I fish here more than anywhere else. Pulled out several large and small mouth bass that are keepers. Fish taste fine and the esters is pretty clean. But bring a small bag with you when you go and pick up some trash that others leave behind because this spot has gotten more popular and people are leaving line and cigarette butts and beer bottles/cans all the time.

Great location just North of town along the Poudre River and the Poudre Trail. Plenty of great shore fishing and no wake boats can go out here as well. Caught a 6 lb catfish 2 summers ago at dusk using stinkbait. They stock it with trout just check the Colorado fishing and stocking reports for Poudre pond #1. All kinds of fish from bass to trout.

Great little lake to bring your dog, go fishing, spend an hour or spend the whole day! There are tables and a grill for eating and celebrating. Can run, walk, or ride a bike around the area. Part of the lake is gravel (south side) and on the north side there is cement. Something to do for everyone!

It's kind of small, but it's a good place to go float around for awhile.

Very dirty shore covered in trash and beer bottles.. there homeless camps all around in the tall grass/reeds. Dangerous and yucky for those who just want to enjoy nature and fish
