We
had
an
amazing
experience
at
the
St.
Francis
Inn!
I
couldn't
believe
how
many
amenities
there
were:
breakfast
was
always
delicious,
we
got
to
try
cream
sherry
for
the
first
time,
social
hour
was
fun
and
featured
local
wine
along
with
light
bites,
and
dessert
at
night
was
a
fun
way
to
end
a
day
of
sightseeing.
The
courtyard
was
dreamy
with
many
plants
and
a
little
fish
pond;
we
enjoyed
breakfast
out
there
most
mornings.
There
is
also
a
free
parking
lot
across
the
street,
which
can
be
hard
to
find
elsewhere
in
the
city.
The
room
itself
was
the
perfect
size
and
very
clean.
I
was
quite
impressed-
I've
stayed
in
centuries-old
houses
before
and
despite
knowing
they
were
clean,
they
don't
always
look
clean
simply
because
of
their
age.
Not
here!
It
looks
just
as
clean
as
it
feels.
They
also
seem
to
have
thought
of
every
need:
there
is
a
black
makeup-removing
washcloth
in
the
bathroom
as
well
as
"dirty
rags"
that
can
be
used
if
you
spill
something
in
the
room,
and
there
were
plenty
of
towels
as
well
as
toiletries.
We
really
had
everything
we
needed
and
more!
The
staff
were
always
friendly
and
very
helpful;
they
also
have
excellent
local
recommendations,
so
don't
forget
to
ask
them
where
to
eat
or
what
tours
to
do.
One
of
our
favorite
meals
came
from
one
of
their
recommendations
(Meehan's
Pub!).
This
is
also
how
we
found
out
that
they
have
free
tickets
to
the
lighthouse
on
Anastasia
Island,
which
we
enjoyed.
Lastly,
the
location
was
awesome.
St.
George
Street
is
a
direct
line
to
downtown
where
most
of
the
attractions
are,
but
they
are
far
enough
away
that
it
offers
a
peaceful,
quiet
atmosphere.
You're
only
a
5-7
minute
walk
from
downtown
but
you
don't
have
to
worry
about
loud
tourists
late
into
the
night
like
other
properties
that
are
closer
to
the
hustle
and
bustle.
All-in-all,
we
had
an
excellent
time
and
will
definitely
be
staying
again
when
we
come
back
to
St.
Augustine!
