Great place. Adam greeted us and talked us through his menu. The ribs are some of the best. Tender, moist and the apple butter glaze makes it very unique. Brisket was melt in your mouth good. Definitely a must go place for BBQ.

This place was fantastic. What a find. Per the owner, this is a Memphis-hybrid style rib. The ribs were amazing. The pastrami was also amazing. The max and cheese was good and the buns and applesauce great. The owner was super nice. Just overall a must stop if looking for bbq in St. Louis.

This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall but the food was absolutely amazing from the rack of ribs i ordered to the Cole slaw and baked beans. Both side items were possibly the best I've had and the ribs weren't far behind. We had a chance to talk to the owner, who showed us he really cares about having a great experience and he even told us about the story of Adam, a young man who lost his life to illness, whom the restaurant was named after. If you love BBQ as much as I do, make sure you eat here.

Ordered online and picked it up, they had everything ready once I got there. They gave reheat instructions which was nice. I ordered a full rack of ribs, 1/4 lb of brisket, sides of beans, slaw, potato salad and pasta salad. The ribs were hella good, the beans were the best, then pasta salad, then potato salad and then the slaw. The brisket wasn’t bad but probably wouldn’t order it again.

I have had a lot of bbq and the ribs, salami and pit beans at Adam's was the best I have had. Incredibly friendly staff. If you are close and even if you're downtown, it is worth the drive. Highly recommend.

Edit: returned on my next trip and was turned away as they were apparently sold out of food. Advice is to call ahead and make sure they can serve you before making the effort to go there. Original: Best ribs I’ve ever had. Michael was very friendly and recommended the ribs and baked beans, both out of this world. Definitely recommend and will be returning hopefully regularly

One of the more underrated BBQ joints in St. Louis. I feel like those in South City know what’s up, but Adam’s isn’t as well known across the metro, but it should be. Rivaling places like Pappy’s/Sugarfire/Bogart’s, etc., Adam’s is delicious!

I really like this restaurant for a lot of reasons. I’m thrilled they offer 1/2 rack of ribs. YEA! I love their cole slaw (best in the City)! Wonderful service. The restaurant smells heavenly! The price point is suitable. Next time I’m dining in so I can soak up that lovely aroma. Plus I like the charming dining area.

A cute little house with very friendly owner. He greets you personally and treats you like family. Makes sure you know all the details about how he smokes meats. Everything on the menu is delicious! Would give more stars if we could.

I went with recommendations from the staff and it was right on the money. Exquisite ribs, the best burnt ends I've ever had. Even the potato salad was exactly what I hope for and never find anywhere else. As to atmosphere, it's clean and comfortable, with everything you need (like hand wipes). The folks are knowledgeable and clearly love the food they're making. This is my new go-to BBQ place.

My favorite bbq joint in stl hands down. I always came here on Sundays for lunch. Sad that I’m moving out of stl so I can’t come back anymore…

Good lawrt! That’s some good BBQ. Also had a side of beans and 10/10 recommend. It’s counter service and very fast. Sauce options are unique.

The lady named Linsey had a warm and inviting personality. The food was absolutely delicious 😋. The ribs were very tender and tasty. We will certainly go back for more. The brisket was so delicious and tender - better than other restaurants.

This was my first visit to Adam's smokehouse the ribs were delicious, as was the chicken, the baked beans were absolutely delightful, and the potato salad was really good. The only complaint I have was the macaroni and cheese, it was very bland, it was not cheesy enough, and it needed some salt. Now let's move on to the homemade sauces, both of them were flavorful and absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend paying them a visit.

We pre-ordered a couple of meal combos for our Father’s Day party, and it was perfect. The food was ready on time, well packaged, and very tasty, with plenty of leftovers. Highly recommend them!

We were looking for a good place to cater a birthday lunch for one of our employees and this place was recommended to us. We worked with Lindsey and she made it very easy. She brought everything we needed and thought of every detail. The food was delicious! Hands down best BBQ in STL! We will definitely be using you guys for future events!

This place is the real deal! The owner does a great job of perfectly balancing his dry rub spice blend with a naturally smokey flavor and aroma! The flavor of the full rack of ribs was right down my alley (tinge of natural sweetness and savory). And the best part is the meat fell right off the bone and it wasn't dry at all! And let's not forget about the baked beans that pair's amazingly with anything you eat it with!!! There was definitely a positive ownership presence and the customer service was exceptional. The prices are competitive for the quality and portions you get. Thank YOU for doing business right with passion! We will definitely be telling everyone we know and we will be back soon!!!

I love this place. I have been to St. Louis exactly 2 times. The first time I was lucky enough to find this place, the second, I was lucky enough to return. The food: The Meat. It's why you go here, right? Every morsel of food here is kissed with sweet smoke. It's not oily or acrid, it's smoked and flavorful. The meats are well cooked with beautiful smoke rings. There are no "barks" of overcooked sauces to saw through. Just a delicate ring of smoke to seal in juices. Each meat is made to pair perfectly with each sauce, and every side The sides: Are bountiful. None of us, and there were 5 of us, finished the 2 sides that came with our meals. Every side, and I have tried, can be paired with the meats. Add beans to your sandwich. Pair slaw with your pulled pork. Dip your macaroni and cheese on your beans. It works. I am partial to macaroni salad. It's peppery and has the right amount of vinegar to cut the mayo. The sauces: there's one for everyone. The Carolina Vinegar is just that, vinegar forward and spicy. The Sweet Jane is a classic barbecue sauce made to slather anything. I am personally partial to the Cranbery Cayenne. It plays nicely with the smoke, especially the turkey. The People: these people love their food, and want you to as well. They're southern hospitality, sincerity and craftsmen. They make you want to hang around and keep ordering. My only suggestion, order early and often. 🤙🏻✌🏻
