I stop going here because of the treatment I received when I was pregnant with my third child. The Doctor basically call me lazy because I ask for a doctor note to get off work. I stayed sick while pregnant with my daughter and some days I could barely move. Another doctor told me to get my tubes tied, even though I never asked him for his input! I won’t recommend or wish this horrible service and clinic on my worst enemy. Crazy part is I been going here since I was 11 my first doctor here was Janet Kennedy I think she was a nurse practitioner. That was before they rebuilt it. It’s was so loving and fun bad then I use to love going! It’s just awful now!

I believe the pharmacy staff is allergic to their phones. Cause I've been calling every 5minutes and it goes straight to voicemail after a couple rings. Ridiculous lazy staff.

Horrible experience ever since I started going here a few years back for my mental health. Unprofessional people up front, they were always so late to call me back for my appointment. It’s also IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment because no one ever answers the phone. Recently I had my first prenatal appointment here, which was a huge MISTAKE. My appointment was at 12:15 and I didn’t see the doctor until 3:30, and she only was in there for about 10 minutes max maybe. This place is a joke.

They make it so inconvenient to schedule a routine check up. You have to call several times and never seem to get a live person to speak with. It should not be this hard to schedule a routine check up. There should be more availability in scheduling days and not something like 4 months in advance. I have not heard anyone scheduling a routine check up 4 months in advance before.

If you have an emergency you should rather go to to the ER or Urgent Care. I took my father as walk in at 8:42 A.M because he couldn't walk. He was trying to call in make an app since 8:00 A.M that day. All he was getting was a replay of a voicemail. First of all, I think the whole you have to make an app at 8:00 is a JOKE. How come you have this RULE if you are not going to answer your phone? My dad sign the paperwork even pay for his co payment and we where let in to wait at waiting room #2. We where waiting for a bit and by 9:20 a nurse came out and talk to ask to see what his symptoms where. We talk briefly and we where acknowledge by her that we will be seen soon. That they where some "complications with the schuelde on there end". People where coming and going since we got there and we where still not called to be seen. I went up to a nurse around 10:00 A. M. when she was calling another patient to see when he would be seen. She asked for his name and doctor, which I provided for her. Than I heared nothing from her. Some time passed and again people where coming and going. I asked again with another nurse close by 11 and she say she was going to be check. Around 1 o'clock I asked a nurse if he was going to be seen. I was infuriated I wanted to know he was going to be see or not, to tell me now or I was about to leave and take my dad to somewhere else. She say she was going to check and asked what his name, birthday and doctor was. Than she came back five minutes later and say he was never check in by the reception area. I was tick off, so not only did he sign some paperwork but also they took his money on top of that but he was never CHECK IN? She took me upfront to get CHECK IN! The people in front said she did check him in. Than another one of them chime in "I did see her when I went to my lunch. But I didn't see her afterwards." I was told to go back to the waiting area. By the time he was put in a room it was almost 2 o'clock. He was given his medicine by almost 4 o'clock They open at 8 and close by 5. I almost was like an employee I literally had spend almost a working day they do as a patient. I went to the manager of the reception area and she told me that something happen with the system because he was check in. Will it sounds to me the system needs to be updated because it clearly ain't working. This place lacks communication as team and as a business and as a whole. They will take there sweet time and whenever they feel like or whenever the system feels like to even see you. They don't care when you get see because they work there and get pay no matter what. Make sure to ask them if you actually got check-in. Enter at your own risk.

I’ve been a patient since 2006. This place has gone down over the years. From the doctors on down to Customer Service. This year I have officially given up on Family Care. Whereas I’ve relied upon care from this facility for myself and children. I am now seeking a different facility and doctor due to the difficulties. Oh and the cherry 🍒 on top... the receptionist whom violated hipa and gave personal health information away,. still working there and still violating others privacy.

