Tequila Mexican doesn't do anything wrong really but it also doesn't do anything really well either. The food is what you would expect of speed reheated mexican; the refried beans are liquidy, the fajita chicken is bland as if the flavor steamed off. The chips are broken, the horchata is bland enough to just pass as skim milk and really was so poor that it might just be better to take it off the menu which I can't believe I am suggesting. The salsa was nice and balanced, the taquitoes are fun but not really enough to make this drive worthy. The pico was fresh and the avacado green but whipped to an inch of its life to taste slightly plastic. The decor is nice, especially the post contemporary pop takes on mexican paintings. They should have leaned more on that theme. The lighting is also well done creating a intimate booth experience with the oversize leather seating. The service is drone like with servers talking in hushed flat emotionless tones of "do you want anything; care for dessert, thank you". Not bad service at all but robots could have delivered just as well and spoken up. Its ok, there are much worse but also much better. They could do a little nip and tuck on the menu to really go up a notch easily.

Nice mexican ambiance. Waiters were very attentive. Food was really delicious and served in big portions (I needed to bring home the half of my food) . We are satisfied with the experience. I recommend this place to add on your must try mexican restaurant.

Great Mexican place in Arnold. The monster chimichanga and shrimp Colorado are both great options. Margaritas a priced well. Service is always great. The place dies get packed on Friday and Saturday nights.

Tequila Mexican Restaurant is great! Their food is very good. The interior is decorated beautifully with all the Mexican scenery. There’s a bar; with TVs to watch sports. There’s plenty of free parking in the back. Without doubt I recommend Tequila Mexican Restaurant because they are great! Have a great day!

We have ate there three times and are completely impressed! You cannot beat their service or their food. The food usually appears in just a few minutes after ordering and before the free bowl of nacho chips and salsa are gone. The place runs like a well oiled machine! We have tried several items and all are delicious, but the carnitas are the absolute best I ever had and usually more than I can eat in one sitting. Great value for $13! You can eat here as cheap as fast food and it’s almost as fast! Worth the drive from St Charles from time to time for us, and usually plan a trip that way around eating there. Enjoy!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant! My family of 3 goes every Friday evening (plus some) and are always greeted with smiling faces and quick service! The food is delish and even approved by our 4-year-old daughter! We have brought nearly all of our friends and family at some point and all agree that the food is top notch. Once you sit down, chips and salsa are quick to follow. The servers take your order promptly and the entrees are brought before you can even eat the chips. Will forever recommend Tequilas to anyone looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try!

We frequent this restaurant and the service has been excellent for 2. Last night there were 4 of us. The waiter gave us way too much time to take our order, and I’m extremely disappointed. Maybe it’s because we were stuck in the very last booth for 4 or he was assigned too many tables? I hungry, and did not expect to wait so long. I ate the this time greasy chips and salsa.. I will never sit in the corner there again when there are more than 2 of us.

Well it's a bit loud. We came on a busy Friday and the place was packed. Every one seemed to be talking over each other. So if your looking for a nice quiet restaurant, this ain't it. Especially on a Friday. However, the service was excellent. drinks came fast and food came right after and we weren't even there 15 minutes. food came in about 7 minutes. Scary fast, like this can't be good fast. Wrong, food was delicious, highly recommend their enchiladas supremas. I didn't set my fork down till it was all gone. Waiter was awesome. Will definitely order from there again but next time is probably gonna be to go.

I brought my mother here for birthday lunch, and I was blown away by how amazing the food was! The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is also really good. It was my first time here but now I understand why I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place. I definitely plan to return.

We visited on a Friday, which is likely the reason for our negative experience. This place gets LOUD. We were unable to talk to each other, and if you want to say something, you have to shout it. The food was like any other Mexican restaurant, and it didn't stand out. One of us ordered a well done steak, and it came back completely rare. None of us got refills on our drinks when they were empty. The food came out pretty quick though, and I would consider coming back during the week. I don't recommended coming here on the weekend.

Locally owned by a trio of brothers, the service is prompt, every time we go here to eat. The service staff works very hard to give us a pleasant meal. The food is good and consistent. They will take the time to know your name, and memorize your favorites on the menu and your preferred drink. There is also an exceptional selection of spirits at the bar. Plenty of top shelf bourbon and tequilla. The beer is always cold and fresh (I've been to a few places where the bottled beer is bad) One of the owners typically greets you at the door. This place is on our regular restaurant rotation.

Very Disappointed! Served raw chicken! Mentioned tot he waiter and all he did was take the place and say I will get you another. Didn't get another was sickening thinking I had just ate some food that could have been contaminated. We asked for the manager at the end of our time there and he did not know about what happened. He says I will go to the kitchen to talk to them and never came back. I wasn't looking for free food but a sincere apology. Never got it, never will go back or recommend to anyone. Lost a frequent customer!
