This restaurant in Pittsburgh is a true Nepali gem, offering exceptional momos, thupka, pork sekuwa, and more. Their service is top-notch, and the Nepali Thali is a hearty treat. The traditional folk music adds to the ambiance. Just remember, they might not answer the phone or take big orders after 8 pm, even though they close at 9 pm. Always double-check Google Maps for closures. Whether you're Nepali or not, this spot is a must-visit for an authentic taste of Nepal!

We discovered this place on accident and it was a pleasant surprise. Shared some veggie samosas, my friend got chicken lo mein, I got the tikka masala and my god. It was like the Nepalese monks brought those ingredients fresh from their holy gardens to prepare my food. The food was all delicious and 10/10 would take a date there to impress.

Great place to try to authentic Nepali ani Tibetan food. They got chicken and pork options. Food is spicy so let them know if you don’t want it spicy. The dumplings were delicious, chicken sadeko was crispy and flavorful. Chicken chow main was pretty good as well. Try it. Prices are a bit high but will be worth it. Portions are good size.

Simple Nepalese restaurant. The humbleness of Nepalese tradition inside the restaurant. Food was ok. The service was not great. Took almost 25 minutes to get the food served. The sauce they served with momo tasted like Sambar. I do like the momo and thali.

Review for Everest Kitchen, Pittsburgh: Delicious Food, Poor Phone Service I recently had the pleasure of dining at Everest Kitchen in Pittsburgh, and I must say that the food was absolutely delicious. The flavors, quality, and presentation of the dishes exceeded my expectations, and I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. The restaurant offers a wide range of authentic dishes from the Himalayan region, and each dish I tried was bursting with flavor. From the aromatic spices to the perfectly cooked meats and vegetables, it was evident that the chefs at Everest Kitchen take great pride in their culinary creations. The menu had a good variety of options, catering to different dietary preferences and providing something for everyone. However, I must address a significant issue that I encountered with Everest Kitchen—their poor phone service. On multiple occasions, I attempted to call the restaurant to inquire about reservations or to place a takeout order, but my calls were consistently ignored. This lack of responsiveness was disappointing and frustrating, as it made it difficult to communicate with the restaurant or plan ahead. While I understand that restaurants can be busy and phone calls may be missed from time to time, it is essential for businesses to prioritize effective communication with their customers. Ignoring phone calls not only creates inconvenience but also reflects negatively on the overall customer experience. Despite the communication challenges, I still highly recommend Everest Kitchen for the exceptional quality of their food. If you have the opportunity to visit the restaurant in person, I believe you will have a delightful culinary experience. The attentive service from the waitstaff and the wonderful ambiance further enhance the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Everest Kitchen in Pittsburgh offers truly delicious food that showcases the rich flavors of the Himalayan region. However, their poor phone service and lack of responsiveness to phone calls can be a source of frustration for customers trying to reach them. I hope that the management takes this feedback into consideration and works towards improving their communication channels to provide a more seamless experience for their customers.

I’ve been visiting Pittsburgh for almost 20 years now. Just visited this place for the first time and it’s legit my favorite place in Pittsburgh now. Will be coming here every visit from now on. I got the veg thupka and husband got the pork sekuwa. Both excellent. Asked for very little spice and it was quite spicy and we loved it. Take caution with the spice

Must-go place. Phenomenal traditional cuisine with a fabulous lunch & dinner special. One of the authentic Nepali restaurants in Pittsburgh. Seriously, if you love Nepali/Indian/Tibetan food, this is the place to go. Great customer service with friendly staffs, and owner. Variety of options on the menu with various spice level offerings based on your requirements. Momos are highlights for this place. Overall a fantastic place to try a different style of cooking with friends, families and co-workers!

We are coming second time all the way from Chicago to have this authentic Nepalese food! We tried various Nepalese restaurants before but this is handsdown the best Nepalese food we ever had. We have been to Nepal before so we can say that they make really authentic food. Till now we have tried their veg thali, steamed veg Momos, Thupka, Veg curry and Nepalese Chai. All of these were really tasty. Can't wait to visit again.

Really delicious Nepalese food and everyone working there was very friendly. I’ll definitely go again the next day I’m in the area. I especially loved the pork sekuwa.

My fiancé and I typically eat at Everest Kitchen once a month or so. Brentwood has many excellent options for Nepalese cuisine, but this spot is, by far, our favorite. Most often, we order takeout, but we have dined in, and the atmosphere, ambiance, and decor is spectacular. Perfect example of a small restaurant doing the absolute best with what they have. When you're sitting down, it's easy to forget that you're inside of a strip plaza on the side of 51. The staff is very friendly, and often offers assistance if you have any questions about the menu or are unfamiliar w/ Nepalese food in general. On a slower traffic evening, one of the younger gentlemen spent a significant amount of time describing some of the dishes I'm yet to try as well as discussing their spectacular music playlist with me. It was great to learn a bit more about the origins and culture of some of our neighbors. Although, we've been trying to explore the menu a bit more recently, we've had Tikka Misala and Chili Momo from nearly all of the Nepalese restaurants in the area, and Everest Kitchen is second to none. 10/10 recommend.