Pharmacy is a JOKE!! Called up there after waiting several days for a prescription asking if it was ready. I'm told they have nothing in the computer until I tell her I watched the Dr send it over. Then she tells me it cant be filled till the 11th....today is the 16th..its a controlled substance..sounds like someone need to investigate this place because this is a monthly occurance! If you dont have to use this pharmacy DONT!! They are rude, dont care, talk to patients like we are bothering them cuz they have to do their job...im 40 years old and have never experienced such ignorance in a medical field!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE Dr. Marco Garcia. I will never return to Family Care Health Center ever again. I meant it when I said I am sorry about Greg or Glenn (I don’t recall his name) and what you had gone through. It must be great to be a young single doctor but use that and your sense of humor to proposition women outside of a professional setting.

I liked this place a great deal when I started going there a couple years ago, but I agree with some of the comments that this practice has no sense of urgency. Not only that, but I'm never going back to the same doctor there because she simply doesn't listen and it took three weeks of calling there and calling the doctor's exchange at night to get the treatment I should have gotten weeks ago. They just let people's conditions get worse and by the time they do get treatment, it doesn't help much.

I was shocked to see that they allow their security to smoke so close to the establishment. Had to walk in the street to avoid the smoke as my son has asthma. Very upsetting theyd allow that, will be using a new pharmacy from now

Tried for two days to make an OB appointment. Keep getting caught in a phone tag loop. What's so hard about giving you an extention number to the department you need to speak to?? Been home sick last two days and have to return to work tomorrow. I have no more time for games and I'm calling a real doctors office tomorrow and get this done.

I have the best doctor in the world! I started seeing Dr. Daniel Berg 11yrs ago! He’s been a great doctor and friend…we consider him part of our extended family! Even if he’s strapped by time, he makes sure you are taken care of. If you find you just needed to talk, but you hadn’t planned on spilling your guts, he listens and will suggest options if you need to talk to someone! If you need a referral, he’ll have that done within an hour! There’s so much more I could share but I don’t want to write a book!! Dr.Berg wants nothing but the BEST for ALL his patients! TRUST ME! However, I will say the front desk has really gone downhill the past few years. They’ll sit there chatting with each other, while you stand there for 10mins, then give YOU an attitude! Very few if any will smile when they great you…it’s sad bc they’re the front line of the whole clinic! It’s like they could care less about their job requirements, and just sit there to collect a check! You need quality ppl as the front line of the clinic, in my opinion!

This happens almost every time I come to pharmacy.. Also can't speak to anyone..must leave voice message..takes up to.2 days and multiple messages before.being able to speak to someone.

I've been going here for over 10 years I love my doctor. Hes very attentive and respectful. I know the pharmacy and the prenatal care is super busy. It is still the cleanest and easy flowing clinic I have ever experienced. I have accompanied friends and family to visits at other clinics. I NEVER will be ungrateful for the staff at family care health centers. They are top notch if you ask me!

Unfortunately as uninsured worker I still have to go here. My status is a direct result of an irresponsible physician who ignored my pharmacies', myself, and multiple staff members request to refill an urgently needed prescription for a week. I lost my job and became homeless. This happened early in 2018 and today has become a repeat. No compassion, empathy or sympathy for patient suffering and no sense of urgency!

What kind of health care facility closes at 10am on a Friday and then stays closed thru the weekend and Monday. I got there at 950 and the doors were locked and the rude security refused to let me in even tho I was there well before 10am.

Walked in for my appointment early, stood on the dot waiting to be called with noone else waiting and 7 people the front desk purposely ignored me. Asked if someone "could help me please" and was met with arrogance and ignorance. After making me wait past my appointment time they said its past time and refused to see me without proper care that I made the appointment, took off work, and showed up on time for. The director Thanh was a part of this action as well.

I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder in 2000 that per doctor is the result of drop of brain chemical Serotonin that has caused increased heart rate and BP. FCHC behavioral health practitioner refused to refer me to another specialist for med eval to restart me on the med that was Rx'd in 2005, saying that there were times when he medicated and shouldn't have. In 2017 while at their dental clinic, the dentist refused to fill a tooth that had a most outdated filling and was causing pain there. She refused because my anxiety levels were up as was my BP. Earlier this year I saw a dentist that's covered by my benefits . . . he didn't take my BP, filled one tooth one week, another one 2 weeks later. Suffice to say I'm still "in my skin" and on BP med that works rather than what FCHC doctors Rx'd that cause serious to severe side effects . The dentist at FCHC no long works there. I'm scheduled for a specialist visit next month re: eval for best med to keep the Serotonin levels in check.

