every day on the radio. After 20 minutes that jeweler gave up and said they weren't able to adjust it and recommended I find a Brietling authorized dealer. I called Jerry's and spoke to Frank who was more than happy to try and help me out and told me to come on in. Frank and his father Jerry went right to work and were able to figure the adjustment out and get the watch fitting the way I needed it to. Thanks Frank, thanks Jerry for your professionalism and willingness to help me out after your competitor told me they couldn't.

Frank put all his effort into taking the link out of the watch for sizing even after showing me how damaged the pins to watch links were. Very patient and never gave up on the watch. Well I finally did it. I dropped my 1970 Rolex Datejust onto the concrete floor of my garage! And no, it didnt work properly afterwards. The only place I would consider taking it to would be Jerry's Jewelers. Why? Because I know Jerry would repair it, himself. He is trained and experienced in watch repair including Rolex, Omega and many others. He knows how and where to get authenttic parts. He cleaned this watch 9 years ago and it was running perfectly, until I dropped it. In any case, I took it in. He had the watch apart in a few minutes and diagnosed the problem... a broken balance shaft. Tiny part but he showed me what had broken. It turned out the balance jewel also had broken into pieces. Jerry ordered the parts and the watch was back on my wrist in two weeks. Runs perfectly again. You won't get your Rolex fixed anywhere as fast, as well or a for a better price! If you need watch service, do yourself a favor and take your Rolex, or other fine watch, to Jerry's Jewelers. They also can help you with fine and custom jewelry. -Herb

5+ Stars! We're relatively new to the Irondequoit area, and wanted to keep our business local. These guys are OUTSTANDING, and will definitly be our go-to jeweler and watch servicers. I needed an engraving on a case back, which was done in less than 24hrs for a more than reasonable price. Anywhere that can turn anything around in that time frame deserves more than 5 stars. So I followed up immediately with a Hamilton watch that was having an issue. Turned out it was a really simple fix, and I was astonished when they gave it back free of charge, and working perfectly! Who does that?? Did they need to do that, no, but not only are they experts, they really care about their customers, and it's service like this that will bring me back for years to come. As a small business owner myself, the amount of cheer, knowledge, and customer service provided by the guys at Jerry's Jewelers is what every business owner should strive to provide. If you're within an hour of this place, it's worth your trek!

After hearing from the curiosity shop that my father's watch could not be repaired, Jerry confirmed it could be! Although the movement had been discontinued there is another movement to replace the discontinued one. All this within 10 minutes, even though it sat at the curiosity shop for a month. I have nothing but good things to share about Jerry's. I had a ring resized here and the attention to detail was superb. The price was less than I was anticipating, it was done quickly, and the quality was impeccable.

Been here 4 times and I only ever received embarrassingly uneasy service. In my last and final visit, we got into a heated debate about the authenticity and purity of some jewelry I brought in as well as the proper professional testing methods. Long story short, they called in a third party who authenticated and proved me right. I was shocked that jewelers could be so misinformed about jewelry. I wouldn't go here to buy, only repairs/routine maintenance.

One thing that really irks me is when you enter a business and you are not greeted. I entered this place 3 times and I wasn't greeted any of those times. The workers absolutely looked at me but didn't bother saying hello, so I felt very awkward. I'm not expecting a parade, but come on- I'm going to be giving you my money and I chose you. I had a ring resized. It's my own fault I didn't ask for a price. It was $65 bucks and they polished it. I didn't ask for that. When I dropped my ring off, they should have explained what I should expect. Instead, the worker just sized my finger and ring, filled out a receipt and told me to come back Saturday. Maybe this is a misread on my part, but I felt like based on my appearance, I didn't look like I was going to be spending big bucks so they didn't see me as an investment. They lost a customer that would have been returning pretty regularly had I felt valued. It felt like I was conned due to not talking with me about the services.

Went in with an automatic watch which I suspected had gotten magnetized from an ipad smart cover. Jerry dealt with me directly and understood the problem. He put the watch on a timing machine to confirm it was running 2 mins fast, put in on a demagnetizer, and timed it again. Fixed! He didn't even charge me. Will definitely return for future watch repair needs.

I recently took 3 Rolex watches into Jerry’s Jewelers for repair. I was pleasantly surprised when Jerry fixed one while I waited. The other two watches were not running and had to have parts replaced. One of them actually had rust on the inside and was completely seized up. Two weeks later Jerry called me and said they were ready.He showed me photographs of the watches completely disassembled. He cleaned every part and installed the new replacement parts. He also verified the accuracy of the watches. I was astonished when the total price to fix all three watches was less than the average quote I received to just clean one Rolex. Both watches look like they are brand new and the accuracy is perfect. I am now a customer for life. I highly recommend Jerry’s Jewelers for servicing Rolex watches.
