This place is legit. 💯❤️💯 I found this place while searching for food near me. I noticed the pictures looked 🔥🔥 so my husband and I had to give them a try. When we ordered, we were greeted by the head chef Miguel who went over some of the menu items with us. He was phenomenal, and very knowledgeable about each item. This man knows how to cook, and he takes such great pride in his food. He's mindful of the spice level, and even without the heat -- the mixture of flavors absolutely deliver. This was definitely one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in a while. The authentic flavors were refreshing. Everything was made from scratch -- from the sauces to the steaming hot tortillas. It's places like this that absolutely dominate and put El Maguey, Dos Primos and other chains (sadly, even a lot of other Mom and Pop) restaurants to shame -- there's no comparison. I especially loved the tomato salsa with the Cochinita taco. The Quesabirria Consumé could have used a little more salt, but it was still amazing. We also tried the Enchiladas De Mole, and the chefs special Chicken Tinga Machete. The Queso Fundito is a must. (Cheese, chorizo, bell peppers, poblano peppers and corn melted in a skillet and cooked to finish with a crispy bottom. Served with warm tortillas). 😘👌🏼 It's so hard to find places that not only serve delicious food, but to be able to speak with the chef who creates these wonderful meals and hear the passion in their voices -- that makes the experience truly special.

Tonight was our first time in. Restaurant is tucked away just off Lindbergh. Pleasantly surprised by not only the food but service. Everyone was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Had a little of everything and it was all delicious. Not one of those Tex-Mex places that simply slaps the same old stuff that was cooked hours ago onto a scalding plate. Obviously care about their product and presentation. Will DEFINITELY be back and have already recommended to several people.

Best Mexican restaurant I've found in St. Louis. The staff is wonderful, their salsa is a perfect balance of heat and flavor, and the Quesabirria is unmatched.

Authentic Mexican food that is sure to deliver! Loved it here. The Mexican red rice tasted a lot like my mom’s. It’s a trip back home. The tortillas are made from scratch, the tacos are mmm. I def recommend tacos al pastor. My sister loved the taco with the pineapple and she doesn’t even like pineapple. That didn’t matter here lol. Horchata and jamaica drinks were great. My first time trying birria and cochinita pibil and it was great. Finished it off with a tamarind and mango ice cream with chamoy sauce.

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in town after only one visit. The online hype from food publications was fierce, and the place delivered. The al pastor taco was the best I've had anywhere, and not only was the cochinita pibil on the panucho excellent, I'm just glad that someone in town is making pibil at all. I also got horchata, which was more hearty than I'm used to - they don't use a super fine strainer, so it had a mouthfeel that was much more coating than I've had before, but excellent flavor and very filling. The owners and their daughter Patience are very sweet and approachable, and it's clear that this is a labor of love. I will be back at least once a week, and I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

Had the shrimp fajitas nachos and tostagauc. Food came out fast, and wait staff were friendly and checked on us often. My wife got the chimichanga plate.

This spot is fabulous! This is a cute gem that delivered! I ordered the street tacos, empanadas, and chips and salsa. All awesome! The waitress is a sweet heart and very attentive. Be back soon!

This place was amazing. Being from Texas I wanted something that reminded me of home and the Quesabirria tacos were so good. The soup you do and green sauce just tasted so good. Great customer service. I really rate the atmosphere as I was literally in and out grabbing my order, but I'm sure it's really nice. Must try restaurant!

Went there due to seeing it online by Taco King and one of my coworkers told me about it. Truly a hidden gem and LOVE the quesabirria. Affordable prices and staff was friendly! Definitely recommend

The absolute best mexican food we've found. Even the most basic components of the meal were beyond expectations. We'll be coming back as often as our bank account allows.