I have went here for over 15 years. I love most of the people here. But, with having a lot low income people that you serve, that comes with a lot of trauma. And, the staff is not "Trauma Informed" not even the mental health staff. Trauma informed is not a few hour lecture or course. It's a six month to a year long course that is taken to get a certification. I have been traumatized and shamed during a routine obgyn appt, and recently during one of my therapy sessions. And, then the situation in the notes on mychart wasnot accurate. I think it's time to step it up family care (holly hills location) and do better and make everyone take a trauma informed class and a nervous system class so you can better assist the people who need your help so desperately. If you work with people, you work with trauma.

Billing department accessibility is an issue. Called more than once on a Friday between 11am-1pm, and each time I received no answer. Not to mention that there is no online portal, so if you don’t get someone on the phone you have very limited ways of paying for balances owed. Please improve.

The staff is always very patient and helpful with any health needs of their patients. They also help with alcohol/substance use disorders and have a dental clinic that accepts Medicaid patients. They work hard to ensure the highest level of care possible for each of their patients.

They had the sweetest eye doctors this time! Last time I went there was this rude, ableist, eye doctor with long black hair but these two new female eye doctors were AMAZING. I went there since 14. Never had a problem. Until I started seeing Dr. Sudvarg. She as ok and most people like her and might not agree but she did some very unprofessional things to me. It took me 2 years of asking and asking if I could see the Mental health doctors upstairs She had me on Prozac and others was not working after 2 yrs finally. I saw Dr Asher. He was a god send he helped me immediately he knew what I needed. Well a diff situation happen when my daughter was 9 yrs old she's overweight I asked the nurse to put this letter I typed put on front of chart. Basically saying she's very embarrassed abt her weight so to kind of no come right out and say in a way that made her more self conscious . maybe its just me but what she did was sat on the step to the examine table to get down to her level and with a sweet voice told her you need to change or do you want to doe of heart disease do you want your family to lose you forever put it this way my daughter had tears running down her face which made me cry also. There are other ways to say something about weight then u can die. Last I got ptegmsnt in 2011 very unexpectly right after I got my IUD taken out I was just married. I was told to wait a month for my next birth control. This was my 4th child . I used protection. But evidently I see not 100%. I was real sick and throwing up went to slu. Thought maybe the flu.nope I was preg. Of course they always ask ur primary I told them so they sent her the records I was 5 wks. O had an appoint w her that next wk.and no i didn't tell her my mom and family members didn't know. So I believe i saw her.monthly. I finally came to terms I was having this baby my mom went with me to tell Dr Sudvarg the news. Well she I'm assuming made up her mind when she got Slus report and saw I visited her that next week and didn't tell her. I was so embarassed especially because my mom was there. She told me I did not tell her about my pregnancy therefore I broke patient doctor confidentalilty. Are you kidding me. I was barely 5 weeks and hadmy told my mom or best. I guess 2nd she gave me medication for that month and it could of hurt the baby but that's untrue bc St marys hospital where I was sent kept me on it. I laher got a written letter saying the same thing. Ihe my choice. My body therefore at barely 5 wks how could she fire me. I mean for the whole clinic. I can never go there again to even see the best phyc Dr. Asher..my kids can. Now my oldest is 21 and pre g and goes there I told her she better make sure Dr. Sudvarg is not the Dr delivering.who knowe she might not let me be with my own daughter during her delivery. I doubt it. But I don't want to be anywhere around that lady. She can be nice. But at the same time rude. Conieving. And she thinks she better then the rest cause she's a Dr. And she looks down on people. I begged 2 years to see a phyciatrist. It would not if hurt her to give me a referal. Come to find out I had bipolar. Sorry for the ling review Family Care center is great tho for ppl with no insurance.what she did was wrong on so many levels. I did not only of any law saying u had to tell ur Dr before anybody. I wasn't on narcotics or anything. And for those who do like her. Thats great but I'm not the first or the last she discharged for dumb reasons . 9
