The food here was amazing. We tried three different appetizers...I never had fried zucchini and they were delicious. And my lasagna was superb...I was just visiting the area and my niece suggested we try another Italian restaurant next time. My reply was "nope" there is no need because we found the spot.

Fantastic birthday dinner for the wife and I. We both had steaks and the bill stayed below $100 (before tip). We can't afford to eat here very often, but when we can it's always wonderful.

This place was very good! Staff members were welcoming and polite, and our waitress (Christina) was very punctual, friendly, and made sure we never ran out of beverages, even with the other tables she was waiting on. Food was worth the price too: the lettuce was sweet, the bread was appetizing, and the Cajun Chicken Pasta was simply scrumptious!

The whole experience here was lovely. The service was great, the atmosphere was really nice and the food was absolutely wonderful. The house salad was great and the bread is so tasty. Me and my husband both had the same dish, (Combination Dinner, Beef Milano paired with Shrimp Rosalino) and we both absolutely loved it. We will definitely be returning, many times I'm sure!

We love coming here for our special occasions. They have excellent food as well as moderately affordable prices. We went for Valentine's Day 2022 (our 3rd year running) and had 8:00 reservations; they got us in quicker than we expected! Keep up the great work, Team Edwardsville

Always great food! My bf says best lasagna he's ever had! Great apps and salad too! On this last trip our server Devin was definitely a stand out! His elevated level of service made for a fine dining experience! He's a rare find.. they need more people like him in the restaurant industry! 🙌

Drinks and dinner tonight. This place never disappoints. We had the artichoke dip(amazing). Wheatley Martinis. $6 in a frosty glass. Chicken milano and Chicken Mudiga. Upgrade to the side of fettuccine ( worth it). The service is always phenomenal. Happy hour M-f 3-6 in the bar.

I cannot speak highly enough about Bella Milano! The staff are amazing! The entire staff will ensure you have everything you need. It is not just one server. The toasted rav are AMAZING, the meat sauce and marinara are both delicious! The spinach artichoke dip is rich and creamy with plenty of delicious artichoke. The pita was well toasted. The salad was amazing, it is a simple salad with amazing house made dressing. The Beef Milano is one of the most amazing pieces of beef I’ve ever had. Cooked to absolute perfection!!! I will be back! So amazing. The spaghetti carbonara is also amazing. It is not on the menu any more though, so you have to ask for it as an off the menu request.

Not only is the food incredible at Bella Milano but the restaurant also serves as a great location to host an event. As a local balloon company, we have recently done several balloon installations to serve as photo backdrops and decor within both of their private party areas. The all seasons room is really an incredible space and the onsite catering is definitely an added bonus! The food always smells amazing during our installs and of course, we have had frequented the restaurant for our own dining as well!

This was my first time at the restaurant and it was outstanding. The salmon was perfect. I had two of their cocktails before and during dinner: cranberry orange mule and the orange honey old fashioned. The cranberry mule was delicious. The old fashioned was good too. Terry was our server and was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again! Bravo!

We stopped here for dinner after a day of baseball games. The atmosphere is incredible. Whoever designed the restaurant paid attention to all the little details. You can dress casual, dress up for date night or dinner with the family. We didn’t have to wait long for a table for 2. We were seated on the patio where the luscious greenery and water feature made you feel like you weren’t right next to a road. Our server Claire did a fantastic job taking care of us. I highly recommend her if you are able to request a server. We had the red sangria which was delightful and started with the toasted ravioli. The toasted ravioli was cooked to perfection with a crisp edge and flavorful center. The red sauce served with the ravioli was one of the best I’ve ever had. Next we had the Milano salad with house dressing which was a sweet Italian dressing. The salad has crisp prosciutto in it which was a nice addition. The bread was also served with a whipped butter which is nice considering most places give you cold butter you can’t even spread. Not only was it served with the perfect butter but also oil, herbs and parmesan. We chose the chicken parmigiana and lasagna for our entrees. Both were also fantastic. The chicken parmigiana was paired with the side of fettuccine Alfredo. It’s not very often a restaurant has a great red sauce AND a wonderful, creamy alfredo sauce but Milano’s has both. The lasagna is incredible but it’s definitely very rich. I know the restaurant is in Illinois but the lasagna is a perfect example of what St. Louis area lasagna should taste like with the provel cheese. The portions are very good for the price. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone for any event. My only recommendation is that I think the servers could benefit from a “step-n-pull” door opener from the patio. I think it would help when carrying dishes back and forth.

