Nice smooth and flat trail, very clean restroom as well. Its worth the drive for a good uninterrupted cycle.

The trail is nicely paved the entire way and you can record many miles on foot or Wheels. Traffic on the trail varies high and low depending on the time of day and day of the week, but all in all it is pretty good. There are some Street Crossings, so be sure to stop at the stop signs. The facilities at various trailheads are very impressive and some include bike repair stations and even water fountains for Furry Friends.

Love this trail! The new trail head at exit 200 is beautiful. It's a super fun trail that's has gentle inclines and declines with some pretty sights. Goes right by Grant's farm so you can usually see the horses. Crosses a few major roads, but is otherwise away from traffic. Smoothness/newness of the pavement varies by section, but even the oldest parts aren't too bumpy. BEWARE OF CYCLISTS! This trail attracts the less leisurely cyclists, who tend to barrel through at double the trail's speed limit without announcing themselves. Be on constant lookout or you will get run over.

This entry point for Grant’s Trail is a great place to get started with your day of cycling or walking. The trailhead was easy to find and parking was readily available. There are always some other people using the trail around, so it doesn’t feel particularly sketchy or unsafe to leave my car/belongings here. I’d recommend this trailhead for people who want to visit Grant’s Trail!

This was the first time I rode this trail and it was awesome. The pavement was smooth and the trail was clean from trash and debris. There was two rest stops with bathrooms and drinking fountains. I started at carondelet park and rode to River Des Peres, crossed over a pedestrian bridge and jumped on the trail that went along highway 55. This crossed over Bayless to Reavis Barracks Rd. I continued on the trail to Union Dr., and that's when I jumped off the trail and road up Union to South county mall. I will be riding this trail often and highly recommend riding or walking this trail often.

Great paved trail if you like flat with no real hills. Fair amount of intersections, so you have to stop and wait for the light, which can be annoying. Nice-weather weekends are almost always crowded too. If you want distance with running/biking and not a lot of challenge, this is your place!

I road Grants Trail before it was a trail! Now it is GREAT! I really like the rest areas. The tool kit area for any repairs that might be needed! The scenery makes a relaxing ride for me. I am sure walking, jogging, roller blading would all be great for this trail too!

It has taken years to get the attention and the money to make this a great trail. But, now, it is becoming famous. The neighbors to the trail went from being afraid of its existence, to loving it! It has brought them pride, and increasd property value!!! New money, and better quality control on the design and quality of work is amazing. I love it, and I recommend it. It needs more restrooms and sources of water. Hopefully that is part of future plans! There is one serious problem at this time, electic bikes! I consider them dangerous to the other people on the trail. They are getting bigger and faster. Some look and move more like motorcycles than bicycles! They are scary! Its just a matter of time before they hurt someone really bad. The trail was built as an exercise opportunity. There is no exercise happening on these big electric bikes. Hopefully the trail managers will ban them from the trail. The sooner the better.

Nice and quiet section of the trail. Especially walking towards Reavis Barracks. Scenic and peaceful.

With ample trails for walking and biking, I was also entertained by the various educational signs available. The parking lot was conveniently located right next to the restrooms and the exit to a nearby highway. Not only this, however, the jungle gym was close to the entrance as well. Additionally, near the entrance, it was well groomed, and there were several very nice flower compositions.