I’m not sure where to start! Our server was Madison. She was such a genuinely good person & very good at her job! She made sure our waters were kept full at all times and sparked great conversation with me and my girlfriend. The food was very good and quite obviously made in house. Highly recommend!

Good standard Italian food. I enjoyed my meal, the service and the ambiance, and it’s right across the street from my hotel, a great choice for comfort Italian.

Absolutely adore this restaurant. The specials are always out of this world. Great wine selection. Service was phenomenal (shout out Jessica). I spent 5 years of my life working in a restaurant somewhat like this one and coming here makes me feel at home. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

The salmon was delicious! The cook was perfect and I loved the citrus honey glaze. The steak was not seasoned and very under on the cook. The server noticed and removed it from the tab, I like the way that was handled! Great service.

Food: Chicken Millano, Tortellini with sides of Fettuccine Alfredo and waffle fries. They don't bake their own breads and don't have any options for the breads. Nonetheless, the food is good. The best part is flavorful cheese sauces they create with different cheeses.

mpressive. I will go out on a limb and say, Bella Milano is equal if not better to the Italian restaurants on, The Hill in St. Louis. Yes, it was that good. They nailed it on the food, service and ambiance. I was totally impressed. I was dining alone, so I didn't mind being seated in the bar area at a high top table. My evening started with a Tito's Dirty Martini. I like it when they bring you the shaker with more booze in it. It always makes me feel like I am getting more bang for my cocktail money. While reading the menu, I was pleased to see they offered a half order of their Toasted Ravioli. Being a single diner, a full order would be a meal and I wanted to enjoy a pasta entree as well. They were delicious and I'd say they are my favorite toasted ravioli, now. After my ravioli, I ordered a small Milanos Salad. I was curious to see one of their topping, Crispy Prosciutto Ham. Wow, what a unique item to mix in with a special cheese blend, green onion and topped with a house made dressing. The bartender, who was also my server asked if I wanted bread with my salad. Normally, I would have said no, but being in an Italian restaurant and knowing it came with a small plate of oil for dipping, I could not resist. It took a lot of self control, because I did want to eat the entire basket. For my entree, I selected, Creamy Garlic Angel Hair with Shrimp. It was delicious, but I couldn't finish it and had to take a portion home for the next days lunch. The angel hair was tossed in a rosemary cream sauce with baby shrimp, spinach and shallots and topped with three jumbo sautéed shrimp. The only downside of my meal, was the fact that I was too full to enjoy a dessert. My favorite dessert is Creme Brûlée and I wanted it so bad. I saw several orders being delivered to tables near by and that made me want it even more. Oh, well. At least that gives me a reason to come back and pace myself.

I had the meal on the right Cajun Chicken and a salad. Waitress brought out a dried up small piece of fried chicken breast smothered in a plate full of sodium soak Cajun sauce. No pasta just a toddler piece of salty chicken meat and an inch high of Cajun sauce. What the heck happened? I go online and see pictures of Cajun Chicken with pasta. Where was my pasta? Should have ate at home. I wish I could forget this happened. Ugh!

Hands down the best Italian food I’ve ever ate. When you walk in the place has a distinct aroma to it that is very satisfying. I was not even hungry but my appetite shot through the roof once I walked through the door. The service is beyond excellent. The waiters/waitresses are very attentive to there tables and I never once had a glass that was empty. I ordered there garlic cheese bread as an appetizer and it was mouthwatering. You can tell this place goes above and beyond for there customers! Thank you guys

Had Monday special, grouper w/spinach and a light sauce. Friend had house salad and fried zucchini sticks. Grouper was tasty, added lemon, made it better. Grouper included house salad. Pricey at $30 but worth it. Friend always gets house salad and zucchini sticks. Service was excellent, waitress was attentive and prompt. Had to ask for lemon, wasn’t offered with fish or water. Recommend it, dine there periodically

Bella is consistent - the restaurant is always clean and inviting. The restrooms are spotless. Seating is distanced and not crowded. The staff are polite and efficient. My wife and I love the house dressing on salads. Bella has a reasonable variety of dishes within a reasonable price range. Salads are cold served on a cold plate. Entrees are very hot served on a warm plate. I get the impression that my dinner was prepared to order. The sauces and food are appetizing and delicious. This is a great local Italian restaurant run by a local Italian family with decades of restaurant experience. Bella is a great place to dine with friends and family.

😐 The idea is awesome and has delicious looking menu items. They look amazing, however the wait is long and the food comes out lukewarm/cold. We were seated right away and our waitress was fine. The biscuits here are DELICIOUS. We ordered a basket of them but they didn’t come out until after our food...
